Update on David 12/6/25

Greetings in the name of Jesus!

I appreciate all of you who have joined their faith for the life and healing of my husband.

It has been a whirlwind from tragedy to miracles. Great and amazing things have happened for the glory of the Lord. The best news is that David is alive and well. By faith in the redemptive blood of the Lamb we have overcome many bad reports. But we stand firm in the faith that “By His stripes David is healed in Jesus’ name.”

Yesterday, he was discharged from ICU with amazing testimonies of the greatness of our God and was moved to a rehab center to get physically strong once again.

He is walking (slowly) on his own now and getting stronger with each new day. It tires him out, but praise Jesus, he’s doing it! He talks, jokes and can break into Spanish with no problems. When they began to decrease the two strong sedatives that kept him in a medically induced coma and began to give him commands, I saw he could hear once again without hearing aids. And has not used them since. I asked the neurologists if they had ever seen someone that was deaf wake up hearing again. They both said, “No”. I’m telling you good things are happening.

David went from instantly dying in my arms on 11/24, to (me, Andres, Marcos and Palma) fighting for his life with CPR with no results, to the team of ETMs pounding on his chest, shocking his heart 3 times to finally get a pulse, and get him to breathe, to rushing him off to the hospital where they had to continue to fight for his life for 33 minutes in total to keep him breathing, because they kept on losing him… to where he is today.

After they had removed the breathing tube, when he saw me, he said, “Becky, I saw the pearly gates.” But now, has no recollection of saying this to me, but those were his words to me loud and clear. You see, he said he saw them, but he did not enter into them. Why? Because I told him when he died in my arms, “You will not enter into those gates. It is not your time. You must make the decision to come back and fulfill your destiny in Jesus’ name.”

Do you see why I am trying to guard the words being spoken to him, over him, and about him? I pray you do. Proverbs 18:21 tells us that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” (NKJV).

We will take his recuperation day by day, week by week. I’m sure he will face the challenges during this week’s rehab, motivated and willing to “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” Rev. 12:11, (NKJV).

Yes, I have been quiet about many of these things, by choice This is not my first rodeo fighting against death, and I know the atmosphere of faith must be heavily guarded, our words and actions must align with God’s healing promises. I appreciate those of you that have stood in the gap with prayers of faith, respecting our wishes, no sympathy, no letters filled with testimonies of sickness, disease, and death. Faith talk is what we need.

On behalf of my entire family, I thank you for your prayers of faith and support.

Blessings,

Becky

Hi Becky I know that terrain. I’ve had tumours for 20 yrs. Islamic curse and soul prison. Many times I choose not to have certain people pray because as you say it must be biblical healing prayers. Standing with you in the fight. His Word is self fulfilling and we must eat it. God bless you Friend. Beverley

Becky Thank you so much for update on David. Many are still praying. I wrote you a note you may not find. I am so joyful for you and David & family. I knew since you prayed new lungs heart, kidneys for you, son, that David would receive new heart. I saw in my mind that the Glory of God was in the hospital rooms with you. I prayed that and declared it. Your family has been so faithful for Jesus.
