Consistency with Your Confession of Faith is the Key

Consistency with your confession of faith is the key when it comes to bringing your miraculous transformation to fruition.

If you are constantly whining and complaining you will not have a miraculous intervention. This is what the Israelites did. And because of it they ended up wandering around in the desert for 40 years when it was only an 11 day journey. They complained about everything and were thankful for nothing. Think about all that the Lord had done for them, supernaturally rescued them from their enemy, and  provided for their every need. He provided supernaturally protection from plagues, and the spirit of death, and again by supernatural means gave them direction by a cloud in the daylight, and protection by a  pillar of fire in the night, a made a way of escape for them from their enemy by parting the Red Sea, satisfied their thirst by pouring water from a rock, rained down fresh bread, and quail (meat) from heaven. Their clothing and their shoes did not even wear out. And all they could do was complain and accuse God and their leaders of evil intentions.

We read this and think to ourselves how spiritually blind they were, but we can act just like they did. God gives us everything we have need of and yet we allow our confession of faith to be filled with doubt and unbelief. How do we change this?

  1. It is needful for us to repent for our willful and negative confessions of faith.
  2. We need to ask forgiveness for the reason behind these negative words against our God and His readiness to meet our every need.
  3. The next step is to ask Holy Spirit for His help to teach us to hear how negatively we speak against the promises of God.
  4. And along with Holy Spirit’s help to hear how we speak, we need to ask Him to teach us how to speak with faith for our needs to be met.
  5. We need to focus on the promise of God to meet our need, and not on the problem.
  6. We need to make a quality decision to use the power of our words and speak God’s promises no matter what is going on in our bodies or the situations around us.
  7. And we have to speak faith on a consistent basis, and not just once in a while.

If we will put these 7 principles into practice our confessions of faith will produce what they are meant to.

Might This Be the Delay of Your Physical Healing?

A friend writes and asks a few questions concerning a family that she has been praying and believing with for deliverance and healing. And it has been a long process. What’s going on with this situation? What might be the delay of their physical healing from manifesting? Let’s discuss this right now.

My friend writes, “Hi Becky, I was just speaking with Alexandria’s mother to find out how she was doing.  And I believe we are getting closer to the breakthrough in this situation.”

I respond with a hearty, “Amen! We’ve been standing for a long time for this, but many layers had to be peeled away first.”

My response stirs another question from her, “In Bible I don’t remember Jesus or the apostles telling people to “get their lives in order” before they could be healed. He said go and sin no more or your sins are forgiven, so I get confused by comments like layers being peeled away. Please help me to understand. ”

I respond, “I agree, but in the situation you mentioned they have so much baggage in their lives that they have a difficult time to have faith to believe. It’s not God withholding. The issue is with them, there is so much emotional baggage they struggle to believe. And  I am telling you, faith only operates by love.”

She responds, “Aren’t we, “the ones who believe” the ones responsible for casting out/laying hands on…and as we believe, Jesus is with us, confirming His Word with signs (healing, deliverance and salvation) following?

Dear friend, this is another great question and the answer is this, “When it comes to unbelievers, yes, we are the ones who activate our faith. Jesus says the following in Mark 16: 15-18, “ And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.  He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

But when it comes to believers in Christ, God expects each one of us to operate by our own faith. That’s why Jesus is recorded in different occasions stating that it is by “Your faith” that you are healed, and you are made whole. And even though we are to join our faith together, we are still responsible to strengthen our own faith to obtain our miracles.

Also, we tend to forget that our soul, (the mind and the emotions) need to be healed too. And I have often found that until we deal with the root issues of the problem the healing is hindered. And in the situation mentioned above, this family had many serious issues that had to be peeled away, just like an onion is peeled, (and every layer stings and causes tears to flow) before they could even begin to stand confident in the faith to believe for the physical healing of their son. And to you reading this post, this may be the reason for the delay with the manifestation of your physical healing too.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need, Hebrews 4:16.

Remnant, Come Forth –Prophetic Word

Word of the Lord—January 7, 2020

The Spirit of the Lord would say to you this day,

“The heavens are open, and the oil is pouring.

It is pouring down upon My people for this last hour.

For this last hour you will need the refreshing of My Spirit.

