Why the Enemy is After the Children

It’s clear that the enemy is after the children, but why? Why is he so bent upon their destruction? What could possibly be the real reason for these blatant attacks against them? What is he afraid of? Let’s turn to the Scriptures and find out why.

Why the destruction of the innocent lives of the preborn through the murderous attack of abortion? The Word of the Lord to the prophet Jerimiah 1:5 as he was being called into the priesthood gives us great insight into this mystery. He says, ““Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” You notice twice it says, “Before”, not during, not after, but before we are formed in our mother’s womb God knows us and has a destiny for each one of us to fulfill.

Another form of destruction in the lives of the children is with the identity crisis. Why is there such a strong push to strip the children of their basic identity? We can find the answer to this deep question in Genesis 1:26-28, “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

God ordained that all people were to be created in the image of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This word “image” means mirror image. The New Testament confirms this in First John 4:17, “Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.” Plainly put, we cannot mirror God’s image, and be like Him in this world if we do not understand that we are created in His image. We are the only created being created like Him. And with this great honor comes great responsibility, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

This mandate is filled with words of authority and power. But if we do not know we are created in His mirror image we can not activate this God-given authority and power, and this is exactly what the enemy wants–passive and powerless Christians. He fears the Messiah’s words in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” We are given the authority of Christ to rule and reign as kings and priests on this earth, but we cannot do so effectively if we do not know who we are or that we have been given authority over the enemy. “And have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.” Revelation 5:10.

And one final fear-point of the enemy that I want to state is found in Acts 2: 17-21 from the New King James version. “‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy. I will show wonders in heaven above and signs in the earth beneath: blood and fire and vapor of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.’”

The enemy fears the fulfillment of this prophesy about the children. He knows that in these last days that the Lord is pouring out His Spirit upon all of us, but especially, a special anointing is being poured out upon the youth of this world to bring in the end-time’s harvest of souls. Our enemy fears the everlasting fruit that they are created for while in their mother’s womb, predestined for before they were knitted in the womb, and anointed for during these last days. These are the main reasons why the enemy is after the children of these days, and seeks to steal, to kill and to destroy them (see John 10:10).

Let’s pray.

“Father God, in the name of Your precious and holy Son, Jesus Christ, I plead the power of His blood over the lives of our children, and their children. I declare words of faith that “No weapon formed against them shall prosper.” By words of faith we draw a blood line around them that the enemy cannot penetrate and prosper against them. We make prophetic utterance in their favor that they will know who they are, and they will activate the authority that they have been given, and become the kings and priest that you have ordained them to be for You and for Your glory. And we declare that they work together in harmony with Your Spirit and take the kingdom of God by force and go forth into the harvest fields and present to You a great and everlasting harvest for all of eternity to rejoice over. In Your precious and holy name, I declare these things so, amen and amen.”

Help—the Mountain Appears to be Getting Bigger and Stronger!

Jesus says to us in Matthew 17:20, “So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” NKJV.

You are doing your part, declaring, decreeing, commanding, and demanding that this mountain of sickness be removed from your midst, but this mountain appears to be getting bigger and stronger. You need advice because you are not sure what is going on with this situation. You want help to heal.

First, some mountains are stronger than others, their foundations run deeper, there are even hidden strongholds that need be unearthed and dealt with. Strongholds such as unforgiveness, pride, shame, and fear just to name a few. Envision these strongholds as individual mountains within the main mountain. These issues must be dug up, exposed, and dealt with before the main mountain will move. You will have to destroy these internal mountains from the inside to the outside. While at the same time, maintain the faith of your words to bring the entire mountain down.

And remember, you will also rip apart the very fiber of satan’s pride and deception against you. He is not going to easily release his power grip on you. He is going to resist your efforts against him. You will have to fight to force his deadly jaw and the effects of his lying tongue to let you go in Jesus’ name.

As you continue to stand firm in your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and in the power of His redemptive blood He shed for you, this mountain will lose its strength and power and it will come down.

What Does God Say About Your Faith?

Have you taken the time to investigate what God says about your faith. It might surprise you at what an amazing gift you have been given from God. Let’s take a few moments to search the Scriptures to find out what does God say about your faith.

We Have Been Given a Measure of Faith

Sometimes we don’t see ourselves clearly as we out to, but the truth is we have all been given a measure of faith, and how we use our measure is up to each one of us.

For by the grace [of God] given to me I say to everyone of you not to think more highly of himself [and of his importance and ability] than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has apportioned to each a degree of faith [and a purpose designed for service], Romans 12:3, AMP.

