Where Does the Deep Begin with the Spirit?

Such excitement stirs within us when we allow ourselves to think about plunging into the deep and glorious realm of the Spirit. Our imaginations visualize great spiritual adventures of the supernatural kind such as dreams, visions, healings, heavenly visitations, and creative miracles. And yes, all of these and so much more await us as we plunge into the deep with the Spirit.

But let’s take a moment to contemplate what it means to plunge into the deep and glorious realm with Holy Spirit. Our uncontrolled mind and emotions throw us into the deepness of the Spirit instantly, but I’m telling you from experience it doesn’t work this way. This is where it will eventually lead us to, but this is not where it begins. Before plunging into the deep and glorious, let’s find out just where this supernatural realm begins.

In the natural, the beginning of the deep is at the bottom of the sea. And in the deepest part of the ocean, it’s dark, the pressure is strong, it’s unbreathable, and a lonely place to be.

But spiritually speaking, in order to go into the deep and glorious of the supernatural realm with God, we must start here. And even though we may feel like we are all alone in this place, we are not. The Spiri of the Lord is with us.

Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?  If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me (Psalm 139:7-10).

Spiritually speaking, the deep for us begins in the depths of repentance. This is not a popular topic in most pulpits nowadays. Many think they can rent a big hall, hire great-sounding musicians and singers, add a moving preacher who can preach, send out the invitations, and we’ve got ourselves a great revival. But that’s not how it works. A true revival always starts with a repentant heart.

When we look at the great prophets of the Bible before they walked in the true power of the Spirit, they all went down into the depths of repentance. The loser they moved toward God, the more they sensed His holiness and saw how unworthy they really were. They felt inadequate for the job and the need for a spiritual cleansing. In today’s world, it’s the same for us.

This was Isaiah’s response when he entered into the presence of God and received the prophetic call,

So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts” (Isaiah 6:5).

You may feel like Isaiah did here—undone! This is the beginning of the second wave, (that I speak of in this book), but fear not. Instead, trust God to take you into the deep waters of repentance and have His way with you, cleansing your heart from all ungodliness.

This excerpt comes from my book, “The WAVES of Healing Glory”, chapter 3, “Plunge Into the Deep Waters of Repentance”, pages 57-59.

Let’s pray.

Father God, in the name of Jesus’, I confess that I am not where I should be spiritually. I have allowed the things of this world to cloud my view of You. Help me, lead me to the deep waters of repentance. Help me to truly examine my heart, and to see the areas that I need to adjust to live as I should for Your glory, amen.

A Transition in the Spirit Realm

Do you sense the transition of the Spirit?

Do you hear Him wooing you without the fear of it?

Great change is on the horizon.

It’s time for the Church to step up to the occasion.

Increase in boldness,

Release with love,

The power of the Spirit from up above.

Upon bended knees,

Lift up holy hands,

Pray in the Spirit.

Can you hear it?

Can you hear the voice of the Holy Spirit?

Will you take a moment to listen in?

Do you hear the praise of the Heavenlies?

Do you feel the roar of the Lion?

He declares, “It is time.”

My brethren, “Are you ready?”

One last call is going forth.

What is your reply to the Father?

Are you going out about His business?

Or have you faltered in His will in this?

The time is ever so short,

The reports are coming in,

The records are being written and tallied.

Where do you fit in?

The end is near,

You do not need to fear.

The choice is yours,

What will you hear?

“Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

Or will you hear, “Depart from Me, I do not know you.”?

He gives you the choice.

What is your decision?

Will you side with division against Him?

Or will you align yourself with “The Great I Am”?

Part of this transition taking place,

Is the departure from God’s grace.

And the refusal to look upon His face.

To negate the place,

Where the plan first took place,

To redeem the human race.

This is the case that will be held against you,

If you erase the trace of His grace.

Identify Where You Are Spiritually

A major step in preparing yourself in these latter days is to identify where you are spiritually. Read through this message and carefully examine your heart and locate where you are spiritually.

In Genesis 3 Adam and Eve sin against God and run and hide behind the bush. The Lord comes down to the garden to fellowship with them, but they are not where they should be. God asks Adam a very important question. He calls out, “Adam, where are you?”

The Lord knows all things. He is not asking Adam for his physical location, but for him to identify where he is spiritually. As the time of Christ’s return draws near, the Spirit of God is asking the same question, “Where are you spiritually?”

It’s time to look to His Word and take spiritual inventory.  This self-examination can be found in Revelation 2-4, in the letters to the 7 churches.