Your lamps must stay lit in this dark hour that is quickly coming upon you.

And along with your lit lamps you must have the extra oil to maintain the power of that light within you.

The last great harvest is ready, but yet, only a few are willing to harvest.

I am calling upon the strength of My remnant in this dark hour to bring them, the lost onto Me.

Bring them swiftly onto Me, before they are lost for an eternity.

With all boldness, take a stand for Me and My righteousness.

This stance will cause tribulations to manifest all around you,

But know even through the tribulations I am with you.

I will never leave you, I am with you throughout all eternity.

My oil longs to burn out all impurities within you.

Allow My cleansing power to have its way with you.

For out from this fiery cleansing comes forth the Bride who is without spot or wrinkle.

This is the day that I have made.

And this day is for the refreshing of My people.

Be filled and overflowing with the power of My Spirit.

For this is the only way to move forward in these last days—in the power of My might.

In your own strength you cannot overcome the power of the antichrist, but in My strength alone I have made you an overcomer, a conqueror, more than a conqueror—created to win, and over power that enemy of old.

The Remnant come forth—those who are willing to follow after Me and remain obedient to My commands, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.”

Compromise is Spiritual Suicide

Compromise is spiritual suicide, and this is how our enemy, satan and his demon, the spirit of death come after us to steal, to kill, and to destroy our eternal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

When we compromise we lower or weaken our standards. And for Christians, God’s Word, the Holy Bible is our standard. It’s God’s book of rules and regulations for how we are to live life on this earth. It teaches us spiritual boundaries for healthy living in spirit, soul (mind and emotions), and with our physical bodies as well. And when we obey His word we walk in His blessings, and when we choose not to obey we walk in consequences for our willful disobedience.

Let’s face it, in these last days God’s people are being pressured by a lost society to compromise His ways. But as disciples of Christ should we allow society to dictate our beliefs and convictions? What does the Bible have to say to us concerning compromise?

Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. James 4:17, NKJV.

And why do many of God’s people compromise, lower or weaken their standards today? Because they are fearful of what might happen if they take a stand for God’s righteousness. What are some of the things they fear? They fear they might lose their position, their title, their job, finances, possessions, popularity, friends, and the list goes on and on. But according to the Bible, we are not to fear these earthly matters, but the eternal ones that do matter.

For if we go on willfully and deliberately sinning after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice [to atone] for our sins [that is, no further offering to anticipate], but a kind of awful and terrifying expectation of [divine] judgment and the fury of a fire and burning wrath which will consume the adversaries [those who put themselves in opposition to God]. Hebrews 10:226-27, AMP.

Have we taken the time to weigh the outcome of compromise? Do we really want to put ourselves in opposition to our God? What happens when we do?

Anyone who has ignored and set aside the Law of Moses is put to death without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much greater punishment do you think he will deserve who has rejected and trampled under foot the Son of God, and has considered unclean and common the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and has insulted the Spirit of grace [who imparts the unmerited favor and blessing of God]? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine [retribution and the deliverance of justice rest with Me], I will repay [the wrongdoer].” And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” It is a fearful and terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God [incurring His judgment and wrath]. Hebrews 10:28-31, AMP.

As I write in my latest work, “Conquering the Spirit of Death”  we are created to be more than conquerors, and to win every battle that we face. And not only battles against physical death, but also spiritual death that comes to us by the way of compromise.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Romans 8:37, NKJV.

Conquering the Spirit of Death in the NICU Ward

One of the victims of the spirit of death is the vulnerable, those that can’t fight the good fight of faith on their own, and such is the case in the NICU ward. But Terri, a woman of faith, my friend, and one of my intercessors stood in the gap for one of these precious and vulnerable babies the other week with great results. Let’s read and see just how she conquered this spirit of death on behalf of this little baby.

Terri writes, “God has called me to minister in our local hospital, by cuddling the babies in the NICU ward. Recently, I had 2 consecutive nights scheduled. The following day an email was sent out to the volunteers for that night. I was taking my granddaughter to an event that day and hesitated to respond.  I kept checking to see if anyone had responded, but no one had. It was late afternoon when I took my granddaughter home and there was still no response, so I responded that I would go in that night.

