I realize that on a whole, the Church is not what she use to be. She use to be spiritually fit, and the world respected her for it. She was full of strength, and outsiders could count on her in times of trouble. But now the majority are spiritually weak, physically sick, and lack the basic faith to believe. Although many have fallen in their faith, you can rise above the hypocrisy and doubt. Believe it or not, you can learn to have faith and believe again.

It all starts with a sincere desire and a prayer to Him for His help to find your way. He is for you and not against you. He wills to lead and guide you into all truth. He wants you to be healthy in spirit, soul, and in body, not just for yourself, but also to help bring others into the Kingdom of God. This is our true purpose to be about our heavenly Father’s business, and win souls.

If your heart is right with God, then this is important to you. But how can your witness shine in the midst of darkness if you yourself are dull in spirit? You’ve allowed your spiritual battery to run low, and lost your power, your faith to believe. And because of this you and those around you are suffering, and suffering beyond measure.

Is this what you want for yourself? I don’t think so. I believe you are reading this, because you desire to believe again. Remember, it starts with a sincere desire from your heart, and a prayer to Him for help. Let’s pray.

“Father God, I repent for my spiritual slothfulness. It has caused the enemy, satan to strike out with disaster of all types in my life, and in the life of my family. I ask you to forgive me for my unfaithfulness to You and my disobedience to Your ways. Holy Spirit, I have lost my spiritual vigor, but I ask You now to help me to find it again, and  lead me and guide me into all truth, that Your power will shine through me, and draw others to You. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.”
