Can I Minister Healing Too?

Yes, you can minister healing too. In fact, the Great Commission in Mark tells us that if we believe we will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. All believers in Jesus Christ, including you can minister healing to the sick.

Mark 16:14-18 — The Great Commission

Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” NKJV

Know the Basic Signs of the Last Days

Anyone with a discerning eye can see that we are in the beginning of the end. But even so, the enemy is working hard to add confusion and fear to the times that are upon us. Do you know the basic signs of the times for these last days? In Matthew 24 Jesus teaches His disciples and us how to recognize the signs of His coming and the end of the age.

Jesus first cautions us not to be deceived. He says that many false Christs will arise and lead many astray. And Paul also warns us in 2 Tim. 3:13, “But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” If someone declares they are the Christ on this earth, be secure in the truth that they are not. Even if they perform great signs and wonders, they are not. Why? According to the Word in Titus 2:13, He will not appear to us on the earth, but He will appear to us in the clouds, and be caught up with Him, along with our fellow believers. “Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,” Titus 2:13. Again Rev. 1:7 confirms the way He will come to us on that great and glorious day, Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. And we, who are alive will shed this earth suit and be supernaturally changed. 1 Cor. 15: 50-53 explains it like this, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—  in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Next, our Lord encourages us not to be afraid because there will be wars and rumors of wars, and explains that these things must take place, but the end is not yet. Wars and rumors of wars are frightful events, but God promises us in Isa. 41:10, Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”

He continues to speak to us about the political arena and says that nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. He reveals to us that there will be disasters in various places such as famines and earthquakes. And makes it plain that these are not the final signs, but the beginning of birth pangs.

The world will be in chaos, and its inhabitants will be insecure not knowing how to meet their daily needs, but we have security in God’s Word that promises us that if we seek first His kingdom and all of His righteousness then all these things that we have need of will be met. Matt. 6:31-33 says, Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Did he not provide for the Israelites when they wandered in the desert for 40 years? According to the Scriptures God graciously provided for their daily needs. He supplied His people with water from the rock, see Ex. 17:5-7, it rained down manna daily, see Ex. 16:4, they had fresh meat, see Ex. 16:13, and their shoes and clothes did not wear out, see Deut. 29:5.

He then discusses with them about the individual who calls him or herself  a follower of Jesus Christ.  “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.”

Let’s face it, this is a very serious matter that will take every ounce of faith to overcome the temptation to recant our faith. Jesus understands this temptation all too well. In the Garden of Gethsemane He is so afraid of the torture that He is to endure for you and for me that He starts to sweat great drops of blood. He  cries out to His Heavenly Father to come up with another plan, to remove Him from this situation. Heb. 4:15 confirms this point, it says “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”. He overcomes the power of the human will to run away from His destiny, to be selfish and to turn away from our need, to allow fear, doubt, and unbelief to control His actions, and finally surrenders to His Father’s will and lays down His life for us. Matt. 26:39 in the New King James Version of the Bible reads, “He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

He tells us that many false prophets will rise and lead many people away from God. And Peter also warns us in 2 Pet. 2:1-3, But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.”

Women especially tend to be led astray by their emotions. The Bible warns us not to be gullible in 2 Tim. 3:5-7, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Women, we are not to be naïve, but wise. No matter how godly, how charismatic, how charming or how appealing the one with the message may seem, we are responsible to try the spirits and judge the message against the Word of God.

Not everyone will have to confront the possibility of being martyred for their faith, but we will all face some sort of tribulation and be hated because of our faith in Jesus. He says that during this stage of the Last Days that many will fall away, and they will betray and hate one another. And because of the increase in lawlessness that most people’s love will grow cold. But He makes it clear, “But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.” See Matt. 24:13.

And this portion of Scripture closes with Jesus declaring “This gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” See Matt. 24:14.

And just to clear up a matter of confusion, can the date of Jesus’ return be predicted? According to the Scriptures the answer is no. It states in Matt. 24:36, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” So the next time you hear someone has figured out the exact date of Jesus’ return you know not to listen to them. Only the Father knows the exact date and time, but as we read in Matt. 24:3-15 God does want us to be aware of the season and clearly gives us the signs to look for.

I encourage you to open up the Word of God, start with Matthew 24 and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand the basic teachings concerning the End-Times. He is faithful and true and wants you to know and recognize the basic signs of the Last Days.

Prayer for Healing

Pray for One AnotherDear Heavenly Father,

I thank You for revealing the truth to my friends concerning the different strongholds that the enemy has had that have prevented their healings from coming forth.

In Jesus’ name, I renounce you, satan, and all of your tactics against these people. I rebuke a spirit of infirmity, a spirit of fear, a spirit of death, and any other hindering spirit that is controlling their lives.

Right now, my friends, I release the power of that same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Life. I release His healing power to flow into your bodies in Jesus’ name. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. I command your bodies to line up to the Word of God, and I boldly declare that by His stripes you are healed. I command all pain and all swelling to cease, all broken, sprained or strained body parts to be whole in Jesus’ name. I speak into existence new blood, new cells, new organs, and new systems. I declare that this newly created body works together in harmony to produce life and life in abundance.

I renounce every negative report that stands in contrary to the Word of God. I speak life and strength to dead and weak body parts, knowing that with my God all things are possible. I rebuke the spirit of doubt and unbelief from whispering lies into your ears, and I command every lying tongue (whether human or spirit) to be silenced against you, my friend, in Jesus’ name. I release the Spirit of Peace, Love, and Joy to enter into your domain. Lord, I give You praise and honor as my friends fulfill their destiny that You created them for.

In Jesus’ name, amen.

A Lean-To Or A Pillar?