The New King James Version states this degree of faith like this, “God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.”

Even a Little Bit of Faith is Powerful

You May think that your faith is small in measure, but look at what you can do with it.

So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you, Matthew 17:20.

What is that mountain standing in front of you? God has given you the responsibility and His ability to make it move out of the way. What are you going to do about it?

Faith Guides Us

For we walk by faith, not by sight, 2 Corinthians 5:7.

We might not understand how this miracle is going to come about, and that’s okay. What counts is that we allow this supernatural tool–our faith to lead us down God’s miraculous pathway to the miraculous.

Faith is Our Evidence

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, Hebrews 11:1.

God’s truth of the matter is not those medical test results, but the foundation of your faith. God’s report says in Isaiah 53:4-5 (AMP), “But [in fact] He has borne our griefs, and He has carried our sorrows and pains; yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken, struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; the punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, and by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.”

Our Faith Heals Us

What did the Lord say to the blind man? Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road. Mark 10:52.

The woman who bled for twelve years heard the Messiah say these words about her faith and healing. “And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”” Luke 8:48.

We activate our measure of faith in many ways every day. When it comes to sickness and disease we can activate our faith in the sickness or in the Lord’s healing power. I choose to heal by my faith. What about you?

Our Faith Pleases God

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, Hebrews 11:6.

I believe most of us want to please God, and He has provided us with the supernatural tool to do so–faith. So perhaps, you are being accused of being “Way out there!”, but in reality you are pleasing to God. And at the end of every day this is what counts.

Our Faith is Tested

Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. James 1:3.

Our faith is so important to God that He actually tests it, and it always produces what He desires for us–patience. And this patience is one of the gifts of the Spirit that we need to operate in this life. See Galatians 5:22-23.

Increase Our Faith

We see in Luke 17:5-6 that the apostles said the the Lord, “Increase our faith!”. And in Mark 9:22-23 we read about the man’s response to Jesus when he brought his epileptic son to be healed, “Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”” And you may be crying out to God like this man, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” And even if you find yourself in this situation God has a plan of action in Romans 10:17 to increase your faith. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

How do we increase our faith?

We read the Word of God.
Not only do we read it, we study it.
It’s not enough to just study the Word of God, we must speak it out from our mouths.
And then we have to put action behind those spoken words of faith.

Prayer for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit

I have been a witness to a mighty move of the Spirit moving throughout the entire earth. It is a wave of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The altars have been filled with people asking and receiving this empowerment of Holy Spirit. The Lord knows what is ahead of us and His desire is that we are ready for what is to come.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is for anyone who has received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This is what the apostle Peter preached immediately following the initial outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:38-39, NKJV.

It is the Father who gives the Holy Spirit to those who ask of Him, and He always gives us good gifts.

“If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11:11-13, NKJV.

Before we pray here are some instructions. Read through them and then pray in faith through the prayer below.

Lay your hand on your heart or forehead.
Ask the Father for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus.
Expect to speak in other tongues.
You receive by faith, but just like anything else, you need to put your faith into action. After praying for the baptism, open up your mouth and allow the utterance that is stirring around on the inside of you to come forth. In other words, gives voice to what is stirring on the inside of you. The Holy Spirit will not force Himself upon you. You need to cooperate with Him. It’s easy, but very powerful.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I am a believer in Jesus Christ, and I ask You in His name for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I believe and receive from You.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

Now open up your mouth, start moving your tongue and give voice to what is starting to stir in your heart. It won’t be anything you recognize. But do not be afraid; just cooperate with the Holy Spirit. In time you will start to learn the importance and the power in this type of prayer.

A Prayer of Faith for Healing for You

In the midst of so much sickness, disease, suffering and death I want to bless you with a prayer that I wrote and prayed for you in my first book, DARE to Believe for your healing. Personalize this and pray this prayer of faith over you and your loved ones often.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You for revealing the truth to my friends concerning the different strongholds that the enemy has had that have prevented their healings from coming forth. In Jesus’ name, I renounce you, satan, and all of your tactics against these people. I rebuke a spirit of infirmity, a spirit of fear, a spirit of death, and any other hindering spirit that is controlling their lives. Right now, my friends, I release the power of that same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Life. I release His healing power to flow into your bodies in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. I command your bodies to line up to the Word of God, and I boldly declare that by His stripes you are healed. I command all pain and all swelling to cease, all broken, sprained or strained body parts to be whole in Jesus’ name. I speak into existence new blood, new cells, new organs, and new systems. I declare that this newly created body works together in harmony to produce life and life in abundance. I renounce every negative report that stands in contrary to the Word of God. I speak life and strength to dead and weak body parts, knowing that with my God all things are possible. I rebuke the spirit of doubt and unbelief from whispering lies into your ears, and I command every lying tongue (whether human or spirit) to be silenced against you, my friend, in Jesus’ name. I release the Spirit of Peace, Love, and Joy to enter in your domain. Lord, I give You praise and honor as my friends fulfill their destiny that You created them for.

