Will You Judge God Faithful to Heal?

Your situation may seem too difficult for a miracle, perhaps there is no medical cure, or it has been a life-long condition that you have grown accustomed to. Your 5 senses, human reasoning, and medical reports shout this is impossible. Even though, you know the Scriptures say that with God all things are possible, you still struggle with doubt and unbelief.

There was a woman named Sarai, (later her name was changed to Sarah) and she faced an impossible situation. She was barren and even though she was given a promise by God that she would birth a son, she could not see herself ever having a child. Like her husband, Abram, (later his name was changed to Abraham) she had no hope to have a child of her own. Instead of seeing God as her hope, she blamed Him for her barrenness. Sizing up the situation in the natural and using her five senses and human understanding as her guide, she came up with a plan of her own. Abram agreed and conceived a child with her maidservant, Hagar (see Gen. 16). This meddling plan she schemed up was not God’s plan; it was conceived of the flesh, not by faith, and it gave no glory to God, Sarai too had a hard lesson to learn, for now she was despised in the eyes of her maidservant. She made a mess of the situation, and God’s promise did not come to pass.

In order to have a miracle you must first have an impossible situation. And it is important to remember that God’s promise for a miracle cannot be brought to fruition via your human plan or reasoning. You need to submit to God’s supernatural means, faith. And faith is how to obtain your miracle.

Like I said, this woman of God, Sarai made a mess out of the situation and made matters worse because she chose not to trust God by faith and came up with a reasonable solution to a supernatural promise. But God is merciful, and 13 years later He visited her and her husband again and said that if they would listen and this time do it His way, she would bear a son within one year.

Sarah had a decision to make in order for this miraculous promise to come to pass. Would she believe or not? When she first heard the prophetic message from God’s messengers that she would bear a child, she laughed with doubt and unbelief. After all, she was 89 years of age, passed the age of child baring, and she had been barren all her life. When the messengers asked why she laughed at God’s promise, she lied and denied that she had laughed, but they corrected her.  And just as it was with Sarah, God knows what’s in your heart, and your heart needs to be cleansed of all doubt an unbelief for your miracle to come to pass.

Hebrews 11:11 tells us what Sarah had decided. “By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.”

Because she made the right decision, and this was a tough decision to make, all human reasoning and her 5 senses screamed this was impossible, but because she judged God faithful to keep His promise she received strength to conceive and bear Abraham’s son, Isaac at the age of 90. What an amazing woman of faith she became. Will you be like her and judge our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ faithful to keep His promise and conceive the strength to receive your healing and miracle?

Need Advice How to Minister Healing

“Morning Becky, if you have time I need a little advise. I am going to pray for a man who has cancer and is dying. His daughter who goes to our church said she is at peace because he is born again. I would say he is mid 60’s. I told him I would come over to pray and that I expect a complete recovery. I will curse the cancer and command it to leave along with new life to flow into him in Jesus’ name and also pray as the Holy Spirit leads me.”

Dear Mike,

1. Ask the man what he wants. You want to bring him to the place where he himself confesses life. You will probably need to do a little teaching about God’s will concerning healing. Read to him from Chapter 3, Resolving Doubts and Questions , focusing in on “Premature Death” on pages 81-83 of DARE to Believe. Make it very clear that God is not the author of cancer and premature death, but the giver of life.
2. Encourage him that God says we are to choose life. Its a decision that he has to make, but life is God’s will always. He needs to confess that He wills for him to be healed and live.
3. Lay your hands upon him, I would anoint him with oil, he needs a strong visual. Renounce the spirit of death, cancer, pain, fear and unbelief. Release the Spirit of life to flow into his body, cells, blood, effected body parts. Command the pain and swelling to leave. (Pain is a controller you need to get it off of him.) Command cells, blood, body parts and systems to be recreated, to function together to produce life. Declare the Word over him that he will live and not die.
4. Spend time teaching him that his words have the power to create or to destroy and give him actual confessions to speak.
5. If you can baptize him with the Holy Spirit and have him pray in the Spirit everyday over his body, his healing will manifest more rapidly.

I know that is quite a list, but he is suffering from the result of wrong doctrine.

How to Walk Out a Progressive Healing

Many people struggle to know how to respond when their healings do not manifest immediately. Here are some keys to walking out these progressive healings.

  1. Submit and Resist.

James 4:7 gives us the first key, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

  • Submit to God.
  • Resist the devil.
  • The devil will flee from you.