1. The first question addresses the church in Ephesus and the condition of their spiritual hearts. God recognizes their deeds, their labor, their perseverance, their intolerance for evil people, and their discernment to judge false apostles.

It appears with these qualities they will pass, but they don’t. In fact, they fail and receive a warning to repent, or they will lose their position to shine their light. Why do they fail? Because they lose their love for Christ.

Ask yourself, “Do I still love Jesus like I once did before?

2. The second part of this examination applies to the church in Smyrna. They do not hear a rebuke but only words of encouragement. Who are they? They are the persecuted Church. He encourages them to not fear their imminent sufferings, but to be faithful to the end.

Therefore, the question to ask is, “Do I have the level of faithfulness it takes to endure persecution?”

3. The third part of this self-examination exposes twice in Revelation 2:13 the spiritual location of the church in Pergamum. Their dwelling is with satan. They are a cult. Their sins are idol worship, false gods, false teachings and acts of immorality. They are spiritually lost and receive the warning to repent, or He will make war against them.

Ask yourself, “Does my place of worship lift up Jesus as the one true God?”

4. The fourth section of this spiritual test is written to the church in Thyatira. She is the portion of God’s people who refuse to repent of their worldly ways. And they are so deceived that they even allow a spirit of Jezebel to lead them. And because they tolerate Jezebel they suffer with sickness, great tribulations (difficulties), and even their children are affected with pestilence.

As a healing minister, I have never seen God’s people as sick as I do now. I believe this is a direct consequence of allowing the evils of Jezebel to reign within the body of Christ.

Ask yourself, “Am I struggling to repent from ungodliness?”

5. The fifth part of this all-important test is written to the church in Sardis. She is religious, but spiritually dead. She receives the warning to wake up, repent, and get right with God. If she does not, He will come to her like a thief in the night.

Ask yourself, “Have I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and to be my Savior and Lord, or am I just going through the religious motions?

6. The sixth part of this examination addresses the church in Philadelphia. She is the second of the 7 churches that does not receive a rebuke, only an admonishment with a promise. Because of her faithfulness to God and His Word she will be kept from the hour of testing that will come upon the whole world.

Ask yourself, “Am I faithful to God and His Word?”

7. The seventh and final part of this exam is written to the church in Laodicea. She is the lukewarm church. She has no passion for the things of God. She has succumbed to the riches of this world and does not see how poor and wretched she really is. God sends His message to be zealous and repent, and to obtain the true riches that money cannot buy, redemption in Jesus Christ.

Ask yourself, “Am I passionate or passive for Jesus?”

Are you able to identify where you are spiritually? If you don’t like your spiritual location, then ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to make the necessary changes to move forward.

Are You Ready for the Lord’s Return? Prophetic Word

The word of the Lord would say to you, “Those who have ears to hear, listen.

I know the plans I have for you. They are not filled with destruction but are ordained to bless and prosper you.

Yes, we are living in the end, but I have not left you high and dry on the wayside.

No, I have set you on the path of righteousness, and the righteous hear of the end and they are glad.

They are not filled with fear because they are fully aware of My faithfulness to them.

Now, they are not naive like the foolish virgins, but are ready and prepared like the wise ones.

What did the wise possess? They had lamps filled with oil to shine their light. And their light shined for all to see, and their light was not hidden from the foolish. All could see that they carried the light.

They possessed the oil necessary to light their lamps. They even were prepared to shine when other lamps would grow dim for they possessed extra oil. They were wise and therefore tapped into the abundance of the oil before the return of their groom.

This portion of the bride was already dressed and ready to meet their groom whenever He would call them up hither. The crier asks you, “Are you ready to meet your Groom?”

Are your garments spotless? Have you rid yourself of all sin issues? Or do you have some more cleanup to do?

Are your garments free from wrinkles? Have you pressed them out? Or do you need to put the pressure on the old man’s ways and demand them out of your life for good?

The wise ready themselves to meet the Groom, the foolish do not. Are you ready?”

Freedom in Christ Scriptures

Freedom in Christ Scriptures

Many people are imprisoned in cells that are not visible with the human eye, but they are real, nonetheless. But Jesus Christ gave His life on the Cross to set us free from this prison. And with His help you can break free from these chains that have you bound to sin, and the wicked results of sin. Find your freedom in Christ with these Scriptures today.

