A Proper Faith Response

Okay, you have made a decision to activate faith for your physical healing. But it takes time for you to work out your faith. And you wonder, “How do I respond when people ask me how am I doing?” This response is not as complicated as you have worked it up to be.

According to Scripture, “By His stripes you were healed”, Isa. 53:4-5. It has already happened in the realm of the Spirit, but unbelievers do not understand this. Right? And they cannot because spiritual matters are spiritually discerned, they first need to be born-again to understand Kingdom principles. Even many Christians lack the know how to manifest the Kingdom of God happenings, miracles into the realm of earth.

So you find ourselves back to the original question, “How do I respond when people ask me how am I doing?” Holy Spirit knew you would need instruction about how to respond in faith to activate and keep our healing. He penned through the writings of the Apostle Paul in Romans 4:17 the answer, (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did.”

You are to respond as though the healing has already manifested in your physical body. Like this, “I am better now, I am stronger than I was yesterday, and in Jesus’ name, I am healed.”

Is this lying? No. It is Holy Spirit’s radical vocabulary of faith. And this is the only way in which He speaks to create a miracle. And He teaches you in Romans 4:17 how to create what you have need of by the power of your spoken words.

Know the Basic Signs of the Last Days

Anyone with a discerning eye can see that we are in the beginning of the end. But even so, the enemy is working hard to add confusion and fear to the times that are upon us. Do you know the basic signs of the times for these last days? In Matthew 24 Jesus teaches His disciples and us how to recognize the signs of His coming and the end of the age.

Jesus first cautions us not to be deceived. He says that many false Christs will arise and lead many astray. And Paul also warns us in 2 Tim. 3:13, “But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” If someone declares they are the Christ on this earth, be secure in the truth that they are not. Even if they perform great signs and wonders, they are not. Why? According to the Word in Titus 2:13, He will not appear to us on the earth, but He will appear to us in the clouds, and be caught up with Him, along with our fellow believers. “Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,” Titus 2:13. Again Rev. 1:7 confirms the way He will come to us on that great and glorious day, Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. And we, who are alive will shed this earth suit and be supernaturally changed. 1 Cor. 15: 50-53 explains it like this, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—  in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Next, our Lord encourages us not to be afraid because there will be wars and rumors of wars, and explains that these things must take place, but the end is not yet. Wars and rumors of wars are frightful events, but God promises us in Isa. 41:10, Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”

He continues to speak to us about the political arena and says that nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. He reveals to us that there will be disasters in various places such as famines and earthquakes. And makes it plain that these are not the final signs, but the beginning of birth pangs.

The world will be in chaos, and its inhabitants will be insecure not knowing how to meet their daily needs, but we have security in God’s Word that promises us that if we seek first His kingdom and all of His righteousness then all these things that we have need of will be met. Matt. 6:31-33 says, Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Did he not provide for the Israelites when they wandered in the desert for 40 years? According to the Scriptures God graciously provided for their daily needs. He supplied His people with water from the rock, see Ex. 17:5-7, it rained down manna daily, see Ex. 16:4, they had fresh meat, see Ex. 16:13, and their shoes and clothes did not wear out, see Deut. 29:5.

He then discusses with them about the individual who calls him or herself  a follower of Jesus Christ.  “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.”

Let’s face it, this is a very serious matter that will take every ounce of faith to overcome the temptation to recant our faith. Jesus understands this temptation all too well. In the Garden of Gethsemane He is so afraid of the torture that He is to endure for you and for me that He starts to sweat great drops of blood. He  cries out to His Heavenly Father to come up with another plan, to remove Him from this situation. Heb. 4:15 confirms this point, it says “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”. He overcomes the power of the human will to run away from His destiny, to be selfish and to turn away from our need, to allow fear, doubt, and unbelief to control His actions, and finally surrenders to His Father’s will and lays down His life for us. Matt. 26:39 in the New King James Version of the Bible reads, “He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

He tells us that many false prophets will rise and lead many people away from God. And Peter also warns us in 2 Pet. 2:1-3, But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.”

