A Prayer of Faith for Your Soul During Election Chaos

With so much stress during this election chaos I want to share with you a prayer of faith for your soul. As I said, this is a prayer of faith for your soul (your mind and emotions), but before praying I want to share a little from my heart about all of this.

First of all, it is normal for you to feel the stress of the times that we are all passing through. As we are witnessing the people of this earth in turmoil as government control is out of control. It is invading our liberty, our freewill, our personal space and daily choices. We have been lied to and manipulated. Our daily pace has been forever altered with fear tactics and lockdowns, and in some places total shutdowns. And people are stressed and wearied and discouraged–especially during this election chaos.

But even in the midst of all of this distress, there is hope for our soul–inner healing for our mind and emotions. Let’s pray.

Father God,

We come before You, and by faith we lay down the heaviness of this election chaos, and all fear and uncertainty that is rising against our mind and emotions. We know that we are created to be creatures of faith and not fear, but we confess our weakness to remain strong in the midst of such uncertainty, You have prewarned us in Your word that in this world we would pass through tribulations (difficult times), see John 10:10. And a great season of tribulation is upon us, but as Your ambassadors in the midst of a lost world, we choose the higher road and keep our eyes fixed upon You. We thank You that You are the same yesterday, today and forever, see Hebrews 13:8. You never change, see Malachi 3:6, and we cling to Your stability–knowing that You are our Chief Cornerstone, Psalm 118:22, and because of You and our life in Your Word our foundation of faith remains strong. We thank You, that even during tough times our hope, our faith, our strength is in You. And in all of these promises we remain steadfast, therefore this inner healing that we all need right now can freely flow through our mind and emotions and heal us.

In Your most precious name we pray, amen and amen.

I suggest praying this over yourself aloud, so you can hear your own voice declare God’s promises in this prayer of faith for inner healing for your soul during election chaos.

The Fire and Glory of God Fall Down Upon Us for Redemption

While spending quiet time in the presence of the Lord, I heard the rustle of the onion paper in my Bible flip a page, so I looked over to it and read Second Chronicles 7:3. And I pray, just as it was in the days of King Solomon, “When all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed their faces to the ground on the pavement, and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying; ‘For He is good, For His mercy endures forever.'” I pray this over our nation, that as the Church repents, the Lost will see the fire of God fall down upon us, and His glory surround us, and they too will fall to their knees with their faces to the ground and humbly surrender themselves to our Lord and King–Jesus Christ.

This leads me to two important questions. What fuels this fire and glory? God’s goodness and His mercy towards His people. And how do we access His goodness and mercy over our nation? First Chronicles 7:14 tells us how, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

As we can see this promise to forgive our sin and heal our land is conditional. As God’s people are we willing to meet His conditions to humble ourselves, and pray and seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways? The responsibility lies within us, but so too is the answer. There is only one way to Salvation–through the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ. But if we, God’s people refuse to live according to God’s ways, how can they? According to the Word of God, we are the salt of the earth. (See Matthew 5:13.) Just like salt enhances the flavor of food, so too are we to enhance the flavor of God’s goodness and mercy upon this earth. There isn’t anything more appealing to the spiritual appetite of the Lost than a Christian who truly walks with God, and lives according to His ways. We are called to be “Salty Christians”.

So are you willing to do whatever it takes to bring down the fire and the glory of God upon us, and cause the Lost to desire this great Redemption? I pray so.

Your Level of Love Affects Your Healing

Your level of love affects your healing. Are you aware of this spiritual fact? Your enemy, satan is, and he will make sure to cause chaos and division around you to keep you from walking in love and partaking of it’s God-given power in your life. Check your love-level.

Love is the greatest of all gifts and the most powerful fruit we can partake of. It empowers faith. Without love we cannot effectively release faith for the miraculous. Throughout the gospels we see that love motivates every miracle Jesus performs. He loves people unconditionally and puts the needs of others before Himself. Even when they beat, mock, and crucify Him, He still loves and forgives them. And because of His unconditional love His supernatural resurrection happens and the miraculous still takes place today.

Paul teaches us in Galatians 5:6, “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love” (NIV). Faith is not activated by legalism or by religious acts but by love alone. The Amplified version of the Bible puts it this way, “For [if we are] in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but only faith activated and expressed and working through love” (AMP).

God’s definition and checklist of love are recorded in First Corinthians 13:4-8, “Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.”