  1. Romans 8:1-4, (AMP) Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior]. For the law of the Spirit of life [which is] in Christ Jesus [the law of our new being] has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do [that is, overcome sin and remove its penalty, its power] being weakened by the flesh [man’s nature without the Holy Spirit], God did: He sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful man as an offering for sin. And He condemned sin in the flesh [subdued it and overcame it in the person of His own Son], so that the [righteous and just] requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us who do not live our lives in the ways of the flesh [guided by worldliness and our sinful nature], but [live our lives] in the ways of the Spirit [guided by His power].
  2. John 8:36, (NASB) So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.
  3. 2 Corinthians 3:17, (NLT) For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
  4. 1 Thessalonians 1:10, (NKJV) and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, evenJesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.
  5. Romans 6:22, (AMP) But now since you have been set free from sin and have become [willing] slaves to God, you have your benefit, resulting in sanctification [being made holy and set apart for God’s purpose], and the outcome [of this] is eternal life.
  6. 1 Peter 2:15-16, (NLT) It is God’s will that your honorable lives should silence those ignorant people who make foolish accusations against you.For you are free, yet you are God’s slaves, so don’t use your freedom as an excuse to do evil.
  7. Galatians 5:1, (NKJV) Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
  8. Acts 13:39, (NLV) Everyone who puts his trust in Christ will be made right with God. You will be made free from those things the Law of Moses could not make you free from.
  9. Luke 4: 18-19, (TLB) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; he has appointed me to preach Good News to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted and to announce that captives shall be released and the blind shall see, that the downtrodden shall be freed from their oppressors, and that God is ready to give blessings to all who come to him.”
  10. John 8:32, (GW) You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
  11. Psalm 79:9, (NKJV) Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; and deliver us, and provide atonement for our sins, for Your name’s sake!
  12. 2 Timothy 3: 10-11, (NIV) You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.
  13. Galatians 5: 13-14, (AMP) For you, my brothers, were called to freedom; only do not let your freedom becomean opportunity for the sinful nature (worldliness, selfishness), but through love serve and seek the best for one another. For the whole Law [concerning human relationships] is fulfilled in one precept, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, you shall have an unselfish concern for others and do things for their benefit].”
  14. Romans 8:15, (NKJV) For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, ”
  15. Ephesians 3:12, (NLT) Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God’s presence.
  16. Psalm 119:45, (TPT) I will walk with you in complete freedom, for I seek to follow your every command.
  17. James 1:25, (NKJV) But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it,and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
  18. Hebrews 2:14-15, (AMP) Therefore, since [these His] children share in flesh and blood [the physical nature of mankind], He Himself in a similar manner also shared in the same [physical nature, but without sin], so that through [experiencing] death He might make powerless (ineffective, impotent) him who had the power of death—that is, the devil— and [that He] might free all those who through [the haunting] fear of death were held in slavery throughout their lives.
  19. 1 Corinthians 7:22, (TLV) For the one who was called in the Lord as a slave is the Lord’s freedman. Likewise the one who was called while free is Messiah’s slave.
  20. Colossians 1:13-14, (NKJV) He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed usinto the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
  21. Revelation 1:5, (AMP) And from Jesus Christ, the faithful and trustworthy Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who [always] loves us and who [has once for all] freed us [or washed us] from our sins by His own blood (His sacrificial death)—

31 Forgiveness Scriptures

31 Forgiveness Scriptures Authorbeckydvorak.com

We live in a fallen world and bad things happen to good people all the time, not because God planned it that way, but because He gave to people a great gift—a freewill. But with this freewill comes something even more important—being responsible. Unfortunately, the world is full of selfish people that do not consider the consequences that others will suffer for their bad decisions. And sets us in front the doors of decision-making. 20. Psalms 103:10-14, (NIV) He does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. We Are Healed By His Stripes

The Word tells us that we are healed by His stripes. In Isaiah 53:5 (KJV) we read that “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed”.

Time and time again, I witness the manifest power of the blood in this portion of Scripture. I can tell you firsthand, this message literally torments satan and his fallen angels (demons). It’s here where they encounter their defeat, and they shutter with fear when we hear its truth.

They witnessed this event through their own eyes of deception. Later when Jesus rose from the dead, the truth was revealed, and they knew they were defeated for eternity because of this historical event recorded in Isaiah 53:4-5.

This portion of Scripture is so powerful that in the Jewish faith today this chapter is skipped. Isaiah 52 and 54 are taught, but chapter 53 is not. But when they read or hear someone else read this chapter, they recognize it’s Jesus this chapter is speaking about. Think about that.

And because this chapter clearly prophesies what the Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus suffers to redeem us from (for all people) the devil fights hard to create controversy with this foundational truth. They realize that if they spread false teaching amongst the body of Christ concerning supernatural power of the blood of Christ to heal, people will be weak in the faith, powerless against their wicked attacks, bound by sickness and disease, tormented in their minds and emotions, and live in defeat. This will cause them to be ineffective with their witness to the lost.

