Why Hasn’t God Healed Me?

This is a frequently asked question that I receive often, in fact, I just received this in my email today. “Why hasn’t God healed me?” Here is what I have found to be true according to God’s Word.

Most people miss out on their healing because of the words that they speak. Prov 18:21, teaches that there is the power of life and death in our tongues, in other words, we live today what we have been speaking yesterday.  If you continue to say things such as, “Why hasn’t God healed me?” you’ll continue to speak a curse over yourself that stops His healing power from moving through your physical body to heal. It is correct to speak God’s healing promises over yourself such as, “By His stripes I am already healed in Jesus’ name). You align the power of your spoken words with God’s Word.

Then your actions must line up with our words, James 2:14-26. If we say we are believing for God to heal us, but are planning our funerals. We are deceived, and we will have death because that is where we are exercising our faith.

According to the Word, Isaiah 53:4-5, by His stripes, whippings we have already been healed. We have to learn how to believe to receive according to His word.

Plan of Action Against Demonic Fits of Rage

Yes, we are to pray for one another, but we also need to know how to put our faith into action. I share this grandmother’s prayer request with my response, a plan of action against demonic fits of rage … I share this with all of you, because many are dealing with these uncontrollable meltdowns, and entire families are suffering. But we have authority in Jesus’ name over satan and all of his wicked works against us. And it is time that we activate this all powerful authority in Jesus’ name. “Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Sandra writes: I would like a healing prayer for my grandson whom is 7 years old and is having a very hard time at he is ADHD. He has lots of rages of anger in which when he has these meltdowns it’s like he is evil cussing every bad word in the book hitting and screaming and mainly at school he is on medication and it seems to work when we think things are getting better he will recess to square one. Teachers and principals are all trying to work with him. Please pray that he can rid of the anger and that God will put peace in his heart and let him be a normal child we are currently looking for help for him but I know one of the biggest help is God. He has two siblings and none has been taken to a church as infants to be blessed I myself am not a permanent church goer but I was raised going to church and know who God is and I would tell my children about him too I have taught my grandsons to pray before sleeping and when they are my home we do every night.my daughter in law also needs a healing prayer to help her with her bipolar sickness and that God will help get rid of her cursing. Please pray for all and that God can work a healing miracle on my grandson. Thank you. Sandra.

Dear Sandra,

This is demon activity attacking your grandson. Not knowing all the details, other than what you have shared in great detail here is what you need to do:

  1. Pray a prayer of repentance over yourself, and family.
  2. Forgive anyone you may be bitter towards, release them from your vengeance.
  3. Anoint your grandson with oil in the name of Jesus Christ, command the angry, violent, vial, dirty evil spiritS off of him.
  4. Declare that a blood line of Jesus is drawn around him.
  5. Release ministering angels to encircle him and they cry out the name of Jesus Christ 24×7, and others declare “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, Who was, Who is, and Who is to come.” 24×7 around your grandson.
  6. Go through the house, and get rid of all satanic stuff, trinkets, music, books, dvds… Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal these things to you. Do not give them away to someone else, get rid of them, break them, burn them…
  7. Anoint all doorways, windows… with oil and declare the power of the Holy Spirit to infiltrate that place.
  8. Play worship music 24×7, it does not have to be loud, but constant. Demons hate this and can’t handle it.
  9. Pray in the Spirit over your grandson.
  10. Write up a confession of faith for his deliverance, make it strong, leave nothing out. And read it out loud over him several times per day. Record it if possible on a cd and play this constantly. There is the power of life and death in every word that we speak, even moans and groans have a meaning to them.

Inner Wounds that Only Jesus Can Heal

There are times in life that our hearts are overwhelmed with sorrow and grief, and that unspeakable pain that permeates one’s being. It’s times like these that we must find the way to heal.

Allow yourself to become vulnerable to family and friends that truly want to help in your time of need. They love you, and care about you. You will find you do not have to explain much, they already know and understand the situation. They desire to be a support beam for you to lean upon when you feel weak.

And then there are those unexpected people that God will speak to concerning you to find a way to reach out to you to also help to carry you through. Don’t be closed minded, you may find a rich jewel in a new friendship that will bless you in your time of sorrow.

Then there are times when the people around you are not able to reach inside and heal the deep wound of sorrow. This is the time when you need to choose to grab a hold of the Spirit of the Living God for help, inner healing, peace and strength that does not come from this world.