The previous night I was given a 3 day old baby who was fitfully crying. I prayed, “Oh Lord, please help me. “ We are not told the history of these babies, but the nurse shared she was 3 days old, unable to keep formula down, and they were thinking of transporting her to another hospital. This baby girl had an IV running and was mad! The nurse placed her in my arms with a pacifier, and asked if I was okay and left, and said to call if I needed help.

This precious, sweet baby screamed while arching her back. As I always do, I called on Jesus, “Please Lord, let this baby feel Your hands and Your heart.  Let me get out of the way.  And I prayed in my natural and in my spiritual language. Very soon the cries subsided and she relaxed with a cry coming just once in a while. I said, “Thank You, Jesus for the peace for this baby.” I held her for 2 and a half to three hours until it was time for me to leave. Again I prayed, “Oh Lord, let her continue to feel You.” I went in the next night and was assigned to hold that same baby. I was expecting the same situation as the previous night, but when I got to the room this precious little girl was quiet, and she had no IV. The nurse gave me a brief report and said she was even keeping her formula down. I began to cry as I was telling her God had answered my prayers, and she agreed! And I held a very content little baby that night as I continued to pray into her spirit.”

While listening to Terri share this testimony with me, I asked her the following question, “Terri, how would you say that the teachings from my books about our words and standing in faith helped you to conquer the spirit of death over this child?”

She responds, “Standing in faith is believing God at His word. Seeing His work is such a faith builder. To experience the power of our words which are so important– it’s testimony in itself. Our words do make a difference and we should choose life-giving words. Renounce every morbid, and negative word spoken over these children, even your own negative thoughts.”

I ask, “Terri, how do you speak to these babies when they are suffering with pain?”

She answers, “All I am allowed to do is hold the babies. I’m not told much about the babies for reasons of  confidentiality. When I am holding an “angry” baby that’s arching their back, my voice doesn’t change per say, as I want the babies to hear a soft, but confident voice. But I put emphasis on the words that declare life. [Gotta tell you the tears fall!] I pray positively into their spirit, taking authority in Jesus’ name is what we are to do and then we  are to expect Him to manifest. God is faithful.

As I continue to listen to Terri share with me her story, she says, “The nurses have been very open to me walking the unit praying before I go to my assignment. God prepares the hearts.” So I ask her, “Did you ask the nurses for permission to pray? Or did you just tell them that’s what you are doing?” And she responds, Actually, I just told them and they didn’t say no.”

She adds, “I am so humbled and overwhelmed with the goodness of God. I have never had prayers answered so quickly. Talk about a faith builder. Becky, you said to  anoint the babies with prayer, and as I was coming home the other night Holy Spirit said before I get to my assignment, that I am to touch and pray over each doorway while I walk the unit, as I cannot go into these other rooms. He has led me every step of the way. I have never felt so blessed!”

Just like Terri you can also learn how to conquer the spirit of death in your everyday situation.

Make Ready You and Your Family

During intercession the Lord continues to give warning for the chaotic times that we are about to enter into. He says to make ourselves ready for the pressing times ahead. And interestingly, He is not speaking about physical preparations, but the way He speaks through me to His people is to be ready spiritually for what is coming. Because it is happening, whether we want to heed His warnings or not.

How does He admonish His people to make ready for His return? He tells us to look inward and judge ourselves, and in doing so we will not be chastised by Him. Ephesians 5: 26-27 says, So that He might sanctify the church, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word [of God], so that [in turn] He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy [set apart for God] and blameless.” AMP. Just as a bride makes herself ready for her groom on the day of her wedding, so we prepare ourselves for this great and glorious reunion with our most precious groom–Jesus Christ.

How do we present ourselves to our Lord without spot or wrinkle? By washing the spots, the sin issues in our own lives with the Word of God. Where the message of redemption is based upon the all powerful blood of Jesus. We need to look to ourselves and in all honesty repent of any and all wickedness. And what is this wickedness? It is anything going against the ways of our Lord found throughout the Scriptures. And we need to rid ourselves of the wrinkle. The wrinkle is the old man, the sinful nature that died when we believed in our hearts and confessed with our mouths that Jesus is Lord. But the flesh wants to resurrect the old man, so that it continues on in the same old nature. But even though we need to work out our salvation on a daily basis our God always has a better plan. We die to the sinful nature, and rise up with a recreated spirit in Christ. Where the past sins are forgiven and forgotten and we are given a brand new beginning, a fresh start in life. (See 2 Cor. 5:17.)

