Urgent! I Need Help to Believe.

The people of this earth are in turmoil, so much has happened, and continues to happen around us. It’s been one crisis after another without time to process, rest and regain their strength. People are crying, weeping for the loss of what once was, what they once had, and more importantly the for the people they have lost. And the pileup of grievous events has caused many to grow weak in the faith to believe the promises found in God’s Word.

I receive many prayer requests, and this one arrives today, “Please pray that I may have the strength to believe God’s word once again, I’m tired of wallowing in unbelief and doubt, but I just can’t seem to bring myself to believe what I read.” As I read this, I can’t help but think this is someone that has been beaten down by the enemy, the devil, and they are worn down, and need a refreshing. And this plea for spiritual help is not rare, but now common. And if you are in this situation, I want to share with you what I share with this individual.

I’m not sure all that has happened to you, nor do I need to know, but I do know this that the Lord will hear when you cry out to Him. He loves you with an everlasting love, and when you feel weak, He remains strong. I pray for you for a renewal in your relationship with Jesus, that you will hunger and thirst for righteousness, and as you read the Bible, you will remember to ask Holy Spirit to lead you through the Scriptures, and that you will learn to allow Him to speak to you, teach you, lead you and guide you, and comfort you. Knowing that you are unique (PS. 139:13), you are precious (1 COR. 6:20), you are lovely (DAN. 12:3), and you are SPECIAL TO HIM TOO (EPH. 2:10). With a sincere heart ask Him right now to help you through this dry season in your life, and for Holy Spirit to refresh you, and bring joy back between the two of you.

Let’s pray together right now.

Father God,

In the name of Your precious Son, Jesus’, I ask for Your forgiveness for waiting for so long before reaching out for help. I don’t know exactly when things started to go sour between us, but I know that our relationship is not what it once was. And I desire our relationship to be healed and strengthened. Holy Spirit, lead me back to my Lord. Help me to fall back into love with You.

Holy Spirit, lead me and guide me as I read the Word. Help me to see the truth and the reality that is penned within the pages of the Scriptures. I long to see and to understand, and to walk in the power of Your word, in Your most holy name, I pray, Amen.

I believe as you continue to call out to the Lord with an honest plea about what’s going on in your soul, that barrier between you and God will start to come down, and that urgent cry for help to believe again will be answered. And with time spent in prayer and in the Word your faith will be strengthened once again.

The Prayer of Faith Saves a Boy’s Life

The prayer of faith saves a boy’s life, but before you read this wonderful testimony that just took place let’s talk about faith and the prayer of faith. (This teaching comes from “The Prophetic and Healing Power of Your Words”, Chapter 8, “Prayer Strategies” on page 149.)

What is faith and the prayer of faith? First we have the matter of faith. What is it? Certainly it’s not feelings. According to Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. “ Faith is a supernatural foundation, it literally upholds you. Its strength depends upon your relationship and communication with Elohim, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Interestingly, James refers to something called the prayer of faith in his writings. We would think that when we pray we use faith, but apparently this is not always the case. Much of what is said during prayer is not faith at all. Let’s face it, there is a lot of whining, complaining, and blaming going on during prayer.

And how many times have you heard it said in prayer, “If it be Your will…” There is no faith activated in a prayer like this. This statement shows that the heart is not settled upon God’s will in the matter. It reveals insecurity and a lack of trust in the God who truly cares for your needs.

This is especially true when it comes to prayer for healing. If we do not know the will of God to heal, we cannot pray with faith and believe that God hears us and responds to us according to our words full of faith. …

On Thu, Sep 19, 2019, 10:58 PM I receive an urgent prayer request for a young boy who was in a serious accident at the point of death.

“Mrs. Becky,

My co-worker called to inform me that her son was riding his bicycle when a car accidentally hit him. Her son had surgery on his brain and leg. She shared with me that the doctors told her that his blood level is too low and he does not think he will make it. Can you stand in agreement for Dion? I believe God will heal this precious child in the name of Jesus.

Thank you always,

Paulette”

My response to Paulette’s prayer request, 2019-09-19 22:04

“In the name of Jesus I renounce this spirit of premature death over this child. I command it to leave him. I release the Spirit of Life to flow in and throughout his entire being. I speak to his brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, and all other organs to be recreated. I command you to not shut down, but to come back to life in Jesus’ mighty name, I say LIVE in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit hover over this little one in Jesus’ name, amen and amen.

Call his mom and read this aloud to her in Jesus name, amen.”

On 2019-09-22 00:02 Paulette responds with a wonderful praise report.

“Mrs. Becky,

Glory be to God! After following instructions and saying the prayer out loud that you sent. A miracle from God happened. Dion’s mom said the doctors completed the CT Scan and ran tests and could not find where the bleeding was coming from in her child’s head. The doctors told her that her son was supposed to be dead because the fracture that was connected to the skull, and a vessel was bleeding. The doctors told her to call her family and get her son’s affairs in order.

But while her son was in ICU, and right after saying the prayer you sent out loud over him, she said the four doctors who were examining her son told her that her son will recover.  And all of sudden they were able to reach a vessel that was far back in his skull and impossible to reach, but now they were able to reach it and stop the bleeding.