I share a testimony in my new book, The Healing Creed about a woman who lost all 5 of her children in one tragic day. And how she finally found her way with Jesus to inner healing, peace, and the strength to live another day with the assurance that it was okay to smile again. She overcame the fear based control that prevented others to come near her. Her ashes, sorrow and hopelessness were healed by Jesus alone, and transformed into His beauty. The spirit of heaviness fell off and she found joy once again.

There are different levels of healing, and God uses people to help us through difficult trials in this life, and then there is a deep inner healing that only God alone can heal, but we have to choose to wipe the ashes of sorrow off and allow Him to wash us with His atoning blood, and make us whole again.

Do Your Words Hurt or Heal?

Is it true that “Sticks and stones may break my bones (but words will never hurt me)? As small children we used to chant this when we were on the defense. But is this really true?

God’s Word says in the Book of Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.” Those are serious results to words spoken.

Words have the power within themselves to destroy or restore, to make sick or to heal, to weaken or to strengthen. Words either curse or they bless.

What if one constantly speaks out that he is nothing but a poor man. What will he be? He will be poor. By his own mouth he curses his finances.

Proverbs 23:7a, “For as he thinks within himself, so he is.” And Matthew 15:18 reveals the end result of negative thinking, “But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man.”

If another says she is always sick and tired, how will her body respond? It will be sick and tired. By the power of her own words she wears out her physical body and destroys her health.

Proverbs 16:24 shares insight to the power of positive words and the physical effects they have upon our minds, emotions and bodies when spoken. “Pleasant words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”

What happens when a husband and wife constantly tear each other down with words of insults? They become hurt, angry and bitter towards one another. And eventually, they destroy their relationship. Proverbs 15:1b tells us that harsh words stir up anger. And Proverbs 18:19a says, “A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city”

Negative words hurt you and others, and sometimes their damage is almost irreversible. Choose your words well and heal, instead of hurt.

Scripture Reading: Proverbs 25.

Do You Believe?

Do you believe in the power of faith to receive miracles? Or does your human reasoning resist God’s supernatural ways? Do you readily surrender to His Spirit? Or do you lock arms against Him?

There are many Christians today that believe in Jesus, but they don’t believe Him. They believe just enough to receive eternal life in Heaven, but shun abundant life while on this earth. And then they wonder where is God in their time of need.

For  a large sector of God’s people it is more comfortable for them to say this sickness and disease come from God, then to trust in His word and declare, “by His stripes we are healed”.

Many would rather live a precarious spiritual life, then abide in the safety of the Almighty. But when calamity comes, and it does come on this fallen earth they shake their fist at God and ask, “Why?”

Jesus’ words are very clear when He says, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.” Matthew 21:21.

And He commissions us with these words, “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Mark 16:17-18.

He says to the woman with the issue of blood, “Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” Luke 8:48.

Jesus challenges Jairus concerning his daughter who died, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.” Luke 8:50.

And he said to the blind man, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” Luke 18:42.

To have faith in God is to believe, and to believe is to trust Him. You can trust Him, even when it does not make sense to do so. But when you do, you activate His supernatural power and the miraculous invades your natural realm, and that miracle you so desire comes to pass. It’s time to not just believe in Him, but to believe Him.

How to Find God’s Peace

Let’s face it, sometimes life is hard. Jesus tells us that in this world we will have difficulties, but He tells us to be of good cheer, see John 16:33. How is it possible to be full of good cheer when we are facing an onslaught of negativity? Philippians 4:8-9 shows us how, Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.Let’s look at what the Holy Spirit revealed to the apostle Paul concerning this.