Examine your heart. Is there any characteristic on love’s checklist above that you need to work on? Remember, these attributes of love activate, energize, express, and work our faith for the miraculous. If you lack in the area of love, your faith is weak and ineffective. So strengthen your love today because faith operates by love. Your love level affects your ability to receive or release His healing power.

Protection from Plagues

With the outbreak of plagues and pandemics, we, as true followers of Messiah–Jesus Christ need to remember that we have protection from plagues.

Looking back into history, we read about how Moses and the Israelites were protected from the ten plagues that fell upon Pharaoh and the Egyptians. (Read Exodus 7 through 12.)

After reading the account of these horrific plagues, there are a few points that stand out to me more than others. First, God gave warning to the rebellious pharaoh and to the Egyptians what was going to come upon them if they did not heed Him. Second, even though God’s people were living in the midst of the plagues and pestilences, He provided a plan of protection for His people.

Let’s zero in on the tenth plague; this is where the spirit of death was to take the life of the firstborn from every household unless they painted the two doorposts of their home with the blood of a lamb.

For I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgement; I am the Lord. Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt (Exodus 12:12-13).

How appropriate and prophetic is this portion of Scripture for us today. Because we live under a new covenant, we no longer have to slaughter a lamb and paint our doorposts with its blood for protection. Jesus is our sacrificial lamb, and by His shed blood we are redeemed from this spirit of death that will try to steal, to kill, and to destroy us.

We have a promise to stand upon, “No harm befalls the righteous, but the wicked are filled with trouble” (Prov. 12:21 NASB). As with every other promise of God, we need to know how to activate the power of the promise. In this case, this promise is for the righteous, or those who are justified or vindicated by God. Today, the only way we can be justified or vindicated by God is through the atonement of Jesus Christ.

We need to make this point clear–just because Jesus shed His blood for us already for our redemption does not mean we do not have a part to play in our protection against plagues and pestilences. The opposite is true. We are responsible to activate the power of the blood in our lives.

Following the Voice of Hope

Following the voice of hope is not the way of the world, but it is the supernatural design of God for His children. Are we listening for His voice? And are we following after His ways? Let’s take a few moments to reflect on this excerpt from my latest book, “Conquering the Spirit of Death.” Are we following the voice of hope?

Do you realize that we have the life of God within us? We have His DNA, His very nature, His miracle-working ability deep inside of us. We are created by His seed, and it’s only natural for us to live and overcome the powers of death.

Spiritually speaking it’s unnatural for us to be filled with sickness and disease and to desire to stop living, or to end the life of another—that’s the carnal nature, the old self resurrecting and dominating who we really are. We are actually spirit beings filled with the breath of God, housed in human bodies while on this earth.

We are not created for mere existence, but are destined for His greatness to multiply and fill this earth with His goodness and grace, life and healing, creativity and beauty wherever we go.

It is not the will of God that His life in us is overshadowed by the spirit of death. We are created to be overcomers in every area of life, not to concede to the darkness of our enemy—the devil and his wickedness.

It’s time for each of us to become who we really are created to be—overcomers, life-givers, a generation of hope that spreads the Good News of salvation to a darkened and dimmed world that is crying out, “Give us hope!”

Spiritual Readiness List for End Times

I have comprised for you a spiritual readiness list for end times. I pray that you take to heart what it says and actually prepare yourselves for any type of persecution that we may encounter before we are raptured up to be with our Lord.

The Last Days

I believe that we are living in the last days, and that the return of Jesus Christ is soon. I do not believe that anyone can predict the date of Christ’s return, because it says in Matthew 24:36, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” But God does want us to be ready and teaches us the signs of the end-times in Matthew 24: 3-15. And Jesus says to us, “Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work.” (See Rev. 22:12.)

I look forward to the great and glorious day when we will see Him appear in the clouds, and be caught up with Him, along with our fellow believers, (see Titus 2:13), but until then I plan on being about our heavenly Father’s business and invite as many as will come. (See Prov. 11:30.)

IF you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9.

List for Spiritual Preparedness

Is Jesus Christ your Savior?
Have you made Jesus Christ your Lord?
Develop personal relationship with Father, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit.
Get baptized in the power of Holy Spirit.
Read and study the Bible on a consistent basis.
Pray more than you have ever prayed before.
Forgive those that have wronged you.
Tell the people in your arena of influence that they need to get right with the Lord. And disciple them in the Word of God.
Minister healing to those around you.