Women especially tend to be led astray by their emotions. The Bible warns us not to be gullible in 2 Tim. 3:5-7, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Women, we are not to be naïve, but wise. No matter how godly, how charismatic, how charming or how appealing the one with the message may seem, we are responsible to try the spirits and judge the message against the Word of God.

Not everyone will have to confront the possibility of being martyred for their faith, but we will all face some sort of tribulation and be hated because of our faith in Jesus. He says that during this stage of the Last Days that many will fall away, and they will betray and hate one another. And because of the increase in lawlessness that most people’s love will grow cold. But He makes it clear, “But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.” See Matt. 24:13.

And this portion of Scripture closes with Jesus declaring “This gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” See Matt. 24:14.

And just to clear up a matter of confusion, can the date of Jesus’ return be predicted? According to the Scriptures the answer is no. It states in Matt. 24:36, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” So the next time you hear someone has figured out the exact date of Jesus’ return you know not to listen to them. Only the Father knows the exact date and time, but as we read in Matt. 24:3-15 God does want us to be aware of the season and clearly gives us the signs to look for.

I encourage you to open up the Word of God, start with Matthew 24 and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand the basic teachings concerning the End-Times. He is faithful and true and wants you to know and recognize the basic signs of the Last Days.

Seek People of Faith

Do you need a miracle? Then it’s of utmost importance to seek out and surround yourself with people of faith. Why? According to 1 Corinthians 15:33 we are warned about the people we keep company with. It clearly states, “Do not be deceived, ‘Evil company corrupts good habits.'”

This word corrupts in Greek is phtheirō and it means to defile, destroy, deprave, G5351. This draws a pretty clear picture of what happens to our habits of faith when we do not align ourselves correctly with others of strong faith. Think about this for a while. When you align yourself with people of weak faith or people who are ignorant of the supernatural power of faith you allow them to defile your faith. The Merriam-Webster online definition of defile is to make impure or unclean. It also means to contaminate, which implies intrusion of or contact with dirt or foulness from an outside source. It describes deprave as to pervert or to pollute, and it describes destroy as to put an end to the existence of (something) by damaging or attacking it.

It’s worth the effort to search the real meaning of the words used in the Bible, and in this case you can see the seriousness of choosing the company you keep. The last thing you need when activating your faith for a miracle is to be surrounded by unbelieving people, including unbelieving believers. These types of people will put an end to the existence of your miracle by damaging or attacking your faith. They will contaminate your faith, make it impure or unclean with their doubt. You cannot afford to pollute your faith with their unbelief.

What did Jesus do when He encountered a room full of doubt? He kicked them out. He did not allow them to contaminate the spiritual atmosphere with their unbelief. Let’s read this testimony from Luke 8: 50-55, But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” When He came into the house, He permitted no one to go in except Peter, James, and John, and the father and mother of the girl. Now all wept and mourned for her; but He said, “Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.” And they ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead. But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying, “Little girl, arise.” Then her spirit returned, and she arose immediately. And He commanded that she be given something to eat.

Do you see the reason to seek and surround yourself with people of strong faith when you are in need of a miracle? Jesus was about to raise Jairus’ daughter from the dead, but the unbelievers ridiculed Him when He declared by faith that she was not dead, just asleep. He knew the destructive power of doubt being activated from the people. He made them leave and then the only supernatural force activated in that room was faith, and it over powered the spirit of death and released the Spirit of Life and the girl came back to life.

This is exactly what we had to do when we raised our son, Marcos from the dead. We had to purify the spiritual atmosphere from all doubt and unbelief, so that the supernatural power of our faith could override the spirit of death with the Spirit of Life, and he came back to life, and dead body parts were recreated for the glory of the Lord and for our good pleasure.