Healing Prayer Against Multiple Sclerosis

I receive many prayer requests daily and I often receive requests to pray for people suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. Here is a prayer of faith from me to you. Pray this in faith over yourself or over your loved one.

“In the name of Jesus’ I renounce the spirit of death and the attack of this disease, Multiple Sclerosis against your body. I release the healing power of Holy Spirit to flow through your brain and spinal cord /central nervous system. I command the confusion in your immune system to cease and that it stops this attack against the protective sheath (myelin) that covers your nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body. I renounce all the damage and deterioration of your nerves in Jesus’ name, amen.”

God loves you and cares about you very much. It is not His will or plan for you to suffer from this crippling disease. No, your Messiah, Jesus Christ paid the price for all to be healed and made whole in spirit, soul (mind and emotions) and in your physical body. Prophet Isaiah prophesied what Jehovah Rapha would do to purchase our healing. “But [in fact] He has borne our griefs, and He has carried our sorrows and pains; yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken, struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him]. Confession of Faith Against Crohn’s Disease

Many people, including God’s people are suffering from digestive diseases such as Crohn’s disease. It’s time for us to get pro-active against these attacks of the devil. Jesus is very clear in John 10:10 that the devil is the thief, and he only comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy us. And God’s Word teaches us the power of our words in Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.” Brothers and sisters, it is time for us to active our faith with faith-filled words and stop the power of these devilish attacks against our bodies, and activate the healing power of the Blood of Jesus. Here is a confession of faith against Crohn’s disease.

In the name of Jesus’, I bind the strongman of death, disease, and Crohn’s disease from stealing my health, killing my body, and destroying my life, I loose the abundant life of Jesus to flow through my digestive tract. I prophesy in the name of the Lord that I am free from abdominal pain, inflammation, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, and malnutrition. I decree the healing promise of the stripes of the Lord in Isaiah 53:4-5 deep into the layers of my bowel tissue. And by my faith in the healing power of the Lord, I am healed and made whole, amen.

Word Curses Hurt Your Body

Negativity can be so subtle that it can often go unnoticed–especially when everyone else around you is just as negative as you are. So to shed some light on this matter, we are going to review a list of common negative word curses that God’s people speak against their own bodies and situations daily that affect their health and well-being.

My pain.

My cancer.

My diabetes.

I am sick and tired.

I always get sick during flu season.

I’m sick of hearing this.

This will be the death of me.

I’m more confused now than I have ever been.

I’m losing my mind.

I can’t remember a thing.

I can’t think.

I’ll never figure this out.

This kid is going to drive me insane.

I can’t hear.

I can’t see a thing.

I can’t see past the end of my nose.

I’m blind as a bat.

I’m poor.

Nothing ever works out.

I never win.

Some days are unbearable.

Nothing good ever happens to me.

God doesn’t listen to me.

I pray and nothing changes.

Healing doesn’t work.

Healing isn’t for today.

The plain and simple truth is this–as long as you continue to speak these types of negative curses, you will not be able to attain all that God has designed for you, including a healed body. It works like this, a husband criticizes his wife over and over until she shuts down and no longer responds to him, or responds to him in a negative manner. The physical body responds the same way to your negative word curses, it shuts down and body parts respond negatively and deteriorate and die, it takes a radical sanctification of the Holy Spirit for your tongue to be healed and your body to be made whole again.

Encouragement from God’s Word for Difficult Times

We are all facing troubling times and the challenges in life are increasing not easing up. But even in-the-midst of an out-of-control world we can find encouragement from God’s word for such difficult times.

Jesus warns us that we will all face difficult times on this earth. Not because God designed troubles for us, but because we live in a fallen world. Let us read these words from John 16:33, “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” Jesus makes it clear here that in this world we will have challenges to overcome.

Our Lord warns us that we will all pass through difficult situations, but according to Philippians 4:13 this is how we can have victory over them. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” By His strength we can do all things.

There are times when we need a reminder that it is not by our human reasoning or physical strength that we overcome these obstacles in life. These are the words of the Lord of Hosts from Zechariah 4:6 about how to do whatever is put before us, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit.” We need to learn to tap into the power of Holy Spirit as this is the only way that we will be able to overcome what is rising against us.