Submission is a matter of the heart; it’s having the right attitude toward God and His Word. We can obey God and still not be submissive because obedience is an act, while submission is an attitude. Resisting is also a matter of the heart. In this case it’s a decision to refuse to surrender to the enemy’s thoughts of doubt and unbelief toward God and His Word. When we submit to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us.

A Personal Testimony

I was in Lilongwe, Malawi stepping off the bus to walk to healing campaign to minister healing to the people. But as soon as my foot touched the ground an excruciating pain shot through my knee along with many other symptoms. The closer I came to the platform the worse it became. The symptoms of the people started to jump all over my physical body.

I immediately cried out to God in my heart for His strength and healing from all the symptoms of pain and sickness that suddenly came upon me. And as I taught the Word, and declared to the people the specific healings according to the symptoms that manifested on my body the people were healed and the symptoms left my body as well. Everyone, except for one, my knee.

What did I do?

I did not exalt the enemy by voicing this attack with moans and groans and telling everyone that came into my presence about the pain I was in. Instead, I continued to thank the Lord that He was my healer. Was this difficult? Yes.  But it was a quality decision that released my healing.

When my husband heard my bone rubbing on bone and asked me if that was my knee, I answered him, “In Jesus’ name, my knee is healed.” The Bible is very clear that we are to declare things that are not as though they already are. Romans 4:17 says, “(as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;”

This is faith talk. And many Christians seem to have a problem with this. Some say it is lying. No, it’s using the creative force of the tongue that God has given to us. Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” It’s putting trust in God’s promise to heal us, and not in the pain and sickness.

It sounds radical I know. But it is exactly how our God is, and how He operates. And He instructs us in and throughout His word to do the same.

I could have easily given into this physical attack on my body. My five senses and human reasoning were warring against my confession of faith for the healing of my knee. The enemy didn’t want me healed, so he fought me. Other people were questioning me because they could hear bones rubbing against one another as I walked. But I chose to be like Abraham in Romans 4 and did not exalt the enemy’s evil or the pain, but declared the glory of my healer, Jesus Christ.

It took a few days, but with each pain-filled step I thanked the Lord that my knee was healed, and my cartilage was recreated, every bone, muscle, ligament, tendon and nerve in my knee was brand new for the glory of my God.

With every step I resisted the curse of the enemy. He grew weary of my persistence to submit to God and to trust in His healing promise, and he gave up. He released his grip on my knee. He fled from me, and the recreation of my knee manifested.

This is how we walk out James 4:7, and submit to our God, resist our enemy, the devil, and see him flee from us, and witness our miracle manifest.

How to Encourage When Healing Tarries?

How do you encourage the faith of someone that has been waiting for a long time for healing to manifest?

Depending upon how well you know the person, I would suggest that you spend time with this person and listen carefully to what they are actually saying concerning healing. Let them talk from the depth of their heart about life and healing. By listening to them and to the leading of the Holy Spirit carefully, you will be able to tell what is blocking their healing from manifesting.

Usually, if a long period of time has passed, they are discouraged and somewhere along the line they have entered into the realm of doubt and are in need of teaching that God is able and willing to heal them. Most of the time we are not even aware of doubt.

Or it may be a pain issue, in this case, the person needs to be encouraged and taught from the Bible how to overcome the realm of the 5 senses, while they activate their faith.

It could be that this person has had a very difficult life, and there is a root of bitterness that needs to be pulled out from them. Perhaps, depression has set in, or they have accepted satan’s lie that they are not worthy to be loved by God, and therefore, cannot receive His goodness, such as supernatural healing.

These individuals need to learn how to forgive, trust God, and move forward in life. The only way this can be done is that they first, make the quality decision to move forward with God. Second, they need to be taught how to recognize the truth of God’s Word, from the lie of satan. And learn to do as 2 Corinthians 10:5 instructs us, “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,”   They need to be discipled in God’s Word, so that they can heal and be made whole.

These are just a few hindrances that can block our faith for healing when it tarries.

What we, the encouragers need to do is be quiet and learn to listen for the root of the problem, and minister to the hurting along these lines. Usually, these individuals need to start their healing process over again, and this time be trained properly in the Word concerning healing.

Pray Psalm 91

black and white woman Bible oceanDo you fear persecution and the uncertainty of the times we live in?  What will happen with your job? Your family? Your life? Do you sense the need for tighter security around you?  Do you sense the need for more reassurance of the Lord’s faithfulness?  If so, you are not alone, many Christians struggle with fear concerning these Last Days.

How can we overcome these overwhelming feelings of fear and insecurity?  One way to calm our hearts is to pray, and not just any prayer, but pray the Word of God.