Isaiah 53:4-5(AMP) But [in fact] He has borne our griefs, and He has carried our sorrows and pains;
Yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken,
struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him,
And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.

Let’s dissect these verses and hear the truth from God’s Word.

He bore our griefs.

  • Bore = to bear, or to carry.
  • Griefs = sickness.

Yeshua bore / carried on His own body that sickness that is attacking your body.

He carried our sorrows.

  • Sorrows = physical and mental pain.

He bore / carried that hurt upon His own body for you, so that you can be free from it.

Yet, we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God.

  • Esteem = to make a judgement.
  • Stricken = plague.
  • Smitten = slaughter.

He was judged, plagued and slaughtered for our sin, sickness, and disease.

He was wounded for our transgressions.

  • Wounded = defiled.
  • Transgression = rebellion.

He was defiled for our rebellion.

He was bruised for our iniquities.

  • Bruised = to crush.
  • Iniquities = perversity / sin.

He was crushed because of our perversity / our sin.

The chastisement for our peace was upon Him.

  • Chastisement = discipline, correction.
  • Peace = welfare, health, prosperity, & peace.

He was disciplined for our welfare, our health, prosperity and peace.

By His stripes we are healed.

  • Stripes = bruise, stripe, wound.
  • Healed = to cure, heal, and make whole.

Jesus bore those healing whips upon His back for you, in your place, so that you can be cured, healed, and made whole again.

And what part do you play in this healing process? Believe, trust Him, allow Him to walk with you through this healing process. I hope this message helps you to understand that by His stripes we are healed.

It’s Time to Dethrone that Sickness

Have we idolized the sickness? Has it become all-powerful to us? Has it become the center of our lives? Is it the controller of all we say and do? Is it the center of every message we give? Do our words glorify Jesus as the Healer of all, including this sickness, or do they insinuate this sickness is more powerful than Jesus? I know these are hard questions to ask ourselves, but it’s time to dethrone that sickness, and in order to do so we need to know what we are glorifying.

Have we become a walking billboard for advertising the disease? Are we it’s new poster child? Are we walking down the catwalk modeling the disease for the world to see? Have we turned the spotlight onto the sickness? Are we highlighting the strength of this disease with every breath that we breathe?

I don’t think that we set out to idolize the sickness, I think it sneaks into position, and before we know it we bow down to it and comply to its every demand. Instead, we should take our stand and by a faith filled command, curse it and bind it back to the land from where it came–the pit of hell. Take hold of our spiritual claim, the redemptive power of the Blood to deliver and heal us from these filthy chains that try to bind us. It’s time to set ourselves free from this golden calf of sickness and disease.

We need to stop proselytizing a false doctrine that God gave this disease to us. This message goes against the Word of God, and devalues the blood that Jesus shed for us at the whipping post so that we could be healed from sickness and disease. With every fiber of His precious being He shed His blood for our healing.

“But [in fact] He has borne our griefs, and He has carried our sorrows and pains; yet we [ignorantly] assumed that He was stricken, struck down by God and degraded and humiliated [by Him]. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing];
The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, and by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.” Isaiah 53:4-5, AMP.

Again we have a choice to make. Are we willing to admit and repent of all our doubt and unbelief to our Healer, Jesus? Or will we hold onto our right to a false doctrine and glorify this sickness? Are we ready to dethrone this disease in our lives? And are we going to lift up Jesus higher and place Him, our Healer on the throne of our hearts, and cleanse our temples from the filth of this disease?

“My soul magnifies and exalts the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior. “For He who is mighty has done great things for me; and holy is His name [to be worshiped in His purity, majesty, and glory]. Luke 1:46-47,49, AMP.

I believe many of us are ready and willing to dethrone sickness this day. Let’s pray.

In the name of Jesus’, I repent for making this disease an idol in my life. I am willing to get rid of this golden calf that I have been glorifying unknowingly. Sickness and disease I curse the power you have had over me. I command you to leave my temple. I only have room for one in my heart, and it’s Jesus, my Savior, my Redeemer, my Healer, and my Lord. He is the One that I surrender to and bow down and worship. From this day forward, Jesus is the center of my life. He is the One that I will glorify, and He is the all-powerful One for me. Thank You, Holy Spirit for revealing to me how I created a golden calf called sickness and disease in my life, and now with the power of my faith filled words in the right thing, the power of Your blood I dethrone this sickness and this disease in my life. I will search Your Word and allow it to light the pathway for my healing in You. In the mighty name of Jesus’ I pray in faith, amen and amen.
