Whose Report Will You Choose to Believe?

When faced with difficulties whose report will you choose to believe? Will you choose to believe the human report that states there is no hope when My word declares,  “Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10. Will you continue to degrade yourself with negative thoughts when you can see in  Psalm 139: 17-18,How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You.” Do you fear being alone when I impart my intentions concerning this matter to you,Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6. Will you trust My promise when I say, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Mark 19:26. Or will you continue to lean on your own understanding when I tell you not too. See Proverbs 3:5-6.

Life is filled with many choices, You can choose to trust or doubt Me. I give you the freedom to do so. But please remember, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. Isaiah 55:8. Do not confuse My ways with the enemy’s nature, “I make it plain when I say in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. And lastly, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” Jeremiah 31:3.

Church Leaders Need to Believe

You would be surprised how many Churches I have been to where I find that the leadership does not believe in the healing power of the Lord as they ought to. I find this disheartening. How can they teach their congregations to believe in God’s promises if they themselves do not?

James 5:14-16 tells us, Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.  And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

The people are to call for the elders so they can pray a prayer of faith over them and be healed. But more-times-then-not, the elders do not believe in healing for themselves, let alone for others. They have not taught themselves what the Word of God says concerning healing, the pastors are not teaching healing from the pulpits like they use to, and they don’t bother to bring in the teachers or healing evangelists to equip the people in God’s healing power, and oftentimes, the people are not encouraged to study the Word for themselves about healing. And therefore, many are sick and dying before their appointed time.

How can this situation be ratified?

There is godly criteria for choosing Church leadership. Let’s look at what it says in Acts 6:1-4 about finding the right people to fill the positions to wait on the people. Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution. Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

It was not God’s intent that the leaders do all the work of the ministry. They were to dedicate themselves to continual prayer and ministry of the word. Oftentimes, you will find that Church leadership nowadays spend very little time in either.  Two common reasons for this weakness are:

  1. The established Church has become all business and no ministry.
  2. Church leadership is elected for carnal reasons, rather then spiritual ones.

So, when the sick ask the elders of the Church to minister healing over them they are not spiritually equipped to do so, because they lack the faith to believe for healing.

As with the early Church it was so important that the ministry of helps was to meet a high standard of faith, how much more the elders should today? The 7 men they chose were to fulfill the following:

  1. They were to have a good reputation.
  2. Be full of the Holy Spirit.
  3. And be full of wisdom.

Too few Churches even consider the spiritual side when choosing people to serve the body of Christ, and the people suffer because of this. The elders are suppose to be able to pray a prayer of faith over the sick with healing results, but how can they do this when they themselves don’t believe.

The Church needs to revamp the way they select elders.

  1. They need to go back to the biblical basics and elect according to God’s guidelines.
  2. If their present leadership does not believe as they should they need to train them in, bring in the teachers and healing evangelists and equip their leadership to believe.
  3. If the leadership is unteachable, refuses to comply with the list of 3 spiritual requirements above, then they need to be replaced by others that will comply.

Church leadership, for the glory of our Lord, and for the well-being of the people need to believe in the healing power of the Lord.

Are We to Bear a Cross of Sickness?

Many people believe God has given them a “cross of infirmity or sickness” to bear. But is this kind of belief biblical? We read in the book of Mark about taking up a cross. Let’s read this portion of Scripture and see what it says.

When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.  For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.” Mark 8:34-35.

The definition of the phrase “take up his cross” in this Scripture is not referring to bearing sickness and disease in our physical bodies, but rather to self-denial of fleshly wants and desires in exchange for His will and plan for our lives.

This belief that God gives us a cross of infirmity to bear is a false doctrine. And it is a dangerous one too. It turns people away from believing in Him as Lord and Savior. He does not put sickness and disease in our bodies for any reason, especially not to teach us patience and endurance. Nor does He cause us to become sick so we can land in the hospital and testify of His glory to the other patients and to the medical staff. There is no glory in sickness, and it is a terrible witness to say this to people. To put it plainly, this type of belief is based upon our works to earn acceptance, rewards, salvation from our God. It devalues the plan of atonement that Jesus willing suffered to redeem us.

It certainly is true that when someone is very ill and facing death that they will cross-examine their lives and discover what is and is not important, and they start to get their lives in order. And in these situations people will start to talk to others about things most important to their hearts. But the fact remains the same: Goes does not put sickness and disease in our bodies. According to the Word of God, sickness is part of the curse, and God is not the source of the curse, but the solution for it.