  • He says, “Finally, brethren, (God’s people) whatever things are true.” No matter how difficult the situation, truth is what will set you free.  “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32.
  • Whatever things are noble, (honest, honorable). “The integrity of the upright guides them,
but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. Proverbs 11:3. Honesty sets you free, learn to be honorable in all that you do.
  • Whatever things are just, (righteous, observing divine laws). “Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.” Proverbs 21:21. Righteousness is defined throughout God’s Word, and if you will pursue His ways you will harvest righteousness.
  • Whatever things are pure, (innocent). “Do all things without grumbling or disputing; so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world.” Think, speak, and act out innocence in your life, and you will have God’s peace. Philippians 2:14-15. And it is noteworthy to add Matthew 10:16, “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.” Jesus warns us to be spiritually wise, but innocent in our actions. When we act with hostility, or out of vengeance we lose our peace.
  • Whatever things are lovely, (acceptable, pleasing). 2 Corinthians 10:5, “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.  Think about what you are thinking about. Are your thoughts pleasing to God? Are they filled with godliness or selfishness and rebellion? Do they compromise the Word of God? If Jesus were to read your thoughts right now would you feel embarrassment or approval?
  • Whatever things are of a good report, (reputable, auspicious, conducive to future success, favorable, prosperous, encouraging). Isaiah 53:7 proclaims, “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”” We are to focus on what’s good, that does not mean we ignore what’s happening around us, but that we are to listen to those that deliver hope, and better yet be the ones to carry hope to those that have lost their way, and release the healing power of  hope that mends the brokenhearted in this world.  If you fill yourself with negative reports and images you eventually will lose your peace and joy. You may need to turn off the local news media, and take a sabbath from social media. If you have peace robbers around you, you may need to tell them to stop their negativity when they are around you, and if they are unwilling to change their ways you need to just kindly walk away.
  • If there is any virtue, (moral goodness and excellence, modesty and purity). “Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” 1 Corinthians 15:33. You need to free yourself from doubt and confusion that no matter what the current opinion of society may be, your morals do not come from the world, but from God’s Word. You, yourself are to study the 10 commandments to learn of moral goodness and excellence found in Exodus 20, and live by God’s ways.
  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
  2. You shall not make for yourself an idol.
  3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.
  4. Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
  5. Honor your father and mother.
  6. You shall not murder.
  7. You shall not commit adultery.
  8. You shall not steal.
  9. You shall not lie.
  10. You shall not covet.

And Jesus’ response in regards to the great commandment from Matthew 22:36-40, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”  Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’  On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

When Jesus says, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.“, He is referring to the first four commandments. And the remaining six are how to treat others. If you will live out the 10 Commandments we will have the peace of God reigning in your life.

  • If there is anything praiseworthy, (laudation, the act of praising, commendable, deserving attention or approval). “Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 AMP. We are to wield our thoughts, conversations, deeds to those things that are praiseworthy and deserving of our attention and approval. Again, if we will do life God’s way, we will walk in His peace.
  • And lastly, we are to meditate on these things, (to reckon inward, count up, weigh the reasons, to deliberate). If we will weigh the things of life according to God’s Word we will receive His peace about the situation. “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Joshua 1:8. And this is the good report that Paul admonishes us with that creates the spiritual atmosphere to dwell in God’s peace, that only manifests by living God’s way.

His Manifest Presence

Scripture Reading: Genesis 1:3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

Did you ever realize that when God speaks, “Let there be light” in this verse that He does not refer to the sun, moon and stars?  The creation of these heavenly lights can be found on the fourth day, but we are still on the first day of creation.  (See Genesis 1:14-19.)

What is this light that He refers to? It is His manifest presence on the scene.

When we allow His presence to manifest, His glory overshadows the darkness and the conditions have no choice but to change. Evil bows to good, darkness reforms to light, corruptible to incorruptible, imperfect to perfect, and impossible to possible.

If you are in need of a miracle the best thing you can do is to find your way into the very presence of God and allow His power overtake and heal you. There is no sickness or disease that can withstand the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Is there an area in your life that needs the power of the manifest presence of the Lord to shine into?

Faith Creates

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Genesis 1:1

Scripture Reading: Psalm 33:6-9

Faith is creative. Like an artist with a paintbrush in hand, it skillfully uses the power of the spoken word, to paint a masterpiece. Except the canvas that it creates upon is real and alive and it has no boundaries. And the base of its paint is the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ.

Elohim, (the Father, the Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit), creates the world by the power of the spoken word. God says, “Let there be…” and there was, (see Genesis 1). And He gives to us this same ability to create with our words. We are to call things that are not as though they already were, see Romans 4:17.

A man stands before me during a healing service, as tears run down his face he explains to me what he has. He’s an artist and he sculpts beautiful statues for a living. But he is now completely blind in one eye and is losing his sight in the other. He simply can no longer create without his eyesight.

I look at the man and say, “The Lord gives you your artistic talent, and His will is that you create for His glory.” I reach out and touch his eyes and speak words of life over them and immediately he can see.

Faith uses the power of the spoken word to create, and in this case it creates sight for the blind, and hope for the hopeless.

Dear Holy Spirit,

Teach me how to use the power of my words to create for Your glory.

In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