You Live in What You Say

You live in what you say. This is exactly what our Lord Jesus tells us in Mark 11:23 “You will have what you say”. “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.” So the question for this hour that we should ask of ourselves is, “What have I been saying over myself, my family, my job, my ministry, my present situation, or even my nation?” Obviously, according to God our words carry a lot of weight. They are the foundational factors in what’s going on around us.

If you have been speaking negative over your health, your body is going to bow to the authority of your words and obey them. If you continue to say that you are sick and tired–you will be sick and tired. If you tap into this revelation about the power of your words and begin to speak the way God would have you to speak over your physical body and bless it with God’s healing promises–your body will begin to transform into the description of those faith-filled words of the Lord.

How do you do this? Say for example you are going out for a morning walk, you would begin to quote aloud so you can hear yourself speak, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:31). And take and personalize this portion of Scripture over your physical body. Here’s how, “I love and serve You, Lord with my life, therefore, my strength is renewed like that of a strong eagle. I can run and not be weary, and I can walk and not faint.” And then add more Scriptures and personalize them over your physical body.

I am telling you God’s Word works! The more you speak His healing promises over your physical body the stronger and healthier it becomes.

Let’s turn to a confession of faith that I have written out for you in my book, “The Prophetic and Healing Power of Your Words” in the opening of the book. And I am going to write out the third paragraph of this Confession of Faith to Wield the Tongue for you here. Begin to read this entire confession of faith and not just read it, but read it aloud so your mind and emotions hear you say this with your own voice, and allow God’s healing word transform your physical body too.

“I will not defile my body with negative speech and faithless words (Matthew 15:11), but will study God’s promises to know how to give faith-filled answers (Proverbs 15:28), utilize the power of pleasant words that are sweet to the soul and healing to the bones (Proverbs 16:24), I will meditate upon the Scriptures day and night (Joshua 1:8), so that I will prosper in all things and be in health (3 John 1:2).

Jesus says, we live in what we say, so let us begin to use the power of our words wisely and speak life, health and healing over our bodies.

Unbinding Ourselves From a Spirit of Death

Last week as I was recording my first 14 episodes of my own tv show, “Empowered for Healing and Miracles” for ISN (Sid Roth’s–It’s Supernatural!) channel, the Lord spoke something to my heart as I was recording one of the shows. He spoke to my heart, “Tell them to unbind themselves from a spirit of death.” And this is what I am going to share with you today, “Unbinding Ourselves From a Spirit of Death.”

I happened to be sharing a four part teaching series about how we raised our son from the dead. And on one particular recording I was teaching about how Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead. Let’s look at this portion of Scripture from John 11:38-44 “So Jesus, again being deeply moved within. came to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone was lying against it. Jesus said, “Remove the stone.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there will be a stench, for he has been dead four days. Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” So they removed the stone. Then Jesus raised His eyes, and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. I knew that You always hear Me; but because of the people standing around I said it, so that they may believe that You sent Me.” When He had said these things, He cried out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth.” The man who had died came forth, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Unbind him, and let him go.”

Let’s talk about this. The situation in the natural was beyond hope, Lazarus was dead for four days now, and his body was deteriorating quickly. But Jesus, in human form was activating His faith for the impossible. With the power of life and death in His words (see Proverbs 18:21) He cries out with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth.” And he came back from the dead. But you know what? He was stilled wrapped in the garment of death, and he needed to be loosed from this spirit of death. Jesus commands those around to activate their faith, “Unbind him, and let him go.” These are powerful words. He is instructing them to release him from the restraints of death. And we have to do the same with our loved ones. It isn’t enough to speak words of faith, but we must also back up those faith-filled words with action.

I am reminded of a time during our son’s amazing resurrection and recreation of dead body parts. When it came to his lungs, which had come up out of his nose in pieces with his blood and then he was declared dead, and now resurrected and major organs are being supernaturally recreated by faith.

After informing us that it was impossible for Marcos to live, said they were going to start pulling the breathing tubes out of him, and then we would know if his lungs were recreated or not. I remember responding in faith, “We already know, he is healed, and his lungs will breathe on their own.” Yes, the doctor responded with a negative reply, but we held onto our confession of faith. We didn’t fight the fact that we were just told, not asked that they were going to start pulling out his breathing tube. (It takes great faith to unwrap your loved ones from their grave clothes.) Even though, we were witnessing amazing and unexplainable events, being raised from the dead, breathing at first on his own with a heart and lungs that didn’t just stop, but exploded into pieces. And having to fight one death report after another day in and day out, with no other evidence of hope, but faith. And I am telling you, “Faith is the ONLY evidence you need for your miracle.” And often times it will be the only evidence you have.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, Hebrews 11:1. (NKJV).

