This prayer and confession of faith is for you or your loved one suffering from Dementia for healing and restoration. Pray and confess it often, make it personal and release His healing power into the memory of those you love in Jesus’ name.
Prayer of Faith
In the name of Jesus, I stand in faith believing in the power of our God to deliver you from spirits of death, fear and confusion, dementia, and memory loss. I believe without a doubt that God is willing to heal you of this, and no matter what the world says, God is able to heal you form dementia.
I prophesy words of healing into your physical brain that it is re-created and your memory is refreshed. You can remember what happened from long ago in the past, and you can remember what happened a second ago. You know who you are, who your family and friends are, and you remember their names. You can communicate with ease. You remember what you want to say, and you can recall the words you want to use as you speak. You do not struggle with visual and spatial abilities; you know where you are and where you are going, and you remember how to get there and back again. You are not confused, and you are not lost. All your faculties are intact; you can reason and solve problems. You can plan and organize your daily activities. In the name of Jesus, you hold on to your coordination and motor functions, amen.
Confession of Faith
I believe I am a child of God and that He loves me and cares for me. I trust Jesus for the re-creation of my brain. I am free from the fear and confusion. I know who I am, and I know who my family and friends are. I remember names and important dates. I do not struggle with forgetfulness. I am not controlled by confusion and fear, but I am at peace and happy. I know where I am going and what I am doing. This brain that I have been given serves me well all the days of my life, in Jesus’ name, amen.
