The Prayer of Faith Saves a Boy’s Life

The prayer of faith saves a boy’s life, but before you read this wonderful testimony that just took place let’s talk about faith and the prayer of faith. (This teaching comes from “The Prophetic and Healing Power of Your Words”, Chapter 8, “Prayer Strategies” on page 149.)

What is faith and the prayer of faith? First we have the matter of faith. What is it? Certainly it’s not feelings. According to Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. “ Faith is a supernatural foundation, it literally upholds you. Its strength depends upon your relationship and communication with Elohim, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Interestingly, James refers to something called the prayer of faith in his writings. We would think that when we pray we use faith, but apparently this is not always the case. Much of what is said during prayer is not faith at all. Let’s face it, there is a lot of whining, complaining, and blaming going on during prayer.

And how many times have you heard it said in prayer, “If it be Your will…” There is no faith activated in a prayer like this. This statement shows that the heart is not settled upon God’s will in the matter. It reveals insecurity and a lack of trust in the God who truly cares for your needs.

This is especially true when it comes to prayer for healing. If we do not know the will of God to heal, we cannot pray with faith and believe that God hears us and responds to us according to our words full of faith. …

On Thu, Sep 19, 2019, 10:58 PM I receive an urgent prayer request for a young boy who was in a serious accident at the point of death.

“Mrs. Becky,

My co-worker called to inform me that her son was riding his bicycle when a car accidentally hit him. Her son had surgery on his brain and leg. She shared with me that the doctors told her that his blood level is too low and he does not think he will make it. Can you stand in agreement for Dion? I believe God will heal this precious child in the name of Jesus.

My response to Paulette’s prayer request, 2019-09-19 22:04

“In the name of Jesus I renounce this spirit of premature death over this child. I command it to leave him. I release the Spirit of Life to flow in and throughout his entire being. I speak to his brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, and all other organs to be recreated. I command you to not shut down, but to come back to life in Jesus’ mighty name, I say LIVE in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit hover over this little one in Jesus’ name, amen and amen.

Call his mom and read this aloud to her in Jesus name, amen.”

 

On 2019-09-22 00:02 Paulette responds with a wonderful praise report.

“Mrs. Becky,

Glory be to God! After following instructions and saying the prayer out loud that you sent. A miracle from God happened. Dion’s mom said the doctors completed the CT Scan and ran tests and could not find where the bleeding was coming from in her child’s head. The doctors told her that her son was supposed to be dead because the fracture that was connected to the skull, and a vessel was bleeding. The doctors told her to call her family and get her son’s affairs in order.

But while her son was in ICU, and right after saying the prayer you sent out loud over him, she said the four doctors who were examining her son told her that her son will recover.  And all of sudden they were able to reach a vessel that was far back in his skull and impossible to reach, but now they were able to reach it and stop the bleeding.

He is out of critical condition and the doctors expect to move him out of ICU soon. He is eating and talking too. The doctors are still in shock.

Dion’s mom said, “God is amazing!”

And I Praise God, our healer! God bless you, Mrs. Becky.”

A Cancerous Tumor is Gone!

A Cancerous tumor is gone! Now, this is newsworthy for today. And we should all celebrate with this dear sister in the Lord. Let’s read her testimony and find out what happened. What steps did she take for this cancerous tumor to be gone?

“Becky and Team,

I love your ministry! I discovered you on Sid Roth just a few months ago and my life has changed and I am healed because of your faithfulness and the grace of God! I will be in Salisbury, NC later this month and I pray I will be able to spend a few minutes chatting with you. I desire with all of my heart to minister as you do. I have read “The Prophetic and Healing Power of Your Words”, “DARE to Believe”, and I am reading “Greater Than Magic” now.

I have walked with the Lord since 1998, but only received the Holy Spirit just a couple of months ago. Oh my, what I have missed out on all of these years! The revelations the Holy Spirit is revealing to  me is nothing short of miraculous. I want to grow, to help others heal their broken bodies, their broken spirits and their broken hearts. Fear keeps us from moving “In Him”. And I for one want to shout from the rooftops that we as His Body don’t have to walk in that place of darkness any longer. I want to be used for His glory. Will you pray and help me?

