1 John 1:7 — But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Heb. 9:14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

Isaiah 53:4-5 (AMP)

  1. But [in fact] He has borne our griefs,
    And He has carried our sorrows and pains;
    Yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken,
    Struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him].
    5.But He was wounded for our transgressions,
    He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing];
    The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him,
    And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.
