3 Steps to Spiritual Readiness

Are you spiritually ready for the return of Jesus Christ? Here is a list of 3 areas that you must put in order before that glorious day when the trumpet sounds and we are called to meet Him in the air.

  1. Salvation

There is only one way to the Father in Heaven, and it is not by being a member of a congregation, or by attending a local Christian place of worship, neither is it by good works, but through the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ for salvation.

  •  Jesus answers Nicodemus, a religious Pharisees, and a ruler of the Jews, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3.

  • John writes to clarify that salvation is for whoever will believe. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16 -17.

  • The Bible gives clear instructions on how to be saved. “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom. 10:9-10.

  1. Forgiveness

With the eminent return of Christ it is of utmost importance that we activate the power of forgiveness.

  • Isaiah  admonishes us to not procrastinate, but to seek the Lord and His forgiveness now. “Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” Isa. 55: 6-7.

  • In the Book of Matthew we receive strong warning about the consequences of unforgiveness. “But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matt. 6:15.

  1. Sin

No matter what society does we are to examine our hearts and rid it of sin issues.

  • Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Cor. 6: 9-10.

These are the 3 basics steps to spiritually prepare for the blessed day of our hope in Jesus Christ.

Your Redemption Draws Near

Look up for your redemption draws near.

Do not fear, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

I am your redeemer, and I live.

I will lead all My children down the path of righteousness.

My ways are not always easy, but they are correct.

Many will turn against you. But, if I am for you, then who can stand against you?

Do not fear what they can do to the body, but instead reverence the One who can give and take away life.

I was faithful to the Israelites when they wandered in the desert. And I will be faithful to you too.

The Kingdom, My kingdom will become evident to all.

Keep your eyes fixed upon Me as many will fall.

Many who call Me Lord do not know Who or what they speak about.

The placement of the people within the seven Churches in Revelation will become evident to all.

Pray for the weak ones, many of them will fall.

Where to Put Your Trust for Healing

When it comes to healing there are different areas where we can put our faith, but with some of these choices we can misplace our faith. So, where do you put your trust for healing? Watch to find out if your trust is in the right place.

Necessary Heart Changes to Activate Healing

The hearts of many people are not in right standing to activate their healings. The Lord gave me the following list in a dream concerning the attitudes of that heart that we need to cultivate. I believe it will help and bless you to heal.

  1. We Need to Be Humble

Like Jairus, we need to humble ourselves, fall down at the feet of Jesus, and make our requests known (see Luke 8:41). Acknowledging that He is our Lord and Savior and our source for healing, we must invite His healing power into our homes, just as Jairus did.

  1. We Need to Seek

We need to seek and find out, as the leprous man did, what the will of the Lord is concerning healing (see Luke 5:12-13). We need to study the Word of God for ourselves. As we read about actual healing in His Word our faith will be stirred to believe.

  1. We Need to Press Into His Presence

Just as the woman with the issue of blood pressed into Jesus’ presence and touched the very heart of Him, we need to enter into His manifested presence (see Luke 8:43-48).

  1. We Need to Be fully Persuaded

Abraham was fully persuaded, and we need to be too. We need to rid ourselves of all doubt and unbelief regarding whether or not it’s God’s will to heal us. Like Abraham, we need to call those things that are not as though they are while ignoring the realm of the five senses and all human reasoning (see Rom. 4: 13-22).

  1. We Need to Judge God Faithful

Like Sarah, we need to come to the realization that God is faithful (see Heb. 11:11). The more we allow His presence to manifest in us while we are in His Word, the more we will know Him and learn to trust Him. We too will judge Him faithful to keep His promises to us.

  1. We Need to Be Obedient

As Naaman discovered, obedience is a must (see 2 Kings 5:1-14). Whatever God instructs us to do, we must do it! And we must do it with a submissive attitude, knowing who He is and who we are in Him.

  1. We Need to Put our Faith into Action

Immediately, we need to put our faith into action, as the man with the withered hand did, and watch what happens! The healing may be instant, or it may be progressive in nature; either way, it is miraculous. But it will only start after we put our faith into action (see Luke 6:6-10).

  1. We May Need to Find Support

We may need to do as the paralytic man did and rely on friends of like-faith to support us while we obtain our healing (see Luke 5:17-26).

If we will activate these 8 changes of the heart we will see our healings manifest.

Pray Psalm 91

black and white woman Bible oceanDo you fear persecution and the uncertainty of the times we live in?  What will happen with your job? Your family? Your life? Do you sense the need for tighter security around you?  Do you sense the need for more reassurance of the Lord’s faithfulness?  If so, you are not alone, many Christians struggle with fear concerning these Last Days.

How can we overcome these overwhelming feelings of fear and insecurity?  One way to calm our hearts is to pray, and not just any prayer, but pray the Word of God.

I believe in the power of praying God’s Word over ourselves and our families. Let’s begin with Psalm 91 from the NKJV of the Bible.

  • Read it several times to familiarize yourself with it.
  • After you are familiar with it, start with verse one and personalize it for yourself.
  • Meditate upon His protection.
  • Start to memorize this portion of Scripture.
  • When fearful thoughts come to taunt you quote Psalm 91 aloud.
  • Allow the power of God’s Word to encourage you today.
  1. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” It is our responsibility to choose who we will spend our time with during these turbulent times. We can spend our time with the spirit of fear, or we can make a quality decision and spend our time with the Lord. There is protection and provision when we are under the boundary of His shadow.
  2. ” I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”” Declaring the attributes of the Lord is a powerful, but humble way to address the Lord. And He honors our faith in Him.
  3. “Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.” What encouragement this can stir within us when we vocalize His greatness over our enemy, satan and all of his wicked works.
  4. “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” This Scripture is visually filled with His tenderness towards us, and assures us of His divine protection.
  5. “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.” With God we do not need to fear what comes against us in the supernatural realm, nor do we need to be afraid of what could rise against us in the physical realm either. God is with us at all times.
  6. “Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.” He has given us authority over things that can do us harm.
  1. “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.” Again, we have a boundary of protection as we abide under His shadow.”
  2. “Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.” It is reassuring to know that we will be spared from the consequences of sin.
  3. “Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place,” This is confirmation of our security that we have in Him. And no matter what we will face in the days ahead he is our security.
  1. “No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;” These are great statements of faith to declare over ourselves verbally every day.
  2. “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”  He sends His ministering spirits to protect us from evil.
  3. “In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.” The angels have been signed a plan of action on our behalf.
  4. “You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.” He gives to us authority over all of our enemies.
  5. “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.” This is the reason we can activate the power of His redemption.
  6. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.” These words bring assurance to us that no matter what happens in this life, He will respond to our need.
  7. “With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.” These are promised benefits that come from personal relationship with Him.

These are trying times, and we need to take control over a spirit of fear concerning these last days. Praying the Word of God gives strength and peace to our mind and emotions, and changes our focus from fear to His faithful.