I believe in the power of praying God’s Word over ourselves and our families. Let’s begin with Psalm 91 from the NKJV of the Bible.

  • Read it several times to familiarize yourself with it.
  • After you are familiar with it, start with verse one and personalize it for yourself.
  • Meditate upon His protection.
  • Start to memorize this portion of Scripture.
  • When fearful thoughts come to taunt you quote Psalm 91 aloud.
  • Allow the power of God’s Word to encourage you today.
  1. “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” It is our responsibility to choose who we will spend our time with during these turbulent times. We can spend our time with the spirit of fear, or we can make a quality decision and spend our time with the Lord. There is protection and provision when we are under the boundary of His shadow.
  2. ” I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”” Declaring the attributes of the Lord is a powerful, but humble way to address the Lord. And He honors our faith in Him.
  3. “Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.” What encouragement this can stir within us when we vocalize His greatness over our enemy, satan and all of his wicked works.
  4. “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” This Scripture is visually filled with His tenderness towards us, and assures us of His divine protection.
  5. “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.” With God we do not need to fear what comes against us in the supernatural realm, nor do we need to be afraid of what could rise against us in the physical realm either. God is with us at all times.
  6. “Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.” He has given us authority over things that can do us harm.
  1. “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.” Again, we have a boundary of protection as we abide under His shadow.”
  2. “Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.” It is reassuring to know that we will be spared from the consequences of sin.
  3. “Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place,” This is confirmation of our security that we have in Him. And no matter what we will face in the days ahead he is our security.
  1. “No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;” These are great statements of faith to declare over ourselves verbally every day.
  2. “For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.”  He sends His ministering spirits to protect us from evil.
  3. “In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.” The angels have been signed a plan of action on our behalf.
  4. “You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.” He gives to us authority over all of our enemies.
  5. “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.” This is the reason we can activate the power of His redemption.
  6. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.” These words bring assurance to us that no matter what happens in this life, He will respond to our need.
  7. “With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.” These are promised benefits that come from personal relationship with Him.

These are trying times, and we need to take control over a spirit of fear concerning these last days. Praying the Word of God gives strength and peace to our mind and emotions, and changes our focus from fear to His faithful.

Use Wisdom in These Last Days

It appears that we are living in the Last Days, and the Scriptures caution us to be on the alert concerning spiritual pitfalls. We are warned about the rise of false leaders bringing in false teachings and doctrines of demons. We are told to be in the world, but not of the world, to guard ourselves from sexual immorality and all forms of ungodliness, to study the Word, to be filled with the Holy Spirit, to be passionate and not lethargic towards Jesus, to keep our hearts pure before the Lord and to remain faithful until the end. Yet, we continue to see Christians fall into foolish practices and fulfill the end time’s prophecy that many will fall away from the faith.

Once while teaching at a Holy Spirit conference, a young woman came up during ministry time and said to me, “Lay your hand on me, I want your passion for Jesus. I want what you have.” I looked at her with all sincerity and said, “You can have what I have, and even more. But I can’t lay my hand on you, and cause you to be passionate for Christ. You have to make a quality decision to pursue Him for yourself.”

There are certain things that we can release into other people by the laying on of hands, such as healing, deliverance, Baptism of the Holy Spirit, releasing the simple prophetic gift to see dreams and visions, but a passion for Christ, no. And I will add that touching a person with a special anointing by God that is walking in a specific calling does not guarantee someone an easy ticket into the same type of ministry. An example of this is the practice of grave soaking, which is a doctrine of demons and Christians should not take part in this type of activity. We are not to fix our eyes on people, dead or alive but on Jesus Christ alone.

It’s natural to desire a special anointing, but we need to realize that it is God who appoints and anoints an individual for a special calling. And that person has undergone a time of preparation. Before they are released into the ministry, they are led into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit to test the motives of their heart. And if and when they pass this test, they are then released into the ministry.  (See Luke 4). We need to understand that anointing is given freely by God, but it is not cheap.

How do we protect ourselves from satan’s schemes to lead us astray? How do we ready ourselves during these last days?  The answers to these questions are found within a parable that Jesus taught concerning 10 virgins; 5 were wise and the other 5 were foolish, see Matthew 25: 1-13.

The prudent were ready to meet their bridegroom, even when the announcement of his arrival came unexpectedly during the midnight hour. They each carried their own lamp filled with oil. And because they did not know the exact timing of his arrival, they each brought an extra flask of oil to make sure they could find their way through the darkness.

