- Dear Pastor Becky. Tonight, I am calling you pastor, because you have been feeding me richly during this course, especially tonight with Chapter 5. I see myself in this chapter. I am having to witness to people who don’t want to hear the Truth, and now I understand that God is actually gifting me opportunities to win people to Him. Even though I might not see or feel any progress, He is working, and I am discipling — and it is hard work because it takes patience to teach and instruct and point out clearly how much God loves them. And thanks to your teaching manual (your book), you are clarifying this call to reach individuals and how to do it. I need to “ask for His intervention in every situation”. I need to pray in the Spirit more and be faithful to meeting with Him every day so that I can give His timely Words in and out of season (because I do have His Words deep in my heart). This is the appointed time for me, and I am right on schedule for His purposes — I am an ambassador for Christ, and I am commissioned to the ministry of reconciliation, and it is okay to not have a title and to minister to just individuals. I am an exhorter because I do encourage people and I do give them the uncompromising Truth. I was wishing I could teach to a group, but I see now that by speaking up in a group and sharing something or explaining it further is just what I am supposed to do. I don’t have to be the leader even though I am a leader. Thanks for helping me so I can help others.
