The Church Needs to Offer Healing Again
If we want to see a mighty move of the Holy Spirit filled with healing and miracles, then we need to teach the full Gospel of Jesus Christ and give an opportunity for the people to be healed.
I remember many years ago I visited a Church in the US with a friend, and during the worship service I saw a man in a wheelchair that was paralyzed from the waist down, and the rest of his body was distorted. As the Spirit of the Lord started to move, I saw this man raise his twisted arm up to acknowledge his adoration to the Lord. Tears ran down my face, as my spirit felt grieved for this man.
My heart ached within me for two reasons. The first reason, physically he was weak, but his spirit was strong. Yet, he was trapped inside of a broken body, and was in need of a miracle. The second reason my heart felt sad is that I know that with a prayer of faith he could be set free and healed, but he and the others that he came with were whisked out the door before the service ended. The presence of the Holy Spirit was present to heal, but no opportunity was offered to this man, or to anyone else for that matter. And even though this incident happened many years ago, many Churches are the same today.
The other day I had an in-depth conversation with a pastoral friend concerning faith and healing. We were discussing the following questions, “Why are people in the Church so sick?” “Why is it so difficult for Christians in the US to receive healing?” And “What is it going to take to have a mighty move of God with supernatural healing and miracles manifesting on a regular basis?”
My response to these questions all revolve around the theme of faith. Our faith must be stirred in order to receive healing. When I say that our faith must be stirred, I am not referring to a moment when emotions are high. Faith hasn’t anything to do with emotions. Faith is trust. And we need to be able to trust in God and His Word to receive healing.
If the Church is not willing to teach about God’s supernatural healing power, then the people will come to the service without any expectations to receive healing from God. And they will return to their homes just as they came, weak and sick. If we, as individuals do not read and study the Bible concerning healing we will not be able to trust in God’s promises that His healing power has been made available for us today. Therefore, we will suffer and die prematurely because we do not understand God’s will to heal us.
God is not withholding His healing power from the people of the United States. The manifestation of divine healing is not given because people are poorer or have greater needs than others. It’s not supernaturally dispersed because one lives in a certain region of the world. The reason healing does manifest more readily in certain parts of the world is because the Word of God for healing and miracles is being taught in those lands on a regular basis. Therefore, the faith of the people is developed and they readily receive their healing miracle.
In order to develop our faith or trust in God to receive healing we need to hear His Word concerning healing. If the Church desires a mighty move of God within her midst with signs and wonders following, then she must be willing to open up the Bible and teach the full Gospel of the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ, which includes healing and miracles, and then offer the opportunity to be healed. We, as individuals need to be responsible too, and read and study God’s Word for ourselves, and stir up our own faith to receive His healing power into our bodies, or to release it to others.
If we will saturate ourselves and the land in which we live with the Word of God concerning healing, then faith for healing will arise and healing will manifest.
The Bible tells us in Romans 10:17, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

I agree, I think people in other countries get healed because of their simple child-like faith. They just take God at His word. Kind of like the way our kids take us at our word that we will care and provide for them without them asking. Just agree with me for manifestation of what Father has already promised and provided. Healing. Miracle of a recreated brain to manifest in my son’s life. The bible says that God redeems the souls of His people. God cand redeem and restore anything and anyone. AMEN AMEN and Amen

Dear Mrs Becky , I have a request for you to pray for my husband who suffers from depression, insomnia and pains at the back of his lungs.We believe and trust God for a miracle and complete healing.
Sharon, in the name of Jesus’ I renounce this pain in the lungs of your husband. I release the healing power of the Holy Spirit to be released and that they are healed and made whole, and all blockage, pain and swelling be gone and he can breathe easily with no pain. I renounce this spirit of depression over him, that whatever is bothering him is dealt with and healed, and that sleep returns to him, in the name of our Lord, amen.

Hi Becky! I saw you on Sid Roth & wow I praise the Lord for your faithful work! I’d like prayer over my physical heart. Last year I went to the ER as I had a racing heart, weakness & couldn’t move for 9 days. They couldn’t figure out what was wrong. I started listening to more healing messages & kept the Word in front of me, and received my healing. This past year, I’ve checked my heart beat as I’ve been bound in fear it could come back. I haven’t worked out or done anything to increase my heart rate. Sometimes it feels like it races but not like it did. Can you pray over my heart to be healed & deliverance from fear? Thank you! Kym
In the name of Jesus’ I renounce the spirit of death and a weak heart. I release the healing power of the Holy Spirit to flow through your heart and that it is recreated from the inside to the outside. Regardless of the problem, our God is bigger and greater. I’m blessed by the simplicity of your faith in believing God’s word. I’m always excited when I see something sent from you. I would think that you developed it by what you are telling us to do. Saturate ourselves with the word of God concerning healing. Do you have any suggestions, on where to start. In addition, as you practice the word did results increase? Probably, not a good question, I would think it is yes. There is a few Pastors, Teachers, that are teaching on the true word of God on healing. Pastor Blake Curry, JGLM Plano Texas and Bruce Van Natta, Sweet Bread Ministry in WI, whom God delivered and healed in an impossible situation. I believe that God has others and is working on getting his body to do the works he did and greater.
