A Vision and Fast for 2024

As we come to the end of this year of 2023 and enter into the new year of 2024, I want to give you two assignments to kick the New Year off to a right start. I am asking you to put your faith into action and ask God for His vision for you for this coming year, and to join me on a 21-Day Daniel Fast. First of all, I want to encourage you that this is not as scary as you might think, but there are things to consider, and this is what this post is all about.

Let’s begin with a vision for 2024. If you want it to be successful, then spend some time and seek God’s plan for this new year for you. For a follower of Jesus, this is not difficult. I shared with my followers on Facebook today a plan of action that I have been doing for quite a few years now and have found it to be very successful.

Pray and ask the Lord for 3 words that describe His assignment for you this coming year, and write them down, and keep this vision in front of you for the year 2024. Three words might come to your mind immediately, or they may come one word at a time, and it might even take a few days. But however, they come to you, write them down, and plan your year around this list.

The Word of God tells us in Habakkuk 2:2-3, And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. (KJV)

I asked the Lord just yesterday for His vision for me for the year 2024, and these are the three words that I immediately heard Him speak to my heart.

1. Word
2. Pray
3. Disciple

And I know exactly what all this means. And everything that I do this coming year will be based upon His vision for me this year.

Now, for those that have been following me closely, this second step of faith isn’t new news, but for some it might be. Would you join me for a 21-Day Daniel Fast starting January 2nd, 2024? With a Daniel Fast you eat a healthy diet of fruits and vegetables, avoid added sugar and salt. Yes, this will help to detox your body from all the holiday eating, but our purpose for this fast at this time is:

1. To prepare yourself spiritually.
2. To cleanse yourself from the world’s oppression and possession of the mind and emotions so that we can be who we are to be, kings and priests for God.
3. To begin to activate His power in these latter days.

Our main Scripture for this fast will be from Job 23:12, (NKJV) I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth MORE than my necessary food.

Your study materials needed for this fast will be your Bible, my last book, “The Waves of Healing Glory”. If you do not have a copy of this book, you can order a digital copy from your local Amazon or Barnes and Nobles … but most of you will already have a copy of this book. You can also order a hard copy from these sources or from my online store here on this site. And you will also need a notebook to write down thoughts, Scriptures, and / or ideas that the Lord will speak to you. *And if you do not have a way to purchase a copy of the book, I think you will still benefit from joining this 21-Day Daniel Fast with us, as I will be sharing a short word on Facebook Live daily and adding this link for you to watch to a special page here on my website for you to listen to.