I have read hundreds of Christian books and yours, by far, have touched my spirit like no other. I am on fire for God and want to be used mightily by Him. Enclosed you will find some cards I had written and printed. I am handing them out at cancer treatment centers, (where I have had treatment). But I know I am healed in Jesus’ name.” 9/5/2019

Do you hear this woman’s excitement leap off the page? I do, and for good reason. This is what she shares, “There is hope! Prayer coupled with belief is powerful. I know. I prayed the healing prayer…with all of my heart and the very next day a protruding cancerous tumor on my neck disappeared!”

Let’s look at what happened for this woman to go from a protruding cancerous tumor on her neck to the next day it being gone.

1. She stirred her faith for the miraculous by watching the following show, Sid Roth–It’s Supernatural!.

2. She received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and prays in tongues.

3. She read my books and developed her faith for the miraculous.

4. She prayed a prayer of faith for her healing.

5. She is solidifying her healing by testifying about it to others.

And if she can do this, so can you.

How to Pray in Faith Over Cancer

So many people are suffering in this world from cancer. And we have what it takes to overcome it–faith. According to the Scriptures our faith when correctly activated can move mountains. Jesus says in Mark 17:20, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Perhaps we do not need to move a physical mountain, but we may be facing an even greater mountain such as cancer. One of my readers submits the following prayer request.

“Dear Becky,

I have your books and have been using them to pray for myself and others. I would like for you to agree with the healing of my mother who was diagnosed with cancer two years ago and now there is a mass on her colon, spot on her lungs, right hip and abdominal area.. Chemo starts this week..Thanks you for your prayer!”

I want to share my prayer of faith with you so that you too know how to take this satanic mountain down in the lives of our loved ones. I pray believing this way. “In the mighty name of Jesus’ I renounce this Spirit of Death, and all these cancerous cells and tumors. I curse them at the seed and command them to dry up at their roots, and be eliminated from her body. I release the fire of God to burn in her body and cleanse it from all cancer and premature death. I speak creative miracles to take place in her body and new cells are recreated and these cells are super smart cells and they outwit any form of cancer. These newly created cells are cancer proof. Cancer cannot live in her body. They cannot handle the heat of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name, amen and amen. I also speak to her lungs, hip, abdominal area, and colon to be recreated, strengthened and made whole for the glory of Jesus, amen!”

You take this prayer and change it according to the situation, and then begin to prophesy this prophetic healing prayer by faith, believing in the power of the redemptive blood of Jesus, and seal it with a solid, “Amen!”.

Grow Our Faith by the Study of God’s Word

In a recent devotional we discussed how we learn about faith from others, and today we will  learn to grow our faith by the study of God’s Word.

Jesus shares with us a parable in Luke 8:14-15 about how faith grows in different types of spiritual soil. Let’s look to these Scriptures to learn how to grow our faith.The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.”
Obviously, when we read this portion of Scripture we sense a pricking in our spirit and we do not want to be found among those with thorny spiritual soil. But how do we prevent this from happening in our faith walk with Jesus? What measures can we take to prevent thorns from producing in our spiritual soil? Firstly, we need to examine our own hearts, judge our thoughts, words, and actions against the Word of God. Ask ourselves, “Have I allowed life’s worries to overrun my mind and emotions?” “Are the riches and pleasures of this world controlling me?” “Am I in the same condition, spiritually speaking as I was last year in this area of life?” If when we judge our hearts and find that our faith seeds have been chocked out by the weeds of this world we need to pull the weed seeds out of our spiritual gardens and change out the soil, and replant our gardens. How do we do this?
  • Admit to God that we are not where we should be in our faith walk.
  • Ask Him to forgive us for allowing the things of this world to choke out our faith.
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth.
  • Open up your Bible and read it, study it, speak it, and this time live it.
Or after reading this portion of Scripture from Luke 8: 14-15 you can honestly say to yourself that you have overcome these weaknesses and temptations in your life, and are stronger in the faith then you were last year? You will know that you are growing in the faith as you can look at the fruit being produced in your life. Healthy vegetation produces from good soil, that that is filled with the necessary nutrients to produce good fruit. But even still, just because you have a strong crop now in your life, you still must maintain a lifestyle in the Word of God. For even strong and healthy soil if not tended to properly will get depleted and only be able to produce thorns, those spiritual weed seeds that are not healthy for us and hurt us in our physical lives.
In Joshua 1:8 God shares the secret to growing our faith and living it out successfully, Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Let’s pray this simple, but heartfelt prayer together.
Father God,
In the name of Jesus’ as I examine my faith walk I see things that I know are displeasing to you, and are preventing me from being where I should be with You, spiritually speaking. Forgive me for allowing the cares of this world to surpress my faith and prevent it from growing strong. Holy Spirit, I ask You to lead me and guide me into all truths in Your ways as I make a quality decision and open up my Bible and read, study, speak and live out Your Word today. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Take Comfort in the Lord’s Strength

