Shaken By the Report

Dear Becky,

I have read and enjoyed all your books and receive the message of faith. I had a brain tumor removed and am having treatment to keep it away and I had to see my consultant today and was told that something was showing up on a scan. However, they are not sure what it is; could be scarring, radiation damage, they don’t know. I believe that I receive healing from our Lord but am shaken up by this report and have to wait till Thursday for them to telephone me. Becky, I don’t know why I am feeling this way as my faith is so strong and I just want to live.

Thank you for taking the time to read this email if you have the time as I know that you are very busy.

Things have been going so well so far and I don’t think our Lord would abandon me now.

Dear G.

Stand strong, and don’t allow the spirit of fear to take over. It is always a precursor to the spirit of death. Fight it off of you.

1. Pray in the Spirit. “In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;  and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God“ Romans 8:26-27.

2. Laugh. “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.“ Proverbs 17:22.

3. Confess the healing Scriptures, and The Healing Creed over yourself. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.“ Proverbs 18:21.

The enemy will always put up a fight against us. But you have total authority over all of his wicked works including sickness and disease.