Now, you will have many choices to make, one being–“Where will you place your faith?” Will you place your faith in your human reasoning or in your five senses? Or will your faith rest in the report of the Lord? You might be thinking to yourself, “Those are hard choices.” And yes, they may be, but faith doesn’t make things easy, it makes them possible.

Are you willing to unwrap yourself or your loved ones as Mary and Martha did from the grave clothes–that spirit of death that has them bound? They did and their loved one lived. We did, and our loved one lives. The choice is now yours to make. I strongly urge you to “Unbind ourselves from a spirit of death.”

The Tongue of Authority

The tongue of authority is vital to our well-being and yet, so often taken for granted and forgotten. But Holy Spirit is bringing this member of our body to our remembrance today. I woke up this morning to the following analogy flowing through my mind, and so I quickly got out of bed and headed off to my computer to write down these thoughts from Holy Spirit for us today.

You know, it is often the little things in life that make a big difference to so many. For example, let’s think about the tongue of a shoe. It may seem to be insignificant, and we often forget about it, but it really does make a huge impact on the people around the world. Think about it, it helps our feet to ease into that shoe, and it often holds two other small, but important things such as the eyelets that allows us to add another seemingly small item in life–the shoelace. And when we pull up on that shoelace it holds that shoe snug around our foot and makes that properly fitted shoe much more beneficial for us.

The Holy Spirit then led my thoughts to what’s inside of that shoe–the foot. And how feet in the Bible represent authority. Joshua 1:3 (NKJV) says, “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.” And how it’s the little member of our body–our tongue that causes this authority to be useful for us today. Proverbs 18:21 tells us in the Amplified Version of the Bible, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.“

With our tongue we are able to articulate our words. And our words possess supernatural power. And the message the Holy Spirit is leading us to is we the Church have been given all authority over satan and all of his wicked works. Luke 10:19 (AMP) explains it to us this way, “Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.” And this authority is voice activated. And we, the Church must activate our God-given authority and speak up–activate the tongue of authority throughout this earth starting with today–even now.

And those around us, including the ungodly need the Church to voice activate our authority with the supernatural use of our words. We need to take down the evil workings of the enemy, and release the results of faith and grace that have bestowed upon us.

Confession of Faith

“With the authority of Christ that we have bee given, we, the Church lift up our voice and put our enemy–that lying-tongued serpent of old in his place. And his place is below our feet. We create the atmosphere of faith and grace that healing and miracles can embrace. And every place we shall go we go in the authority of that all powerful name–Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, our Messiah.

No matter the time we are living in, the authority of our words have not lost their power, because the power of our words is based upon the redemptive blood of Christ. And our Lord and Savior is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and the power of the blood of Christ is eternal.

With the tongue of authority that we have been given, we voice activate our authority over pestilence and disease rising against us. We build a wall of protection with our words of faith and declare that no weapon formed against us will prosper in the name of Jesus. And with a fiery tongue we cleanse ourselves from deadly germs and bacteria. And with the sword of the Spirit and the shield of faith we say to that fallen angel–the devil, “Back off!” We are temples of Holy Spirit and we make no room in our inns for you and your wicked works against us.

We declare all this in the all powerful name of our Deliverer and Healer–Jesus Christ, amen and amen.”

Three Days of Prayer and Fast for the Repentance of the Church

Day #1 of a three day fast for the repentance of the Church. I woke up at 4 AM and decided it was a little too early to get up so I went back to sleep. And during this time the Lord gave me a graphic dream of the condition of the “Church”. She was in ruins, badly burned, and there was utter destruction all around. I saw pastors that I had known that had fallen trying to clean up the rubble, and their congregants eager to help. But it was very hard to know where to start–there was confusion as we were trying to make sense of all the rubble. I saw that I had a desk and shelves of books that were just placed in the midst of the rubble (they were not part of the destruction, but were placed in the midst of it all to help). And the only way I know to rebuild the Church (the true Church) is to start by a prayer of repentance, a time of fasting, and rebuilding our personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. I hope this helps you to move forward in your relationship with Him, during these very trying times.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land, 2 Chronicles 7:14.

What do God’s people need to do?

1. Humble ourselves.

2. Pray.

3. Seek His face.

4. Turn from our wicked ways.