3 Steps to Pick Up the Pieces

God’s Word tells us that in this world we will have tribulation, see John 16:33. We will pass through difficult times, not because this is God’s will and plan for us, but because we live in a fallen world. But even during these very troubling times in life He promises to be with us. He says in Isaiah 43: 1-2, Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.

Some of you are thinking, “What about those that passed through literal floods and flames and even lost their lives because of it?” Where was God in all of this? Psalm 23:4 reveals to us just where He was, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.Even though these are very painful things for us to consider, God was with them. He did not abandon them, He remained faithful to them.

But for those of us that remain, how do we move forward after the storms of life hit us? Here are 3 basic steps to help pick up the pieces again.

  1. Choose life. Deuteronomy 30:19 says, “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” God didn’t tell us this would be easy, that’s why this is a choice. It is a decision to move forward and the first step that one must take is to live again, not just for yourself, but for the well being of your children and your children’s children. We need to choose life for the sake of others. You may be the very one that God uses to bring life and healing to another.
  2. Choose joy. This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it,” Psalm 118:24. Joy is a choice, and according to  Nehemiah 8:10 it is a supernatural strength. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.Sometimes people feel guilty to smile and laugh again, some believe that to happy again would dishonor the memory of their loved one, but if truth be told, your loved one that has passed on would want you to be happy again.
  3. Choose to trust. I believe this is one of the most difficult challenges for people that have suffered great loss. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us to Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.Feelings, human reasonings, and even demons try to convince us to remain in the present sorrow, and give up on life. But God desires to carry you through that dark valley and into His promised land.

A friend of mine who went through many challenges in life once said to me, “I will not could have, should have, or would have on myself today.” What was my friend declaring? That she had made the choice not to remain in the past sorrows, but to move forward, to choose life, not just for herself, but for the sake of her children and her children’s children, and to learn to trust again. Jesus will help you do the same.

Boldly Declare

When the attack of the enemy bears down hard and the reports shout death, I will not fear. I will put my trust in my God:

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Like Abraham, I too believe “in the presence of Him whom he believed–God, who gives life to the dead and calls those tings which do not exist as though they did”  (Rom. 4:17). I boldly declare His abundant life, healing power, and supernatural strength to overtake my body.

I bind myself to the power of the blood of Jesus to take down this illness, to heal me, to recreate this physical body of mine, to renew my strength. According to the healing words of Isiah 40:29-31, because I wait upon the Lord, I will mount up with wings like eagles, I will run and not be weary, I will walk and not faint, in Jesus’ name I declare, amen.

Release the Prayer of Faith

I recently prayed with a woman who suffered from kidney disease. They were very sick and did not function properly. I released the prayer of faith into her kidneys and commanded them to be healed and to function right in the name of Jesus. With tear-filled eyes she shared with me the next day that her kidneys were functioning and she was having to use the restroom all day. Glory to God. This is a wonderful testimony of what happens when two or more will agree together in the name of the Lord and release the healing power of the Holy Spirit with a prayer of faith.

Why am I sharing this and other testimonies with you? To build up your faith in the healing power of the Lord so that you can receive healing into your own body and then release it into others around you.

It is time to move forward in the healing power of the Holy Spirit and release those that are suffering from the wiles of the devil and usher them into the Kingdom of God. Time is very short and we do not have time to waste with words of unbelief and doubt. And while I am at it, let me tell you the truth, all your whining, crying and begging God does not move Him. Only faith is pleasing to God, and when you release prayers, words filled with faith you get His attention and because His word prophesies that faith can move mountains, so too your words of faith will cause those stubborn mountains of sickness and disease to move away from you as well.

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
 Matthew 17:20.

This means that you have a part to play in your healing. Jesus did His part when He shed His healing blood for you at the whipping post in Isaiah 53:4-5. Now, you are responsible to believe and activate your faith with your words and your actions.

