God Transforms Impossible

To confirm to Mary the message of the Lord, Gabriel gives her a Word of Knowledge in Luke 1:36 concerning her cousin Elizabeth. He says, “And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month.”

This Word of Knowledge not only confirms the truth of the purpose of His visit with Mary, but it also encourages her to believe God to fulfill His promise.

In the natural it was impossible for Elizabeth to conceive a child. She was labeled “barren”. The Amplified Bible reads, “”Look, even in her old age, your relative Elizabeth has conceived a son. This woman who was labeled ‘unable to conceive’ is now six months pregnant.” Her womb was labeled with the words forever empty and childless.

But God is the Master at overriding natural impossibilities and transforming them into possibilities. He removes negative word labels that bind people to hopelessness and despair. He confirms this in verse 37, “For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.” AMP

What physical impossibility have you been labeled with? Is there an underlying hope within you to be free from this negative label? That hope is the precursor to faith to believe and receive your miracle from God today. Hebrews 11:1 puts it this way, “Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title-deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].”

Spiritually prepare your heart to receive. Just like a womb receives a miracle seed to produce life, you receive this message as your hope seed and witness the label impossible transform into possible. You start right now, and take the word impossible or the negative report, renounce it in the name of Jesus, and transform it and say with God I Am Possible!

Shining Cloud of Glory

Gabriel answers Mary’s honest question, “How can this be?” He says to her in Luke 1:35, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God.” The Amplified Version of the Bible describes this overshadowing as “like a shining cloud”.

This is what happens when we activate our faith and believe in His promises. We allow His presence to come upon us, and overshadow us like a shining cloud. In Genesis 1:1-3, we read about this overshadowing when God creates the heavens and the earth. It says in verse 2 that the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, is hovering and brooding over the situation, and His glory releases into the situation when the Father says in verse 3, “Let there be light”.

This light is not the sun, moon and stars, God creates these in verses 14-19, on the fourth day of creation. What is this light that He releases in verse 3? It is the manifested glory of God. And it is in this realm where miracles release and manifest.

If we read through the rest of the encounter between Gabriel and Mary, we will see that in verse 38 Mary says, ““Behold, the bondslave of the Lord; may it be done to me according to your word.” She binds herself to the Word of the Lord and releases the glorious power of the Holy Spirit into her life, through the agreement of her spoken words, just as the Father did in the beginning of creation, and the miraculous then happens.

Does the Spirit of the Lord want to release in us an unimaginable miracle? Are we struggling to find the manifestation of this promise? We need to be like Mary, surrender our will to His, and give the invitation to the Holy Spirit to manifest His shining cloud of glory over us to release and create our miracle.

Let’s pray.

Dear Holy Spirit,

I am your bondslave, I bind myself to You. I invite You to come and overshadow me with Your shining cloud of glory. With my spoken words of agreement, I release Your power to create Your miraculous will for my life.

An Honest Question

Luke 1:34, “Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I am a virgin?” This is Mary’s response to the most astounding news she receives from Gabriel, that she would give birth to Jesus, the Son of God.

Mary was a simple young girl, and yet she was chosen to carry out a great task of love for God.

Imagine how difficult news of this magnitude was to believe and receive. We would all wonder how this was possible.

Her response was not that of doubt, but an honest question. She truly wondered how God could accomplish this promise.

Where as a doubtful response would mock, negate, and push away the promise of God.

Did you know that God can handle and will even welcome an honest question. He wants us to understand His plans and purposes for our lives. He says in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).” AMP

Do you have questions concerning the promise of the Lord for your life? Don’t be afraid to ask Him. He will answer you, and show you great and mighty things that He has for you.

Prophetic Messages from Heaven

As we continue on with the real life account of the birth of Jesus we read from Luke 1:31-33, the prophecy that the angel Gabriel came to deliver to Mary. “And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.”

What an amazing prophecy that Mary received. It forever altered the future. She was to become the earthen vessel that God would choose to supernaturally conceive, but physically carry and birth Jesus Christ into this earth.

The Christmas story is filled with supernatural events, angelic appearances, prophecy, supernatural conception, and we will read later on in the story about dreams and visions, a guiding star, and more angelic visitations. It is a fascinating portion of Scripture.

