Update on prayers for my dad that I asked for earlier. Since you prayed, he has felt better. His knee isn’t as bowed out as before, but he still has knee pain. Thank you Jesus for healing my dad and thank you for praying for him earlier.
Right now, I am asking for prayer because he has a cough he has had since Monday. He also sounds hoarse and he complains of a migraines (he has HBP) and a stuffy nose. Hello, I’m emailing this prayer request for some longtime family friends. Their 23 year old daughter Emily has a fast growing tumor behind her left ear; apparently she had another tumor that the doctors called spindle cell carcinoma and that one was removed in February and this current one is a new one that has grown rapidly. The doctors are saying that the cancer hasn’t spread to any other part of her body so that’s good. To my knowledge, this family is not Christian or been around the things of God or at least nobody has ever spoken about it when I’ve been around them. But I believe God can heal Emily completely and turn this family toward God so I’m asking for prayer for her complete healing and this family’s salvation.

From my sister (4-21-2020- morning):
Jesse’s oxygen levels have been trending downward overnight. They requested to intubate him so the dips in oxygen due to his fever, movement due to aches, and clear anxiety do not deplete his oxygen reserves. His oxygen at 90%. He was placed on ventilator this morning. He is sedated and they will FaceTime us this afternoon.
Update from my sister on my nephew (4-21-2020- evening):
FaceTimed him but he was heavily sedated. The nurse said his lungs sounded much better than they did this morning. Oxygen has increased from 90% to 96%.

Exhausted… still processing and thankful for everyone keeping Jesse and our family in prayer. Thank you.
No condition update but we did receive two calls last night. Palliative care asked us to send pictures that could be printed and posted in his room. They also asked for music that could be played. Infectious disease physician called and asked if we were open to using a trial remedy. His speech cadence was very slow and would have been comical if this weren’t serious. We were able to quickly pantomime to each other before he finished his explanation that our answer would be no to Malaria and Ebola drugs. Thankfully he ended with they would like to try survivor’s plasma. We then asked if this was a trial and since UNC is a teaching hospital would they also have a control group. The doctor shared this is called compassionate use and if we consented he would actually receive plasma with covid 19 antibodies from a survivor and not placebos. Today we will speak with another physician and make a decision from there. Of course I feel as if we have read every article and case study remotely related to this topic and talked with acquaintances in this field.
