Offer Hope

According to Hebrews 11:1, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In other words, hope is the precursor of faith. Before someone can have faith to believe, they first need to have hope in their heart for something better.

The enemy knows that if he can steal our hope then we will be powerless over his wicked attacks. That’s why he works overtime to keep us in the dark concerning God’s promises.

I met a woman in a healing line with 8 herniated disks. She suffered with unbearable pain for many years. The doctors could not help her, there were no medical treatments or pills that could ease her pain. She lost hope that she would be well and pain free again, and actually lost her will to live and wanted to commit suicide.

Then one day a few of her friends offered her hope for healing. And they brought her to their Church for a healing service. As the woman listened to what Jesus did for her at Calvary so that she could be healed her hope transformed into faith. She believed in the redemptive work of Christ and was instantly healed.

Like her friends, we need to offer hope for the hopeless. Hope for something better. As in the case of this woman, hope not only healed this woman’s spine, but it also gave her the will to live again.

God’s Word offers hope in every area of life for us. Here are a few of His promises:

  • Forgiveness for sin. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. “ 1 John 1:9.
  • Salvation instead of damnation. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16.
  • His blessings in place of satan’s curses. “The Lordis my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.” Psalm 23:1-2.
  • Provision for lack. “Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?” Luke 12:24.
  • Healing for sickness. “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5.
  • Miracles for impossible situations. “But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”” Mark 10:27.
  • Protection from danger. “No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;” Psalm 91:10.
  • Joy for mourning. “To console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes,
    the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”” Isaiah 61:3.
  • A new beginning. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17.

3 Steps to Spiritual Readiness

Are you spiritually ready for the return of Jesus Christ? Here is a list of 3 areas that you must put in order before that glorious day when the trumpet sounds and we are called to meet Him in the air.

  1. Salvation

There is only one way to the Father in Heaven, and it is not by being a member of a congregation, or by attending a local Christian place of worship, neither is it by good works, but through the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ for salvation.

  •  Jesus answers Nicodemus, a religious Pharisees, and a ruler of the Jews, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3.

  • John writes to clarify that salvation is for whoever will believe. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16 -17.

  • The Bible gives clear instructions on how to be saved. “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Rom. 10:9-10.

  1. Forgiveness

With the eminent return of Christ it is of utmost importance that we activate the power of forgiveness.

  • Isaiah  admonishes us to not procrastinate, but to seek the Lord and His forgiveness now. “Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.” Isa. 55: 6-7.

  • In the Book of Matthew we receive strong warning about the consequences of unforgiveness. “But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matt. 6:15.

  1. Sin

No matter what society does we are to examine our hearts and rid it of sin issues.

  • Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Cor. 6: 9-10.

These are the 3 basics steps to spiritually prepare for the blessed day of our hope in Jesus Christ.

Your Redemption Draws Near

Look up for your redemption draws near.

Do not fear, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

I am your redeemer, and I live.

I will lead all My children down the path of righteousness.

My ways are not always easy, but they are correct.

Many will turn against you. But, if I am for you, then who can stand against you?

Do not fear what they can do to the body, but instead reverence the One who can give and take away life.

I was faithful to the Israelites when they wandered in the desert. And I will be faithful to you too.

The Kingdom, My kingdom will become evident to all.

Keep your eyes fixed upon Me as many will fall.

Many who call Me Lord do not know Who or what they speak about.

The placement of the people within the seven Churches in Revelation will become evident to all.

Pray for the weak ones, many of them will fall.

Where to Put Your Trust for Healing

When it comes to healing there are different areas where we can put our faith, but with some of these choices we can misplace our faith. So, where do you put your trust for healing? Watch to find out if your trust is in the right place.

Necessary Heart Changes to Activate Healing

The hearts of many people are not in right standing to activate their healings. The Lord gave me the following list in a dream concerning the attitudes of that heart that we need to cultivate. I believe it will help and bless you to heal.

  1. We Need to Be Humble

Like Jairus, we need to humble ourselves, fall down at the feet of Jesus, and make our requests known (see Luke 8:41). Acknowledging that He is our Lord and Savior and our source for healing, we must invite His healing power into our homes, just as Jairus did.

  1. We Need to Seek

We need to seek and find out, as the leprous man did, what the will of the Lord is concerning healing (see Luke 5:12-13). We need to study the Word of God for ourselves. As we read about actual healing in His Word our faith will be stirred to believe.

  1. We Need to Press Into His Presence

Just as the woman with the issue of blood pressed into Jesus’ presence and touched the very heart of Him, we need to enter into His manifested presence (see Luke 8:43-48).

  1. We Need to Be fully Persuaded

Abraham was fully persuaded, and we need to be too. We need to rid ourselves of all doubt and unbelief regarding whether or not it’s God’s will to heal us. Like Abraham, we need to call those things that are not as though they are while ignoring the realm of the five senses and all human reasoning (see Rom. 4: 13-22).

  1. We Need to Judge God Faithful

Like Sarah, we need to come to the realization that God is faithful (see Heb. 11:11). The more we allow His presence to manifest in us while we are in His Word, the more we will know Him and learn to trust Him. We too will judge Him faithful to keep His promises to us.

  1. We Need to Be Obedient

As Naaman discovered, obedience is a must (see 2 Kings 5:1-14). Whatever God instructs us to do, we must do it! And we must do it with a submissive attitude, knowing who He is and who we are in Him.

  1. We Need to Put our Faith into Action

Immediately, we need to put our faith into action, as the man with the withered hand did, and watch what happens! The healing may be instant, or it may be progressive in nature; either way, it is miraculous. But it will only start after we put our faith into action (see Luke 6:6-10).

  1. We May Need to Find Support

We may need to do as the paralytic man did and rely on friends of like-faith to support us while we obtain our healing (see Luke 5:17-26).

If we will activate these 8 changes of the heart we will see our healings manifest.