Jesus Christ bore all sin, sickness and disease upon His own body so that we could be free form it while on this earth. Isaiah 53:4-5 shares with us what Jesus suffered so we could be forgiven and healed, Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” Salvation, which includes healing is God’s free gift to us. It is not won by works, good deeds, or by acts of suffering. Rather, deliverance and healing, like salvation are acquired by faith in Him alone.

Why the Enemy Tries to Steal Healing

It’s true the enemy, the devil will try to steal your healing if he can.In  John 10:10a, Jesus has this to say this about him, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.” Sometimes when people seem to lose their healings, it is not necessarily because of sin issues in their lives, but because satan is trying to steal their healing. He is trying to discredit their testimony. And he can if you let him.

He will go wholeheartedly after those who have been healed. Why? Because he fears the power of their living testimony. He knows that a shared healing testimony is a supernatural weapon against him and his darkness. He is fully aware of the lost souls at stake. He doesn’t want to lose those lost souls to Jesus. So, he tries to silence those who obtain their healing with weapons of taunting fear and doubt. He even puts physical symptoms back on those who were healed to see if they will bow to him and accept the sickness or disease back into their body. We must not allow him to do this to us.

In John 12:10-11, we read how after Lazarus was miraculously raised from the dead, satan moved through the chief priests to try and have him put to death because he feared his living testimony. The news of Lazarus being raised from the dead was spreading like wildfire, and many people were turning to Jesus because of it. The devil wanted to snuff out the flames.

And he is no different today, then he was back then. He is afraid of the impact that your living testimony will have on his kingdom of darkness. But we do not need to fear his attacks. According to 1 John 4:4 we have the Greater One living within us. And after we have received our healings we do not need to receive his lying symptoms back into our body.

How do you keep your healing?

  1. According to Revelation 12:11, we overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony. To keep our healing we need to testify of it, tell people about how the Lord healed us. This gives strength to the healing, and weakens the power of the enemy over us.
  2. We also need to live like we are healed. James 2:14-26 teaches us that faith without works is dead. And in the case of healing, we need to live like we are healed.
  3. The last, but not least point that I want to share in regards to keeping your healing, we need to overcome fear. The Bible is clear the thing we fear the most will come upon us, see Job 3:25. In my experience in the healing ministry, I have seen over and over again, that a spirit of fear precedes the spirit of death. Subdue fear, cast it far from you and live.

Change Satan’s Negative To God’s Positive

When the enemy says you can’t, profess that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. When your mind thinks this is impossible, verbalize the truth that with God all things are possible. And if the medical report reveals death, with faith insist I will not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. (Phil. 4:13, Matt. 19:26, PS. 118:17).

You see, our enemy, satan and even human knowledge and reasoning is bent on the negative against the wisdom and promise of God. When I hear the enemy whisper negative thoughts filled with fear and failure I know he’s the one who is afraid of the success of My God in my life. And even negative human knowledge and reasoning goes against the grain of my spirit. When I hear it its like someone scratching their fingernails down a chalkboard. It make me cringe, and from deep within me faith arises and rejects the negative lies, and declares the truth of God’s Word that produces positive changes into every situation.

What you may not have understood before is that as child of the King you possess supernatural power to change the negative report or situation into a positive witness that glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ.

What’s the first step to changing  the devil’s negative into God’s positive? Use the power of the spoken word and start to speak life into death,  bold success in place of fearful failure, instead of confessing that the situation is impossible, broadcast with words of faith, “I am possible!”

This is the first step to transform satan’s negative lie into Jesus’ positive promise.

Prophetic Warning: Before It’s Too Late

Dear Friends,

The following is a Word from the Lord given to me  9 / 22/ 2016 at 11:07 P.M. in Guatemala.

Do not fret, do not fear, for your redemption draws near.

The Helper is here, to help you steer clear of the enemy’s fear.

My holy angels have got you covered from the rear.

And My Word lights the pathway for this coming year.

Hate is the enemy’s bait,

And it opens hell’s gate at an accelerated rate.

And its fate won’t wait,

If you ate the fruit of the forbidden date.

I send My warning from above,

Stay under My covering of Love.

And the mighty protection of the Dove,

As the enemy will begin to push and shove.

He will act out the part of the aggressor,

Because He covets the place of the Successor.

He will try to reteach, like a professor,

But remember his ways are of the lesser.

My children need to prepare and get ready,

In order for their faith to remain steady.

The storm they are steering into is quite heavy,

Pray, as the branches are no longer leavy.

As we are now in the end of time,

And the fruit long since fell from the Vine.

And its seed is no longer Mine,

And the state of this earth is not fine.

Some think dominion is just a matter of mere opinion,

They are in error, as it is the way of My Kingdom.

Without it they miss their pinion,

And the enemy has stolen their dominion.

Take it back, and do not lack,

Overturn the hack.