He is out of critical condition and the doctors expect to move him out of ICU soon. He is eating and talking too. The doctors are still in shock.

Dion’s mom said, “God is amazing!”

And I Praise God, our healer! God bless you, Mrs. Becky.”

The prayer of faith is such a powerful gift given to all of us who will actively believe and receive all the goodness God has for us. Will you activate the prayer of faith today?

Need to Make a Difficult Decision?

Need to make a difficult decision? Do you feel as if you are backed into a corner and you just don’t know what you should do? We’ve all been in this place one time or another, and although it is not a pleasant place to be there is an answer.

James 1:5 encourages us with these words, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” This word “wisdom”, sophía, G4678 in the Strong’s Concordance means either worldly or spiritual wisdom, and skill in the management of affairs.

This is a bit of good news for those that are in a tough spot or feel as though they are pressed between a rock and a hard place. God wills to lead us in our decision making process. We just need to remember to take the time to ask Him to show us the way. And He also gives to us His Holy Spirit as our guide. “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.” John 16:33.

This Scripture clearly states that the Holy Spirit will guide you. It doesn’t say that the Holy Spirit will push or force you into a decision, but that He will show you the way. He does not use fear tactics, but leads you into all truth, not just a bit of the truth concerning a matter, but will reveal all truth pertaining to the situation. But the main point here is that He does not push, He leads you, guides you, woos you, and shepherds you into all truth.

For example, your doctor tells you if you do not take this medicine you won’t get well, but the warning label on the medicine bottle clearly reads this medicine will make you sick. Or worse yet, your doctor tells you the medicine or treatment you are taking is not working, but if you stop taking it you will die. This is a difficult situation to find yourself in, and it demands that you make a quality decision and quickly.

Your doctor is giving it to you straight, as he or she sees it. And in the natural realm the diagnose could be correct, but does it include the ultimate option of faith. Elohim, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are omniscience, all-knowing. They understand the problem and they know how to heal it. God is also omnipotent, all-powerful, and has the ability to make you whole again. Trust and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you into all truth concerning healing. Remember, God isn’t moved by time, but by faith. And He only needs one moment to reveal all the truth you need to heal.

Then there are other types of decisions that are not urgent, such as making a large purchase in which you need to borrow more money than you should or would like. What do you do? An old pastor of mine once told the congregation concerning these types of decisions, “If it can’t wait 2 weeks then it probably is not of God”.  This is so true.

I remember when my husband and I were newly married and we had a salesman come to our home trying to sell us cemetery plots. We politely listened to his sales pitch and told him that even though there was wisdom in what he shared with us we could not make an immediate decision but needed time to think about this. The man was so upset and started shouting at us, thinking his nasty tone and meanness would insure him a quick sale. It did not. We activated the godly golden nugget of the 2 week waiting period given to us by our pastor by the leading of the Holy Spirit concerning these types of matters.

Hasty decisions are usually ones that you will regret, and they can cause serious family, relationship, financial, and even health problems. When growing up, my grandma had a plaque hanging on her kitchen wall that said, “The hurrieder I go, the behinder I get!” I often remind myself with those old words of wisdom that hung on her wall.  I also take to heart what Moses says to the people in Numbers 9:8, “Stand still, that I may hear what the Lord will command concerning you.” In other words, “Stop, drop to your knees, pray, and find out what God has to say about the matter before calling out your decision.”

If you feel any confusion in your heart concerning the matter, don’t ignore it. This is probably a signal from God that something is not right. Take the time needed to pray through to His peace, because God is not the author of confusion. (See 1 Corinthians 14:33.)

And again I reiterate, the Holy Spirit leads us, He does not force us into a decision as our enemy, satan does. You will save yourself from a whole lot of heartache and negative consequences if you will learn to follow God’s leading, and not respond hastily to the enemy pushing you into a bad decision.

Your Prayer Makes A Difference

Have you ever passed over a prayer request because you felt that perhaps your prayers won’t help? I want to stir your faith to believe that yes, your prayers do make a difference.

James 5:16 claims, “Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” When true believers in Jesus Christ pray words of faith they cause situations to change. 1John 5:14-15 states, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.” Our faith-filled prayers accomplish great things for the glory of our Lord.

I shared two urgent prayer requests on social media. One was for a little girl who was rushed to the hospital with high fevers and severe seizures. The other request was from a woman who needed prayer for healing of a relationship between her and her adult daughter that needs salvation and healing, but was not able to even start to minister to her daughter because of a broken relationship. I shared the needs of these people with you, with examples of faith-filled prayers to pray. Together we prayed in faith and both came back with good reports.

The little girl was released and sent back home within an hour. The family says this is nothing short of a miraculous touch from the Lord, and credits this to everyone’s prayers. With the other situation, the mother wrote back and said that her daughter’s spirit has opened up to her once again and she can now start to reach out to her daughter’s needs, and thanks everyone for their prayers.

I want to encourage you, regardless of the situation, reach out to those who believe and ask them to pray. And for those of you that are called upon to pray, don’t lose heart, your faith-filled prayers do make a difference. They accomplish great things for the glory of our God.
