Here is a prayer of faith to pray and a confession of faith to speak over yourself or loved ones suffering from strokes.
Prayer of Faith
In the name of Jesus your Healer, I stand in the gap for you, being strong in the faith that with Jesus all things are possible (Mark 10:27). I renounce this violent attack from the spirit of death. I release the healing power of the blood of the Lamb of God to flow through your entire brain to re-create and make it whole. I declare by faith that you will not die but live and declare the glory of the Lord (Ps. 118:17).
I renounce the spiritual chains of paralysis and declare that you are loosed (Luke 13:12), that you can stand, bend, walk, run, jump, and even dance if you want to. You can speak with clarity and understand what others are saying and freely join in conversation with others, you can read and write too. I believe that your memory is restored and that you can reason, make judgements, and understand concepts.
I renounce a spirit of depression and command it to leave you now. I believe in the power of supernatural joy and that this is God’s strength for you (Neh. 8:10). Laughter is Gods medicine and you can laugh and find the joy in each day (Prov. 17:22).
I thank the Lord that you are alive today. In His precious name, amen.
Confession of Faith
I declare by faith that no weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isa. 54:17) I will not die but live and declare the glorious work of the Lord in my life (Ps. 118:17). With words of faith, I speak life into my every cell, tissue, organ, and system. My strength is renewed like that of the eagle; I will run and not grow weary, and I will walk and not faint (Isa. 40:31). I am loosed from the bondage of this stroke (Luke 13:12). I choose not to grieve or to be depressed, for the joy of the Lord is my strength and stronghold (Neh. 8:10). I believe and trust int he Lord my God that I have been delivered from a spirit of death and the effects of this stroke and that this healing belongs to me (Ps. 103:2-3) in Jesus’ name, amen.

We make the quality decision to serve you, and not ourselves, and to glorify You with our good works that You created us to do. You have given to us all we need during turbulent times (sickness)–Your Spirit. Holy Spirit, Your Word and Your promises. You are a rich and wonderous gift to us, and You remain strong within us always. We remain faithful and true to You, Father God, Jesus, our Redeemer, and Holy Spirit, our Comforter. I say this every day along with macular degeneration healing!