Refill your spiritual sack,

And give that old enemy a whack.

I am coming soon,

The way of the wicked is doom.

My way is like a sweet perfume,

Open your mouth and declare a new tune.

Many of My people turned selfish and self-centered,

And because of this place they entered,

They are no longer able to be mentored.

They aligned themselves with the great tempter,

And Hell’s gate they will enter.

In the midst of this great battle,

Stay calm, and don’t be addled.

For the enemy will be upon the saddle,

As the earth  begins to rattle.

Do not grumble and mumble,

But be humble.

If you would please,

Get down upon your knees.

The heavens will rumble,

And you will see the enemy stumble.

And each of his fumbles,

Will be because you remain humble.

As we prepare to gather within Heaven’s gate,

And we sense the weight of the eternal fate,

Relate to those who now negate,

Before the time is too late.

Chronic Headaches Healed by Faith

On September 16, 2016, Ju Zhimomi from Nagaland, India sends the following prayer request, “I get sudden and severe unbearable headache from time to time. Please pray for me.”

I respond on September 19, 2016, “In Jesus’ name, lay your hand upon your spine. Right now, I command your spine to realign from the top of the spine down to the tip of the tail bone. I command damaged brain cells to be gone and new healthy brain cells to be recreated in Jesus’ name. We command the source of this to be healed and made whole. I renounce an accursed spirit of infirmities over you. You be free from headaches in Jesus’ name, amen.”

Ju quickly responds, “Amen, I receive healing in Jesus mighty name Amen.”

I message back, “Now, put your faith into action.

Ju writes back, “I am healed in Jesus mighty name Amen. Thank you for your prayers support. I believe that when a God fearing person pray for me, I will be healed, claiming it as written in the book of James.”

On September 22, 2016, Ju sends me the following message, “Thank you for your prayer support. I am healed in Jesus mighty name. I felt great today. God bless you and use you mightily for years to come.”

What Faith Steps Did Ju Take to Be Healed?

  1. She acknowledged Jesus as her healer.
  2. She reached out and made her request known for healing.
  3. She received by faith.
  4. Her healing then manifested.
  5. She was thankful for her healing.
  6. And she testified to others openly that she was healed in Jesus’ name.

If, you are suffering head pain from chronic headaches, you can be free today, just as Ju is.

What’s Paul’s Thorn In the Flesh?

“Becky, I’ve heard some Christians say that they are not healed, because “God has them right where he wants them.” One lady said that the Lord told her that she is to study and write about the end-times, and that she is to remain in pain with various problems, This belief that He has her right where He wants her goes against all that you seem to say in your teachings, and against Scripture. The Apostle Paul may be the only example that I can think of, but his problem was not necessarily a physical or mental issue. Can you please clarify this for me and other readers? Gail.”

Gail, this is a good topic of discussion, and one that is often misunderstood in the Christian Church. Let’s read this portion of Scripture found in 2 Corinthians 12:7-10.And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.  Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me.  And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

This phrase, “thorn in the flesh” is never used to represent sickness and disease. It always tells us exactly what it is in the context of the verse. In the passage above, Paul’s thorn in the flesh was a messenger of satan, a demonic spirit sent to buffet him. Buffet means “one attack after another”.

References to a thorn in the flesh, a thorn in the side, or thorns or irritants in the eye occur in several other places in Scripture as well. In each place, the passage makes clear who or what is being referred to. In Numbers 33:55, it is “the inhabitants of Canaan”; in Joshua 23:13, “the nations of their enemies”; and in 2 Samuel 23:6, “the sons of rebellion”. All of these are physical enemies, or in the case of 2 Corinthians 12, spiritual enemies. What they are not referring to is illness in any form.

Many people believe that God has given them a thorn in the flesh–by which they mean a sickness or disease intended to teach them patience and endurance and to draw them closer to God by the means of suffering. This is a works mentality, and hasn’t anything to do with the grace, the redemptive workings of Christ to redeem us from the curse. It is also a lie from satan. And this type of false belief causes these people and their loved ones to turn away from God. They blame Him for their suffering, and see Him as being cruel and unloving. And they do not want to follow after Him and His ways. And yet, we can see by viewing the above Scriptures, that the phrase a thorn in the flesh never was used in Scripture to refer to sickness and disease.

Is a Confession of Faith a Lie?

There is great confusion among believers in Christ as to whether or not a confession of faith is a lie. The ninth commandment tells us we are not to lie. Proverbs 12:22 plainly says. “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.” And a lying tongue is listed as one of the 7 sins God hates the most. “There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers” (Proverbs 6:16-19). From these 3 verses alone we can gather that lying is a serious sin, and God hates it, and we are to speak the truth.