I want to focus today’s blog on prophetic messages. Mary received this prophecy about 2000 years ago. But did you know that God still speaks to His people with prophetic messages today? And He may be waiting to speak to you in this manner.

A prophetic message may come through an angel sent from Heaven as in the encounter between Gabriel and Mary. A heavenly message may come through someone who holds the office of a prophet, (see 1Corinthians 12:28). It may come in a dream or in a vision, and it can even come through an everyday believer in Jesus Christ as we see in Acts 2:17-18. It says, “And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions (divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [divinely suggested] dreams. Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants in those days I will pour out of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels and predicting future events pertaining especially to God’s kingdom].” AMP

God wants to speak to you. He wants you to understand His will for your life. Allow Him to speak to you prophetically as He desires.

A Prayer For the Assistance of Ministering Angels

Luke 1: 26-27 says, “Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.”

The Father sent His angel Gabriel to this earth to deliver a message to Mary that would change her life. Did you know that He still sends angels to this earth to minister to His people? The Bible says concerning these angels in Hebrews 1:14, “Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?” AMP

We need to learn to take the limits off of God, and allow Him to minister to us as He wills. Many believers are receiving angelic visitations from the Lord. I know I have had angelic activity in my life, and I expect even more ministry in this way. How about you? Where are you at in your spiritual walk with the Lord? Will you allow Him to send His ministering angels to minister to you?

Here is my petition to the Lord for you this day.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I ask You to send forth your angels to minister to the needs of my dear friends this day. That many will see, hear and receive a special angelic touch from You that will heal them in spirit, soul and body.

For those that are fighting against a spirit of death that they receive a divine healing touch and they will rise from their deathbeds completely healed.

And for all that are suffering from physical pain, sickness and disease I ask that Your ministering angels will encompass them and release their physical healing this very moment.

I pray for others that are fighting against a spirit of deception that they will receive a message of truth that will set them free, and lead them down the path of repentance, and back into the arms of the Heavenly Father.

Holy Spirit, send forth Your angels that will minister love, and acceptance to those that are contemplating suicide today. Give them the message of hope that is needed to choose life and to carry on to the victory that comes only from the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

For those that are in the place of major decisions today, that will affect the lives of them and their families, release Your ministering angels and strengthen them to do what is right according to Your Word.

Whatever the need may be, I ask that You will release Your angels to minister to them by the power of Your grace.

Word From the Lord / Salvation of My Righteous Right Hand

As I was seeking the Lord last night, Friday, November 16, 2012 during our quiet time together, He gave me the following word concerning the chaos in the Middle East at 11:15 P.M.

Grave events are taking place this week. Great mistakes will be made in the Middle East. But in the midst of chaos the world will see the mighty power of My hand upon My people.

As they try to divide My land, their land will be divided.

Peace in the end-of-time will prevail, but for now, My glory will shine down upon My people. And My people will walk in the protection of the blood of My Son.

Press in, don’t give up, and don’t be discouraged. Pick up the mighty armor I have given to you. Declare victory in the midst of despair. You will see the salvation of My righteous right hand.

Word From the Lord / Tell Them Repentance

This is a Word from the Lord that I received last night, November 15, 2012, Thursday at 10:15 P.M.

Dear Becky,

Major world events are on the verge of breaking loose. Warn the brethren to be ready, be prayed up, and be prepared for spiritual warfare. But tell them not to fear because I am ever so near. Tell them to march forward with all boldness in the power of My grace.

The earth is shaking, and it is quaking, and it is physically shifting. Wickedness is increasing, and weighing heavy on the earth. There is a direct correlation between the physical and the spiritual. And the spiritual controls the physical.

Many people are crying out for revival, but revival always starts because of repentance. Tell them to cry out for repentance, for from it will pour forth revival. A revival that cannot be stopped, cannot be quenched.

But this repentance starts in My house. A great spiritual cleansing is moving through the Church. I will scour out the wickedness. You will see many more fall away. Do not be dismayed. It is in the midst of this great spiritual cleansing that you will witness the greatest revival this world has ever seen before.

