Favor With God

The story of the birth of Jesus continues in Luke 1: 28-30, “And coming in, he said to her, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.” But she was very perplexed at this statement, and kept pondering what kind of salutation this was. The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God.”

The angel Gabriel comes down to Earth, appears to a young virgin girl named Mary to deliver an astounding message from God in Heaven. The message that he has to give is so amazing, even the greeting itself is perplexing to the young girl. And its this greeting that we are going to look at today.

How would you react if the angel Gabriel suddenly appeared to you and said, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.”? And while you are trying to absorb what is happening he speaks again and say, “Do not be afraid, for you have found favor with God.” I would render to guess that most would be speechless.

Maybe you have not had Gabriel or any other angel appear to you, but did you know that you do have the unmerited favor of God upon you? This unmerited favor is called grace. And it is a free gift given to those who will simply believe and receive.

The Greek word for grace is Charis. And the Greek word for gift is Charisma. The root meaning of the word grace is gift.

It says in Ephesians 2:8-9 in the Amplified Version of the Bible, “For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]

This unmerited favor of God upon your life is what Christmas is all about. This is why God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth. To gift to you His grace, that was purchased for you by the redemptive work of Jesus at Calvary.

It says in John 3:16, “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.” AMP

A Little Girl Healed of 30+Warts

This is a wonderful testimony that I received today about a little 7 year old girl who dared to believe God to heal her hands and feet from over 30 warts.

Hi Becky,

I hope all is well for you and your family. I just wanted to give you an update. You prayed for my little girl at Transforming Life Church in Llyod, FL. She had 30+ warts all over her hands and feet. I am glad to say that the last one fell off a couple of days ago. Praise God! He is so good and worthy to be praised. I just wanted to thank you for everything you do and for being the willing vessel that you are. This has really encouraged my little Kaleah (7 yrs old) and she is praying and laying hands on others now and claiming healing in the name of Jesus. It makes my heart smile. Thanks again for you kind prayers and we will be praying for you guys as well.

What is so beautiful about this testimony is that this little girl was with her mother at a recent DARE to Believe Healing Service. The little girl heard the message that Jesus wants to heal us of all things. And her faith was stirred to come to the altar and ask for healing from all these many warts on her hands and feet.

I lay my hands on hers and cursed these growths and commanded them to dry up and to fall off. And then I gave her a faith assignment, every morning and evening as she was changing in and out of her pajamas I told her to lay her hands on these warts and speak to them and say, “Dry up and fall off in Jesus’ name!” She did and the 30+ warts dried up and fell off of her hands and feet. DARE to Believe.

Anoint a Prayer Cloth

Dear Becky,

My grandson, Alvin was admitted to the psychiatric ward today. He has been hearing voices that say they want to harm us. Please join your faith with mine for his deliverance.

Dear Grandma Susan,

Before you visit Alvin in the psychiatric ward, anoint a prayer cloth with oil. (A little dab of vegetable or olive oil will do.) Hold this prayer cloth in your hand and start to intercede for Alvin. In the name of Jesus, come against all demonic spirits that are attacking him. Take your authority over a spirit of fear, death, suicide, murder and all other harmful spirits that are manifesting through him. Command all lying spirits to be silent in Jesus’ name. Cast these wicked demons out of him.

In the New Testament, we read the story from Luke 8:26-39, of Jesus’ encounter with a demoniac, a man possessed with demons. Demons manifest in the presence of Jesus Christ. And by their actions they identify themselves.

In verse 27 it says that the man wore no clothes. Spiritually speaking the man was missing his spiritual covering, the glory of God. He was stripped of his identity. Then it goes on to say in the same verse that he lived in the tombs. The spiritual significance of this is that he is possessed with a spirit of death. In verse 28 we read how an unclean spirit (ungodly spirit) is begging Jesus to stop tormenting him. Demons cannot stand to be in the Lord’s presence. It drives them mad. And the demons throw the man on the ground in seizures, and drives him into the wilderness, away from the presence of God or human contact. A place of utter torment where they have total control of the human being who was created in the mirror image of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

In verse 20 we read how Jesus asked the demons to identify themselves. And they replied to His authority and identified themselves as Legion, meaning many demons. They begged and pleaded Jesus Christ not to send them into the abyss.

In cases of deliverance I have had the demons beg me not to send them to this place. And I have learned if the demons do not want to go there, it must be very bad. Now, I want to be very clear here, I do not play around or converse with demons, I use my authority in Jesus Christ and cast them out of the person immediately.

My reason for sharing this story of Jesus is to show you how to identify the demonic spirits attacking your grandson.