Be brave and bold in the power of the blood, knowing that you possess healing power in your faith-filled words. Proverbs 18:21 tells us that there is the power of life and death in the words that we speak. Learn to pray in faith, speak words that line up with faith and cause those mountains of sickness and disease to fall for God’s glory and for your good pleasure.

Why the Conflict About Healing?

If Jesus tells us that by His stripes (whippings) we are healed, then why is there this conflict about healing in the Church today? This is a good question, a real conflict within the Body of Christ, and the Bible has the answers for us concerning healing. First of all, let me share with you part of the answer to this question that I gave on a radio interviewed yesterday about my latest book, The Healing Creed.

Before I do, it is important for you to understand why the interviewer had me on his radio program. He shared that he grew up in a denominational Church that taught the Bible, but purposefully left out the part about healing. But when he had read the Healing Creed he saw without a shadow of a doubt that healing is biblical and it is for today. He was very excited with this newfound revelation in his life and invited me to be a guest on his program so that others could learn about healing as well.

Now, first and foremost, the reason for this conflict is that a major part of the Church does not teach what the Scriptures have to say concerning supernatural healing. And just as it says in Hosea 4:6, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.” These are very serious words, but for the sake of this lesson I want to dig into the meanings of these words in the beginning of this verse. God says His people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. In Hebrew this word destroyed means to perish (damahStrong’s H1820).  And the verse goes on to say that they have rejected knowledge. This word rejected in Hebrew means to despise, refuse, reject, abhor, to become loathsome, (Strong’s H3988 – ma’ac). And what is this knowledge that God’s own people have despised, refused, rejected, abhorred and become loathsome towards? The Word of God, God’s law written down for us in the Holy Bible.

I ask you to take time and consider what has the Body of Christ become in these last days? A bunch of stiff-necked, rebellious children who no longer respect their heavenly father, who dishonor His word, and devalue the blood of Jesus. And because many of our leaders have forgotten the true purpose of their callings, and have abandoned the Word of God, and instead give a weekly pep talk, many of God’s people are perishing in spirit, soul, and in the physical body, and many families are being destroyed because of this impartation of human knowledge, instead of God’s life changing wisdom from His Word.

Like the radio interviewer shared he was raised in a Baptist Church and was never taught the truth in the Scriptures about God’s will to heal His people today. I am not getting down on the Baptist Church, they have done a tremendous work for the Kingdom of God, but they have missed it in this area of the power of the Holy Spirit to heal and set His people free. But truth sets people free, and when this Baptist man read the Scriptures concerning healing so much hope rose up within him for his own healing, and the healing of others around him. His wife is reading the Healing Creed now. And he ordered the book for a dear Christian friend, who in the natural is dying from cancer. Because he wants her to know she doesn’t have to die, but can believe God to heal her body and he wants her to understand what it means to believe, and how to activate faith in God for her healing.

A few weeks ago, I was ministering healing at a seminar in an Episcopal Church. At first, the priest was not so keen on the idea of me coming in, but because his people wanted me to come he invited me to come and teach them. And like the other man mentioned above, he was not taught the truth in the Scriptures that God wills to heal His people today, but when I presented the Word this priest could not deny the truth. And then when he witnessed people being delivered, healed, baptized in the Holy Spirit he jumped on board with the Lord and said, “Yes, this is real truth, and it is for today!” And he already signed up for another healing seminar in the Episcopal Church next year.

If we will teach the healing word of God from the pulpit once again, God’s people will not perish and die, but live, and live in God’s abundance like He intended for us to live.

John 10:10 records Jesus’ words, The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. The thief Jesus is referring to here is satan. And the devil is bent on our destruction, and he uses his mass weapons of destruction, sickness and disease to steal, to kill and to destroy us. But Jesus, Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals us, gave to us the power to heal in spirit, soul and in our physical bodies when He shed His precious blood for us at the whipping post in Isaiah 53:4-5. Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.

