What does God’s Word say to us about being redeemed from our enemy? According to the word of the Lord found in Psalm 107:2 we’ve been redeemed from the hand of the enemy. “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,” Psalm 107:2. Do we believe it? Or do we still underestimate the power of the Lord within us? At first many will respond with a reassuring response, “Yes, I believe!”. But when difficulties designed by the enemy come our way to steal, to kill, and to destroy us, many of God’s people cave into the attack of the enemy, and often without any form of resistance. This response to satan’s tactics is not right. We are to believe what God says about His redemptive hand upon us. And what does He say about our redemption from our enemy?
“When you go out to battle against your enemies and see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, who brought you up from the land of Egypt, is with you,” Deuteronomy 20:1-4. Do not to be afraid of the size of the attack or being outnumbered, in this case the number of people rising against you. And I want to encourage you that sometimes the enemy is not people rising against you at all, but it could be a disease, the cell counts of HIV or other disease in your body. No matter the number rising against your health and life, don’t be afraid, because God is with you.
“Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says the LORD to you, ‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s,” 2 Chronicles 2:15. Again, don’t be afraid of the size of the multitude rising against you, no matter if the multitude is people or sickness or some other form of attack, remember the battle belongs to the Lord. And according to the Scriptures Jesus won the battle for us at Calvary. “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ,” 1 Corinthians 15:57.
“For by their own sword they did not possess the land, And their own arm did not save them, But Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your presence, For You favored them,” Psalm 44:3-7. These battles are not won in our own strength, but in His, and in His manifested presence. “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty,” Zachariah 4:6.
Clearly throughout Scripture our God paid the price through His Son, our Redeemer Jesus Christ paid the price for our victory, and now it is up to us to trust in His righteous right hand upon us to uphold and deliver us through these vicious attacks of the enemy in whatever form they attack us.
“Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win,” 1 Corinthians 9:24. If you will run your race according to God’s Word you will live in the victory He provided for us.
But as with any and all promises of God it is a choice to live victoriously. “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus,” Philippians 3:4.
And the only way to victory against our enemy, satan is by our faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ. “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world–our faith,” 1 John 5:4.
And He has given everything we need to overcome the wicked attacks of the enemy, His authority (See Luke 10:19), His supernatural power, unconditional love, and the mind of Christ (See 2 Timothy 1:7), His resurrection power (see Romans 8:11), the power of faith (see Hebrews 11:1), the supernatural strength in joy (see Nehemiah 8:10b), and life and healing in His Word (Proverbs 4:20-22), and so much more.
Be confident and speak the truth that you are victorious in Christ, and no matter what comes your way you’ll fight the good fight of faith and complete the race as one who knows they are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, see Revelation 12:11.
Let’s pray.
Thank You, Father God that by the power of the blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ I have been redeemed from my enemy, the devil. I have much to be thankful for. I thank You, that with You and by You I am victoriously redeemed from the wicked works of satan. Help me to remember the power of Redemption when life gets hard to live. In Your name, I pray, amen.

Thank you Becky for this reminder that our warfare is not carnal, that our weapons are mighty in the Spirit in casting down strongholds of the enemy. I have been battling stiffness in my left hand for more than 3 months and refuse to capitulate my faith in the healing power of Jesus’ shed blood. It will be renewed in Jesus name!

I stand in faith and agreement with you, Bertus for your manifested healing as God has promised. In the name of Jesus, I renounce this stiffness in your left hand and release the healing power of Holy Spirit to loosen all tightness and stiffness. I declare your hand moves freely and without discomfort, and functions perfectly normal. All according to God’s promises and for His glory, amen.

This is such an important message.
Thank you. I know that God has sent an angel at least once to save me from 5 dogs, while l was running a road. 2 of which were big. That’s a story for another time. So many battles against us + sudden attacks, but God has kept me protected even when it was meant to ruin my life. I am getting much better at fighting and being aware & that’s because of all you are teaching us and your encouragement. Appreciate all you do.😃