We are to stay planted in the Word of God, day and night. Joshua 1:8 shows us how to do this. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful.” AMP.

We pray daily, and often throughout the day. Our prayers, like our time spent in the Word of God becomes a lifestyle. And our prayers are not to be vain repetitions, (mindless words), but meaningful, even relational with the one true God, Himself. We openly communicate with Him because we remember He promises to never leave us nor forsake us. (See Deut. 31:6.) So being mindful of His ever presence we make conversation with Him. We consult Him first in all matters, big or small. We thank Him for all our blessings, and acknowledge Him in all of our ways. (See Prov. 3:5-6.)

And we live our lives as if we truly believe in Him. Not compromising our beliefs to satisfy a lost and dying world that cannot begin to understand the ways of the Lord. But allowing our light to shine in such a way that our good works glorify our heavenly Father.  (See Matt. 5:16.) And they draw on the hearts of the people around us to seek until they find what we have–right standing with the Living God through the one and only way to Salvation–Jesus Christ. (See Acts 4:12.)

Let’s pray.

“Father God,

Help me to make ready myself and my family for Your soon return. Holy Spirit, reveal to me the areas that I need to repent of. Help me not to be afraid of these times, but to embrace them with all of my heart. Knowing that we are soon to step into the realm of Eternal Life with You. Help me to develop my relationship with You even deeper. May my love for You grow stronger and stronger each and every day. May I truly step into relationship with You and converse with You as I should. May my understanding of the Word cause me to make the necessary changes needed in my daily walk with you. And I am very thankful that You promise never to leave me, nor to forsake me, and especially not during these chaotic times. In the name of Your precious Son, my Savior–Jesus Christ, amen.”

Is God Able and Willing to Heal Skin Cancer?

Skin cancer, is God able and willing to heal skin cancer? Is skin cancer greater than God? Most of my readers immediately respond with the correct answer, “No!”. While others do not know Him as Healer, so in all honesty they are not sure which is greater. And then there are many who say He is able to do anything, but perhaps, He is not willing to heal skin cancer, or any disease for that matter. But I am here to testify to you that our God, is both able and willing to heal all who come to Him.

Let’s look to Luke 5:12-13 from the Amplified Version of the Bible today. It says, While Jesus was in one of the cities, there came a man covered with [an advanced case of] leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean and well.” And Jesus reached out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately the leprosy left him.” From this Scripture we can see not only His willingness to heal, but His ability to heal the incurable disease. And this portion of Scripture isn’t just so we rejoice at this amazing healing from long ago, but that our faith would be stirred today, in the time of our need for His healing touch. Let’s look at a modern day healing and be encouraged that we serve a living God who is both able and willing to heal us today.

On October 10, 2019, Liberty submits a prayer request on behalf of her father. She writes, “My dad had prostate cancer years ago had a botched operation and lots of radiation therapy. Last week his doctor told him he had skin cancer. I need people to believe with me that his body is completely restored in the name of Jesus. We are not believing the lie of the enemy. Thank you.”

I respond to her request on October 17, 2019. “Liberty, in the name of Jesus’ I renounce this cancer lingering in his body. I curse it at its root and seed and command it to die off at the seed and dry up at the roots and be completely gone from his body, never to return again. I command every cancerous cell and tumor to be gone in Jesus’ name. I say, body be healed, be strengthened, and be made whole for the glory of God, amen.”

Liberty writes back on November 11, 2019 with this wonderful praise report. “Becky I want to thank you and give all the Glory to God for my dad’s healing.
The doctor had taken a biopsy from his face, he was told it was skin cancer. The following tests showed NOTHING, I think they were surprised because they even took an x-ray of it to make sure. He is all clear and will remain that way in Jesus’ name. Thank you Lord for your mercy.”

Our God is able and willing to heal skin cancer, or whatever deadly disease that is attacking you and your loved ones.