Let’s end this conflict and teach and demonstrate the true power of the Word of God from the pulpit today.

Shine Your Light into the Darkness

Like you, my spirit is grieved with the evil that took place this weekend in Charlottesville, VA in regards to the demonic demonstration of hate and violence of the white supremacists, neo-Nazis and the KKK. Its times like these that it is difficult to find words to express the absolute disgust I have for satan and all of his wicked works against the human race. But I know, as Christians, we must rally together in the name of the Lord, take a stand, pray for a sovereign move of the Spirit and speak up.

I read in the Book of Revelations 6: 3-4 where it says concerning the last days, “And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.” I am reading these passages from the Scriptures, seeing these prophecies coming to pass, knowing that hate will be increasing, and the world will be growing darker spiritually. And yet, finding myself asking Father God, “What do we do?”

And what I continue to hear Him say to us is to shine our light into the darkness. Be not afraid of what they may say or what they may do to the physical body, but to be more concerned for the salvation of others. We are to be mindful of the times, fully aware of the lateness of the hour in these last days. Speak the truth, not from a heart filled with bitterness and revenge, but speak it in love, and remember vengeance belongs to the Lord. We are not to bend to the sinful ways of the world, but bear the light of truth found in God’s Word.

Those with a mature ear will hear and know that our weapons are not carnal, but they are mighty for the pulling down of strongholds. Many will bow before the throne of grace and start to intercede for the human race while there is still time. Pray for those that are willing to go into this horrific dark corner of hate and release a mighty move of the Spirit of repentance and redemption.

Be not overpowered by the enemy’s offer of hate, reject the wickedness upon his plate, and instead reinstate the full power of the Father’s love.

Retina and Sinuses Healed

I was sitting down speaking with one of the out-of-state guests at a recent healing seminar in Purcellville, VA. This woman came with various needs for healing. She began to tell me that she was a nurse and how sometimes it can stand in the way of supernatural healing, but she came with a need for a healing in her retina. It appeared she had a hole, tear, or detachment taking place in her retina. This caused her great concern as it can lead to blindness. She also had need for the healing of her sinus’.

She wrote me with excitement this evening to share the good reports from the other weekend’s healing seminar. She writes, “I just wanted to let you know what happened after you prayed and laid hands on my eyes. I went back to the eye specialist Dr … in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She stated the visceral detachment did NOT cause any retinal tears or detachment! She asked me to come back for a checkup in one year…the usual amount of time for a visceral detachment to heal is 3 months or more, mine started about 5weeks ago and did no further damage after you prayed for me. I was given an extensive eye exam and pronounced to have very good vision.

The next morning after you prayed for me I was awakened by a “crackling” noise in my sinuses!!! It sounded like someone was crumpling up a piece of newspaper, but the sound was in my sinuses. Then suddenly it was like a strong gust went through my sinuses and I could breathe like I never have before!

Imagine what it was like for her to wake up to what she thought was someone crumpling newspaper near her, only to realize it was the Holy Spirit recreating her sinuses, and feeling a gust of air blow through them and suddenly being able to breathe freely.

The verse that comes to my spirit immediately after reading this comes from 1 Corinthians 2:9 that declares, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

The natural man, the 5 senses, human reasoning and medical reports, no matter how brilliant, how accurate, or how sense-filled they may be cannot see and hear into the supernatural realm of God. It takes the eyes and ears of faith to believe when everything else tells us not to.

What an awesome healing testimony this is. Her retina and sinuses all healed at the same time. Look what faith in the right source can do. And in this case, the right source is in her Lord Jesus Christ that she loves, and in His promise to heal her.

Bipolarism and Healing

Is it too much for someone to believe for deliverance and healing from bipolarism and all of it’s symptoms? Jesus doesn’t think so, and neither do I. Listen to this man’s amazing testimony of how he is putting the message of The Healing Creed into practice and finding the peace that he so desires.