Many will cry out to Me on bended knee. The miraculous will break loose like never seen or heard before. And both Jew and Gentile will be saved.

Get ready for the New Wine that will pour forth from the throne of grace.

What 4 Things Would You Take to the New World?

This month in honor of Thanksgiving we are studying about the Pilgrims and their voyage to the New World. It is fun to work with our 4 boys and watch them recreate the story. Their imaginations run wild, as they place themselves right alongside the Pilgrims as they journey across the Atlantic Ocean and into a strange New World.

Today, they had to use their reasoning skills and make some tough decisions. Each passenger has one trunk. And they can only pack 4 things in their trunk. What 4 things would they take with them to the New World? What 4 things would they discover they could not live without?

Before making their tough decisions on what they would bring, and what would be left behind, they decided that it would be better to travel as a family and not as a lone individual. This decision gave me a sneak peek into their hearts. To them family matters and they weren’t about to embark on a new adventure without one another.

Now, it was time to decide what they were going to take with them to the other side of the world. At first, one of the boys without thinking, blurted out, “Toys!” But then he felt a little sheepish in his response as one of the older ones responded, “You can’t survive on toys!” Then the same one who said he would bring toys, shouted out, “Clothes!”. I looked at him and said you will only be allowed to bring the clothes you are wearing. So, they decided that what they wore had better be brand new, and something that would keep them warm too. As the discussion continued, they all realized they could not make decisions based upon selfish pleasures, but on what would benefit the whole family.

This started the wheels of survival skills to turn. They started to talk amongst themselves. What did they really need? They decided they would need food, shelter and protection. With this direction in mind, they started to pack their trunks.

All the boys and Dad packed a rifle to hunt for food, except for one who preferred to hunt with a bow and arrow. They packed their axes and hammers for cutting wood and building a house. And a new pair of shoes for when their first pair wore out. They decided Mom would bring a pot to cook their food in, a warm blanket to help keep the family warm, and Mom decided she would bring along a package of seeds, but most important for her family’s survival in the New World she would pack her Bible.

Now, that you heard what our family could not live without, we ask you to take a few moments and make some tough decisions too. What 4 things would you take to the New World?

Poor Vision and Migraines Healed

“After our lunch I had asked you to pray for my eyes. I am happy to report that right after, I was in a department store and suddenly noticed that I wasn’t needing to put my glasses on and off like I had been needing to do prior to the prayer.It is truly amazing we only had a few minutes to pray as Susan was in a hurry to leave that day. I have not been experiencing blurry vision any more and I been able to go off my migraine medicine and just saw the neurologist and have not had any new developments and I DON’T NEED TO SEE HER AGAIN FOR AT LEAST 6MO. I AM TRULY BLESSED…”

HAS A NATION CHANGED ITS GOD?

Through the Prophet Jeremiah, God asks a question that is still pertinent for our nation today. He asks, “Has a nation changed its gods, which are not gods?”

Today is election day in the United States of America. It is an all important election that is going to determine whether or not this great nation will continue to be a blessed nation under God, or if the hand of God’s protection will lift off of it.

The Lord is sending words of warning to His people through many different prophets. Will His people head His voice?

Let’s read the Scriptures from both the Old and the New Testaments as to what the Lord has to say concerning this matter. For further understanding you can read the first chapter of DARE to Believe for free.

“Has a nation changed its gods, which are not gods? But My people have changed their Glory for what does not profit. Be astonished, O heavens, at this, and be horribly afraid; be very desolate,” says the Lord. “For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewn themselves cisterns– broken cisterns that can hold no water. …Saying to a tree ‘You are my father,’ and to a stone, ‘You gave birth to me.’ For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face. But in the time of their trouble they will say, ‘Arise and save us.’ But where are your gods that you have made for yourselves? Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your trouble; for according to the number of your cities are your gods, O Judah” (Jeremiah 2:11-13, 27-28).

“They made a calf in Horeb, and worshiped the molded image. Thus they changed their glory into the image of an ox that eats grass” (Psalm 106:19-20).

“For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, or were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man–and birds and four-footed beasts and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies, among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature, rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen” (Romans 1: 20-25).

United States of America, have you changed your God? Have you exchanged your Glory for that which does not profit?