Now, the foolish virgins were not ready when they heard the shout to come and meet the bridegroom. They did not even have oil for their lamps, and asked those that were prepared to give them some of their oil. But to their dismay the wise virgins declined their request and told them to go and buy their own oil. And while they went to purchase the much needed oil, the bridegroom came and those that were ready went with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut.

Later, the 5 foolish virgins came and asked the Lord to open the door. But it was too late, the door was already closed, and they were left behind. And he said to them, “Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.”

And there is a warning in verse 13 for all of us, “Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.”

How then do we protect ourselves from being led astray and left behind? We need to be like the wise virgins and prepare ourselves spiritually now to meet the Lord whenever He calls.

These things prevented the foolish virgins from entering into the wedding feast.

1. They were not prepared to meet the bridegroom.

2. They did not purchase oil for their lamps.

3. The Lord did not know them.

What do we need to protect and prepare ourselves?

1. Salvation is the first step to prepare to meet Jesus. “Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3).

2. The study of the Word to teach us how to live faithfully. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalms 119:105).

3. The Holy Spirit to empower our lamps. “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8).

4. An intimate relationship with the Lord to protect us from a religious spirit.  “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’  And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matt 7:21-23).

May we be wise and not foolish during these last days.

Biblical Ways to Overcome Addiction

So many Christians are in bondage to addictive behaviors, they want to be free, but don’t know how. One such young woman came forward for ministry at a healing conference in Kentucky. Her addiction was cigarettes and it had control over her. But she wanted deliverance and freedom. I laid hands upon her and renounced the spirit of addiction in her, and declared that from now on when she would try to smoke a cigarette she would start to vomit. And she put it to the test. As soon as the service was over she ran outside and took a puff of a cigarette and her body immediately started to vomit on the Church steps. Her body now rejected what it once craved. But along with physical deliverance, her soul, mind and emotions, needed to be healed and renewed to remain free from the addiction.

You may be like this woman with an addiction to some type of sinful behavior and need deliverance and renewal of your mind.  So, here is a plan of action from the Scriptures to help you overcome any and all addictive behaviors.

  1. Before you can overcome an addiction you first have to admit that you have a problem and that it is a sin. James 5:16, instructs us to, “Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.” (NASB)
  2. Make a quality decision that you will do whatever is necessary to be free from this ungodly behavior. There is a plan to freedom in James 4:7, “Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (NKJV)

How do you submit to God and resist the devil?

  • Ask God for forgiveness. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  1 John 1:9
  • Read the Bible and cleanse yourself spiritually.  “That He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word.” Ephesians 5:26
  • Listen to faith building messages. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17
  • Fast and pray for deliverance. “So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.”” Mark 9:29
  • Pray in the Spirit to encourage yourself. “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” Jude 1:20
  • Take control of your thoughts. “… Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 10:5
  • Confess out loud the promises of God over yourself. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21
  • Keep your joy level strong. “Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”” Nehemiah 8:10
  • Be full of the Holy Spirit. “And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,  speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord,  giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:18-20
  • Don’t take on stress or worry. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6
  • Be accountable and surround yourself with supportive people. “Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”” 1 Corinthians 15:33

A spirit of addition is out to control and destroy you. And to be free you have to make a quality decision that you will do whatever it takes to be delivered from its destructive power. If you will do these things on a daily basis, eventually you will break free from sinful and addictive behaviors. The enemy will flee from you, and the freedom you so desire will be yours.

A Message For The Backslidden Church

Jesus has an important message for the Church that has left their first love, their Savior, Jesus Christ. Let’s read and discuss what He has to say to the Backslidden Church.

But let’s first read Revelation 2: 1-7.

“To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, ‘These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands: “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent. But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’

This message is written to the Church of Ephesus, which also applies to the modern Church today. First of all, the name Ephesus signifies the spiritual condition of this body of believers. Ephesus means to let go or to relax. (See End Notes.) This is exactly what the Church of Ephesus does, it let’s go of their first love, their Redeemer, Jesus. They fall out of love with Him, and just go through the motions.

He tells us the reason for this in Matthew 24:12 “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”

2 Timothy 7:21-23 tells us that “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

These are people who call themselves believers in Jesus, who prophesy, cast out demons and produce miracles. The Lord says, “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. (See Matthew 15:8.) We are forewarned about this in  2 Timothy 3: 1-5, But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!”

This is the condition of the Church of Ephesus, and the Backslidden Church today. And according to Proverbs 3:12 because He loves us He rebukes, disciplines and tells us to be earnest and to repent.  And He has the following rebuke and warning for this portion of the Church today. He says,  “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.