But then we read verses such as Romans 4:17 that God says, “(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;” Proverbs 18:21 clearly teaches us,Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.Proverbs 12:18 reveals right type of words bring forth healing, “There is one whose rash words are like sword thrusts, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.”

This sets my mind to thinking that there is a huge spiritual difference in the way in which words are being spoken. Some say it is a lie to say, “By His stripes I am healed”, (Isa. 53:5) when they still have physical symptoms of sickness upon them. But, with the story of Abram, later changed to Abraham, he was to call those things that are not as though they already were. No longer was he to confess that he was fatherless with his barren wife, Sari, later changed to Sarah.

The words that one speaks are so vital, that God changes Abram’s name to Abraham. So now, every time he introduces himself, “Hi, I’m Abraham.” He is actually declaring to everyone he meets, “Hi, I’m the father of many nations.” Now, from a carnal perspective that would be telling a lie. His wife was barren. They were elderly. He had one son with his wife’s servant, Hagar. One son, with another woman other than his wife still does not make him a father of many nations.

And God also changed Sari’s name to Sarah, so she would start to declare that she would give birth to nations, kings, prominent people would come from her womb. This too with natural reasoning would be consider a lie. She didn’t even have one child, let alone be the mother of  nations and kings.

James 3: 1-11 warns about the power of the tongue, “My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.  Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.

See how great a forest a little fire kindles!  And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God.  Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.  Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening”

The power of the tongue either blesses or curses, creates or destroys ourselves, others, hopes, dreams, and future plans. So, what is a confession of faith for a healing or a miracle? Is it an arrogant lie? Is it a form of manipulation we use against God to try to get our way? No, it isn’t any of these explanations. What it is then?

A confession of faith for a healing or miracle is faith talk. It’s God’s form of speech. It’s supernatural vocabulary that produces what it declares. And it’s based on faith, and comes from the heart, it believes what it is saying. And I’ll take this deeper, and make it clearer. When we speak a confession of faith for a healing or miracle we are actually prophesying into the situation.

We read of this in Genesis 1: 3a, “And God said, Let there be light.” Another example of this is found in  Ezekiel 37:4, “Again he said unto me, Prophesy to these bones, and say unto them, O you dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.” Jesus prophesies in John 11:43, “And when He thus had spoken, He cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

What happened when God prophesied in Genesis 1:3? Light manifested. And this is what happened when Ezekiel prophesied to the dry bones, So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.” (Ezekiel. 37:7-8).  And when Jesus prophesied with a loud voice over Lazarus’ dead body it came back to life and walked out from the tomb.

We are not speaking out a lie when we declare a confession of faith for a healing or a miracle. We are activating the gift of prophesy. And according to 1 Corinthians 14:3, the purpose of prophesy is, But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men.

Today, make a quality decision that you will use the power of your words wisely, bless not curse yourself and others, create, build up, not destroy your body in the name of Jesus, and declare those things that are not as though they already are, “In Jesus’ name, I am healed.”

A Word of Restitution

While I was being introduced to a governor and his vice governor I heard the Spirit of the Lord speak into my ear a word for them. It was, “Restitution”. They both held back tears as I spoke this word and the others that flowed with them. God heard their petitions, and wanted them to know that He was moving on their behalf.

Restitution is the act of restoring to the rightful owner something, such as property or rights that have been taken away, lost, or surrendered.

Our enemy, satan, the thief who comes to steal, to kill and to destroy is working overtime against the body of Christ. (See John 10:10a.) Many of you reading this have received great blows from him recently. But regardless of his wicked schemes against you, the Lord wants to give you the following word of encouragement.

“The battle belongs to Me. I will not leave thee, nor forsake thee. Those precious gems that have been stolen from thee, will be restored. The enemy will bow on bended knee in shame before Me and thee, and he will give back unharmed and undamaged promises, visions, ministries, properties and rights that I have given to thee.

I have released troops of warring angels on your behalf. The reinforcements have already arrived on the front line of these battles. Your hour of restitution is at hand, and  it is being delivered by My righteous right hand.

Now is not the time for you to lay down your weapons in defeat. No, now is the time to stand to your feet. Put your armor back on. Pick up your shield of faith, boldly raise it up as I did My Son at Calvary. His blood is your banner of victory. Lift up His banner with your voice, and boldly declare your victory before the throne of My grace.

Many of you will receive your restitution within 3 days of reading this word , just as My Son restored you back to Me. Others will see the process of restitution begin within 3 days. I have spoken, and I have promised. Come before Me on bended knee and proclaim your victory in Me.” Thus says the Lord of Hosts.