Romans 8:37 also encourages us to know that God creates us to overcome, to win in every situation. The Word says, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” And this conquering spirit is given to us because He loves us and wants us to overcome the wiles of the enemy.

And Jesus empowers us with His authority, not just some of His authority but all of His authority. Let’s read about this in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” And let’s make it perfectly clear that the reference to serpents and scorpions is referring to demon spirits that attack us with deadly things that can cause a great sting throughout our life.

He also equips us with other spiritual weapons of warfare to overcome the constant attacks of the enemy such as the Blood of Jesus and the power of the spoken word. Revelation 12:11 clearly states that, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

We all may be facing troubling times, but we do not need to be bound by fear. Second Timothy 1:7 tells us what God has and has not given to us, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

During these troubling times let us turn to the promises of God, read and study them, ponder upon them and apply their wisdom to our lives.

A Deep Cleansing is Taking Place–Prophetic Word

This is the prophetic word of the Lord He gave to me to share with you this night of March 28th, 2021.

A deep cleansing is taking place.

And I am cleansing from the foundations.

Because My people who are called by My name are founded upon My Rock, the Rock of Salvation.

Salvation goes to the very core of your spiritual being.

And My people have been standing upon shaky ground, and I will not stand still and allow My people to sink upon the sands of this world.

During this shaking, earthly things are falling apart. And during this shaking I say to you, “Hold onto the power of My Word. Have I not said to you from times of old, “The grass withers and the flowers fade, but My Word lives forever.” My Word is eternal.

And I say to you, “Know that whatever can be shaken will be. I will leave no stone untouched. My Son is coming back for a bride who is without spot or wrinkle. And the Church has many spots to be removed and deep wrinkles that need to be ironed out.

I also speak peace into your inner being. I say to you, “Do not be afraid and do not fret for I am faithful and true and I will be with you through it all.

I remind you that this is a deep cleansing. And this deep cleansing is going to expose the intentions of the hearts of man. And this heart exposure is going into all realms—spiritual exposure of the individual. I have said you will know them by their fruits, and no longer will I hide the spiritual fruit from the eyes of My people. And once you see, and you will see the heart condition of all around you, then you are held accountable to act accordingly.

This season is troubling, and you will see more and more that will trouble you. But trust Me to lead you and guide you through it all. Know that I have given you all that you have need of to overcome the trouble of this earth—that serpent of old and his wicked bag of tricks.

Beware of his bag of tricks that he will use against you to lead you astray in these last days. Know the signs of the times and the season that you are living in. Accept my challenges in My Word for these ultimate days, “Be about My heavenly Father’s business and win the lost, bring them into the fold of My Father. Know the power that raised Me from the dead and that it lives and resides on the inside of you waiting for you to release His power by faith.”

Recognize that the Church is not about buildings and programs. It never was and it never will be. The Church is the people, those that love Me. Do you love me? Feed My sheep. Do you love Me? Tend to My lambs. Give out the spiritual food for My people to feast upon. Learn to feed yourselves on the Word of God that has been set before you.

Oh, My people, have become weak because they have not fed their own faith. But I rebuke you out of a spirit of love—Myself that I have given freely to you. I say to you, “You have forgotten your first love—Me. Remember Me and all that I delivered you from. Return to your first love and walk in the revelation of the grace that I gave to you.”

Be not afraid, be not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am not ashamed of you. I stand in the gap for you. I gave them My back to stripe for your healing of spirit, soul and body. And I say to you, “When you take a stand for Me, I stand for you.”

Oh My children, I have not forgotten you. I have not tossed you aside. But I carry you in the center of My heart. You are precious to Me, and My precious thoughts concerning you out number the sands of this earth. I say, “Do not run and hide from Me. I see your brokenness, and I sense your broken hearts. But I say to you, “Arise in the power of boldness in this late hour. For during this late hour I will release a great power that this earth has not seen since the day I rose again from the dead.

I remember that day well. I was released from the powers of hell, and I possess its keys. And in Me you are free from the satanic power of that place.

You may be small-in-number, but in the spirit realm you are giant in the realm of faith. And your great faith is pleasing to me. And I have given you the power of My boldness, and I ask you to meet me at the throne of My grace and make your petitions known onto Me and know that as I hear and record your prayers of faith that you will receive the good of the land, My land. And I will hold you up and not let go. Trust Me, and trust in My ways-even when you do not see My hand moving, know that it is moving on your behalf.