The Bible tells us how to overcome in this area. “For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins.” (See 2 Peter 1:5-9.)

And Hebrews 12:1-3 tells us how not to grow weary and lose heart, Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

It all begins with a decision to look within and see where you are at spiritually with the Lord. David cries out to the Lord, Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me and know my anxious thoughts; and see if there be any hurtful way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way.” (Psalm 139:23-24.) I encourage you to do the same.

Let’s pray.

Father God,

I come to You today, and ask for Your forgiveness because my heart is far from You. I am just going through the motions. I need Your help to find my way back to You. I want to be faithful to You until the end my days. I want to hear You say to me, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” (See Matthew 25:23.) I thank You for forgiving me, and receiving me back to You. I love You.

In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

How to Present the Good News

Have you ever heard the way in which you present Jesus to others? We are to share the Good News with nonbelievers. The Good News is not, “Hey, you lousy sinner, you are going to burn in hell!”  That is not good news. And that’s not smart witnessing either.

The Good News is filled with hope for something better. The smart way to share Jesus is to say something like, “I know things have not turned out as you wished, you’ve made some bad decisions, you have found yourself in a tough spot… but I care, and more importantly God cares. In fact, He cares so much about you that He sent His son Jesus into this world to suffer and die for you, so that you could be forgiven of your sins, and delivered from this situation…”

The second presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ opens up the door to the receiver. It shows compassion and understanding which will soften hardened hearts to listen and possibly receive what you have to share.

Then after the door is open continue on and tell them how to receive Jesus. Tell them the Bible says “if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (See Romans 10:9.) Now, when I share Jesus with people, I keep it simple, I do not bombard them with Scripture references. I share maybe a 1 or 2 Scriptures at the most. Also, you can relax when you share about Jesus to others, you do not have to quote the Scriptures word for word in this situation. Give them the basic facts in a way that they can receive from you.

1.The Bible says…

2. If you believe in your heart…

3.  Jesus died on the Cross for your sins and was raised from the dead and is alive today.

4. If you believe this and will speak it from your mouth that you believe…

5. Then you will be saved.

Then ask them, “Do you believe this?” If they say yes, then offer to pray with them. Ask them to repeat a simple prayer, like the following example.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. I have examined my heart, and I do acknowledge and admit that I have sinned against You and Your Word. Your Words says, in Romans 10:9-10, “If you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart, that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Father God, I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe that He died on the cross to save me from my sins, went to hell in my place, rose again three days later, and is alive and seated at Your right side in heaven.

Jesus, forgive me of all my sins. Thank You, for saving me from sin, hell, and myself. I ask You to come into my life to be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for loving me and accepting me just as I am.

In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Afterwards, look them in the eye and smile, welcome them to the family of God. Invite them to come to Church or Bible study group with you.

This is presenting the Good News to the lost and needy in a smart, kind and caring manner.

Prayer for the Assistance of Ministering Angels

Luke 1: 26-27 says, “Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.”

The Father sent His angel Gabriel to this earth to deliver a message to Mary that would change her life. Did you know that He still sends angels to this earth to minister to His people? The Bible says concerning these angels in Hebrews 1:14, “Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?” AMP

We need to learn to take the limits off of God, and allow Him to minister to us as He wills. Many believers are receiving angelic visitations from the Lord. I know I have had angelic activity in my life, and I expect even more ministry in this way. How about you? Where are you at in your spiritual walk with the Lord? Will you allow Him to send His ministering angels to minister to you?

Here is my petition to the Lord for you this day.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I ask You to send forth your angels to minister to the needs of my dear friends this day. That many will see, hear and receive a special angelic touch from You that will heal them in spirit, soul and body.

For those that are fighting against a spirit of death that they receive a divine healing touch and they will rise from their deathbeds completely healed.

And for all that are suffering from physical pain, sickness and disease I ask that Your ministering angels will encompass them and release their physical healing this very moment.

I pray for others that are fighting against a spirit of deception that they will receive a message of truth that will set them free, and lead them down the path of repentance, and back into the arms of the Heavenly Father.

Holy Spirit, send forth Your angels that will minister love and acceptance to those that are contemplating suicide today. Give them the message of hope that is needed to choose life and to carry on to the victory that comes only from the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

For those that are in the place of major decisions today, that will affect the lives of them and their families, release Your ministering angels and strengthen them to do what is right according to Your Word.

Whatever the need may be, I ask that You will release Your angels to minister to them by the power of Your grace.

In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