With the prayer cloth in hand, declare with the power of your faith-filled words Alvin’s freedom from all satanic power. Release the healing power of the Holy Spirit to manifest in Alvin’s spirit, soul and body. That he will become whole by the blood of Jesus that was shed for his deliverance.

Spend the time, and pray the perfect will of the Father over Alvin and pray in the Spirit.

Then go to Alvin and place the cloth on or near his body. You may need to place this cloth inside of his pillowcase, or under his mattress.

Ask the Father, to release His ministering angels around Alvin. And that they cry out, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty. Who was, Who is and Who is to come.” And other angels cry out the name of Jesus 24/7 over Alvin all the days of his life.

I know from experience that the enemy cannot stand to be in the presence of true worship of the Father.

Every deliverance is different, but as you put your faith into action, and anoint a prayer cloth and intercede for Alvin’s deliverance, you prepare the spiritual atmosphere and build your own faith for his complete deliverance. The Holy Spirit will show you how to walk though this deliverance. For now, anoint the prayer cloth, and intercede for Alvin’s complete deliverance.

Faith 101: Salvation

There is a real need to get back to the basics with our spirituality, so today I am going to write about Salvation. Let’s begin.

Many people have heard the famous verse from John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” If this verse is so familiar then why is there such confusion concerning salvation?

In this day and age, it appears that right is wrong and wrong is right, and with this “Everything is o.k.” attitude there is little understanding between the two. When we remove godly boundaries people get hurt. And family members suffer when we cross the lines of godly principles. And these sins of the fathers pass from one generation to another. And morality spirals in a downward direction away from God and His ways. But the Bible clearly states in Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”

There is a push in our society called, The Tolerance Movement that wrecks havoc throughout all levels of society, and it even infiltrates the Church. Under the false pretense of love and acceptance it confuses the hearts of people. It claims that all roads lead to salvation, but denies the one and only way to salvation, Jesus Christ. With its anti-Christ doctrine many are lost and on their way to hell. But why are they intolerant towards Jesus Christ? Because Jesus is the Light of the World, and His light exposes darkness or sin. John 3:19-20 says, “That the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.” They try to hide their sins as they deny Jesus Christ.

Jeremiah the prophet cries out in Jeremiah 2:11-13, 27-28. “Has a nation changed gods when they were not gods? But My people have changed their glory for that which does not profit.“Be appalled, O heavens, at this, and shudder, be very desolate,” declares the Lord. “For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, to hew for themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water.”

The Book of Romans in 1:20-25 also speaks of this “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures. Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them. For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.”

Even though the Scriptures say that we are without excuse, we are not without hope. John 3:17 says “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

Jesus came into this world so that through His redemptive work at Calvary we might be saved. The word “might” indicates that we have a decision to make. In fact, it is a very important decision that determines where we will spend our eternity.

Contrary to what you may have heard, Jesus does not send people to hell. John 3:18 tells us who determines that decision “Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” We send ourselves to hell, by denying Jesus Christ. But if we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we insure ourselves with an eternity with Him.

The Bible says in Romans 9:10 “If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” First you believe in your heart, then, you confess with your words that Jesus is your Lord and you will be saved. And this eternal salvation is for whoever calls on the name of the Lord (see Acts 2:21). Regardless of what you may have done, God will forgive you of all your sins (see Ephesians 1:7). And the beauty of salvation is this “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (See 2 Corinthians 5:17.)

True salvation is not complicated when we understand the basics of faith.

October, 2013, Sharon Croft from FL writes to testify, “Just want to let you know that when you prayed for me the morning we shared breakfast in Tallahassee FL, God healed my eye. Also, I was completely delivered from the skin condition and toe cramps after you prayed for me Sunday night at Transforming Life Church. Every time my skin would itch or turn the red, I would put my finger on those places and say, “no you don’t, I am healed. I have dominion over every creeping, crawling thing and you have to go in Jesus name. It took about 5 days (on and off) of standing, not giving place to it and it is gone!” Those toe cramps didn’t try to come back until all the rash was gone, and then my toes, (little toe and the one next to it) tried to cramp. The next morning, I went to their house and he was walking erect, without his cane. His shoulders were back, and he was stable. There was no longer any sign of the hernia and the swelling in his legs were reduced by 95% at that point.

Over the course of the next 2 weeks there was a slow progression with a few ups and downs. This primed their faith and hope that he would be completely healed. Did You Forget Your Sword?

Did you forget your sword? Don’t be like the warrior who is dressed for battle wearing his helmet of salvation, the breast plate of righteousness, a girdle of truth, shoes of peace, and is holding up his shield of faith, but is missing an important part of his armor, his sword.