Are you a lean-to or a pillar of faith? A lean-to is a structure, such a shed or an outbuilding, that has a single slope with its upper edge adjoining a wall or a building. It gains its ability to stand from another structure, whereas, a pillar is a firm upright support for a superstructure. It is strong and able to support another without collapsing under the weight of the load.

In the book of Genesis we have spiritual examples of both types of structures. Lot is an example of a spiritual lean-to, his ability to stand came from his uncle Abraham. Abraham gained his supernatural strength from God and therefore, he became a pillar and was able to stand on his own and support his nephew, Lot. But, when they separated and went their own ways, Lot lost his support and became weak. He lost his daughters to a sinful lifestyle of the time, and he lost his wife as well. But as we take note,  it was the pillar, Abraham, that came back and rescued Lot from total destruction.

Because Lean-to Lot, did not have the proper framework to stand, when he went out on his own he and his family fell into ruins. Today, many Christian families fell or are falling into the same destruction, because there is only one strong faith structure in the family. And when the kids go out into the world, they often fall because they were brought up to be lean-tos and not pillars of faith.

In the beginning of our faith journey we need to lean on the support of the pillars, but we are not meant to remain as spiritual lean-tos.  We are to strengthen our own  faith and become pillars. So that, we can become part of God’s work-force and enhance the kingdom of God on this earth.

Abraham was a pillar because he was a man of faith. And he became a man of faith because he had a personal relationship with God. He was actually called a “friend of God”.  In James 2:23 it says of Abraham, “and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “And Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness,” and he was called the friend of God.

We need to teach our children and babes in- the- faith to develop their own personal relationship with the Lord. So, they too can stand firm in the times that lay ahead.

And we also need to concentrate our efforts in fortifying these weak structures, so they can become pillars. Instruct the people how to walk by faith, and not by sight, as Abraham learned to do.

Romans 4: 19-22 says of Abraham “Without becoming weak in faith he contemplated his own body, now as good as dead since he was about a hundred years old, and the deadness of Sarah’s womb; yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform. Therefore it was also credited to him as righteousness.”

This type of faith only develops by deep relationship with the Lord and His Word. And because of his close fellowship with Him he was able to work out his faith to the glory of the Lord. He became a pillar and we can too.

A Tsunami Wave of Healing Has Arrived

In a vision the Lord showed me a Tsunami wave of  supernatural healing hitting the Western World. He said “No longer will people say, “Why doesn’t divine healing manifest in the US and other parts of the Western World?””

A wave of divine healing is overtaking the West. Expect to get wet!

But along with this wave will be a strong undertow of unbelief that will try to pull you away. Don’t allow satan the liberty to pull you under. Rise to the top and believe.

This wave is different than before. It won’t be in isolated locations with pockets of people receiving. This wave will manifest in all places, and to all people.

Ministers of Healing are rising to the top of this wave. Not only will we minister healing, but we will equip the Body of Christ how to ride this wave.

The blind see, the deaf  hear, the mute speak, the paralytics walk, incurable diseases are healed and the dead rise. And unusual types of miracles are also in this wave, and it has arrived to the Western shores.

Don’t be afraid of this Living Water. It’s what you have been waiting for. This powerful Tsunami wave overtakes and heals all that are willing to step in and get wet.

The Lord says “Be willing to get wet!”

Be a Witness

The other day I was sitting on a plane that was returning to the gate because it was too heavy to lift off the ground. The airline company was asking for volunteers to de-board the plane and take the next flight that evening to Guatemala instead. Five of us volunteered. We were well compensated for any inconvenience.  I was to find out that God had a much broader plan in mind than just a mere $800 voucher for my next trip. I was about to have lunch with Jesus and a few other guests, and I was being asked to be a witness.

There was an older man in the group, named Santi who was loud, offensive, controlling and obviously very angry with God.  I had to fine-tune my spiritual ears to hear above his rough speech and listen to his underlying message.  I gave him permission to share his opinions and I said that I would listen to him.

He said he had visited many denominations in his lifetime and basically was turned off by the hypocrisy that he saw. He claimed he read the Bible once all-the- way- through about 30 years ago, and tried to persuade me that it wasn’t true.  He knew a little bit of Church history and was well versed in its fallen leaders, but clearly had no understanding of the Scriptures. He would ask me questions, but really didn’t want me to answer him, but I did anyways. He would mock everything I said, except for my testimonies. My testimonies silenced his critical tongue and made him extremely uncomfortable, but after a while he turned to me and said about my testimonies, “That’s true faith.”

A young woman, named Katherine in her early twenties was with us, and she shared that she was raised in the Church, but was hurt by the Church as a child and said she was agnostic.  As I listened to her I felt I should apologize on behalf of the Church for her pain, and I did. As she listened to Santi and I share our beliefs this agnostic young woman was verbally agreeing with me and said, “I too believe in a triune God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” She admitted that she was searching.

The other woman in the group was named Elizabeth and confessed that she believed in Jesus, but believed it was best not to talk about “religion”, but she interrupted Santi several times and disagreed with his unbelief. She made it very clear that she believed in Jesus.

I’m not offended by Santi’s harsh words. The truth of the matter is that he is not against me, but against Jesus in me, and he detests the hypocrisy that he sees within the Church. In all honesty, I can look beyond his arrogant nature and see with my spiritual eyes a hurting and lost man that needs the love of God.

I made it very clear that I was not a believer in religion, but a believer in relationship with Jesus Christ. God created us with a free will to follow Him or to deny Him. There is a heaven and a hell, and those that choose to deny Him will go to hell.

So, I pray for Santi and Katherine that both will surrender and give all their hurt and bitterness to Jesus in exchange for healing and peace and everlasting life with Jesus Christ in heaven. And that Elizabeth will learn to speak up and share her faith in Jesus, and be a witness to those around her. Amen.