The Lord gives us an all powerful supernatural weapon called the Sword of the Spirit, or the Word of God. He gives us this sword to defend ourselves in the daily battles of life that rise up against us.

But the Sword of the Spirit cannot help us unless we first pick it up. In other words we need to read the Bible, speak its written words aloud, and do what it says in Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

Oftentimes, people cry out to God and ask Him to change the situation for them. But He has given us the responsibility to change the situation, and has given us instructions in His Word how to do so.

For healing Jesus says to lay hands on the sick and if we believe they will be healed. (See Mark 16:18.)

For provision the Word instructs us in Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

The Word teaches us how to have inner peace in Philippians 4:8-9 “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.”

The Bible encourages us in James 1:5 that if we lack wisdom to ask God and He will give us the wisdom that we need.

Romans 4:17 teaches us by God’s personal example how to change impossible situations by utilizing the power of the spoken word. “God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;”

These are just a few ways that we defend ourselves with this spiritual weapon. Please, don’t forget to use the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God today.

Faith to Conceive a Child

“Hello Becky, I am in the middle of reading your book DARE to Believe. I see here in your book that you have prayed for couples to have babies. My wife and I are believing for children. We have been married for just over 2 years now. After some testing the doctors said that we will never have children naturally. I have since rebuked that report. What is your advice since we want to have children by faith and not by medical science? We have rejected infertility treatment offered by doctors. I would also appreciate your prayers i.e. combining your faith with ours.”

Yes, I continue to pray for couples and they conceive healthy children. Put your faith in action.

1. Lay your hand on your wife’s womb and renounce the negative reports and words spoken.
2. Speak words of life, we will conceive in Jesus’ name!
3. You welcome your child into your womb, verbally.

4. Speak out loud to your child as if he or she is already in your womb. This is faith talk and it works! See Romans 4:17.
5. See yourselves with your child. DARE to DREAM!
6. Choose names.
7. Each of you go out and either buy a little something, like an outfit, booties, a children’s Bible, or make something, such as Christmas decoration, whatever you like. This is lining up your actions with your words.
8. Plan family outings and vacations where you want to be with your child.

Trust God, put your faith into action, speak words of life, line up your actions to your words.

I believe if you will take this seriously, you will conceive within a year. I have seen it over and over and over again. Babies are being conceived by the true power of faith!!!

The True Purpose

Today, during the interview on WELE Radio in Ormond Beach, FL I was asked to pray with a man during one of the breaks. He was blind since birth. As I ministered healing to him, he saw light for the first time in his life! He was so excited he started to jump up and down! This young man is a miracle in the making.

Later, during another station break he called me out of the studio and asked me if I knew the difference between an agnostic and an atheist. He wanted to share with me what was on his heart, but he was so overwhelmed by what was taking place with his eyes, that he just couldn’t speak. He finally asked me, “Do you understand what I am trying to say to you?” I answered, “You mean you never understood about God before, and now you believe?” He replied, “Yes!” And I lead this young 27 year old man to the Lord.

This is the true purpose of signs and wonders.

SET THE CAPTIVES FREE!

People can be captive to all sorts of circumstances, often situations beyond their control , such as sickness, disease, blindness, deafness, paralysis, and more . Other times, such as addictions are brought upon by their own bad decisions in life. God didn’t bind people to these difficulties, nor does He desire they stay bound to these prisons. But what can people do about this? And do you have a part to play in setting the captives free?

Jesus said of Himself in Luke 4:18 “He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.” Why could He do these things? Because the Spirit of the Lord was upon Him and He was anointed.

And because of the redemptive work of Christ, we too have this anointing to set the captives free. In 1 John 4:17 it says concerning us “In this world we are like Jesus.” He prophesies in Acts 1:8 to all His disciples, including us “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” And He further declares in Mark 16: 17-18 “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” Our recreated spirits have God’s design to set the captives free!

This beautiful Guatemalan woman was oppressed and imprisoned within her own body. She had been paralyzed since infancy. She never stood on her own, and was bound to a wheelchair. She believed there was no hope for her.

But when she was 28 years of age, someone dared to ask her what she wanted. Her reply, “I want to walk!”

I then released the healing power of the Holy Spirit to flow into her spinal column. Immediately, she felt a soothing heat move slowly down her spine. I encouraged her to put her faith into action and do something she could not do before. She stood up from her wheelchair. She felt the ground beneath her feet for the first time, and started to take her first steps.

Jesus gave to us the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit to set the captives free. Will you?