Take comfort in the Lord’s strength during these very turbulent times. It’s more than good advice, and sometimes downright difficult to walk out when we are in the midst of a violent storm. And God’s people are passing through many different types of storms right now, including you. My desire is to send you the strength of His comfort during this difficulty in your life. 

You may be in the midst of great trouble right now, call out to Him. He will see you through this troubling time. The Bible tells us  in Psalm 46:1-3 that God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. God is always present, and always willing to help you. We are designed to be more than overcomers, but not in our own strength, but in His strength. Proverbs 18:10 says it this way, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.” When you call upon the name of the Lord He hears you, and He responds to your sincere call of faith. He is your strong tower– your source of protection. You can trust Him to see you through this distressing time in life. In saying this, there is a decision that we all must make, we must choose to trust in His faithfulness to carry us through.

Let’s join our faith together and pray.

Father God, You are my strength, my refuge, my strong tower, and I call out to you with all sincerity of faith for your protection. Your Word promises me that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, (Isaiah 54:17). So I make the decision to trust in your faithfulness to carry me through this violent storm that I am passing through. And I rely upon your strength, not mine. I take comfort in your strength, Oh, Lord. I thank you that You will never leave me or forsake me, (Deuteronomy 31:6). And when I pass through the waters, You will be with me; and when I pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over me, (Isaiah 43:2). I choose to take comfort in your strength. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

Learning about Faith from others

We are learning about faith from others every day. If we will humble ourselves we will learn new things every day. When it comes to learning I purpose in my heart to learn something new about faith every day. One way to learn about faith is by observing it in the lives of others around us. And I literally confess this with the words of my own mouth. And as someone shares something I’ve not known, or not thought about it in that way before I confess aloud, “This is my new thing I’ve learned today.”

I am a strong advocate for the prophetic and healing power of our words. And I purposefully work this truth into my daily life. Look to those around you, and readily learn from them, both young and old, and everyone else in between. And begin to prophesy the life lessons about the faith truths they learned into your life situations.

I learn from the experience of my elders. I grew up as the baby of the family. So I naturally was surrounded by people that were older than myself. And I was raised in a rural community, and my extended family were my neighbors—practically everyone around me was a relative. I grew up listening and learning from their life experiences, both good and bad. And I witnessed how their faith in God carried them through to the victory or how their lack of faith in Jesus brought them to destruction.

But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. Titus 2: 1-5.

From the young children I discover powerful truths about what faith actually is—trust. Trusting in another’s faithfulness. Believing without question that they have our best interest at heart. And it’s this practical life example how we are to live out our faith in Christ—complete trust, not doubting His faithfulness, or that He has our best interest at heart.

But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14.

And I observe and learn about what great faith is from the daily struggles and triumphs of others around me.

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 1 Timothy 4:12.

Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, Titus 2:7.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16.

 

The more I learn about faith, the more I clearly see how much more there is to learn. But if we will determine within our own hearts to learn something new every day about faith, our faith will continue to grow. And in return for our learning about faith our faith in God will be observed by others to learn how to walk in daily victory by our faith in our Lord and Savior—Jesus Christ.

How to Maintain Peace in Our Lives

God tells us in His Word,  If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men,” Romans 12:18. In other words live as peacefully as possible with other people. This can be a challenge,  especially if we have daily contact with very stressful people. Seriously how do we set out to accomplish such a goal? How do we stay at peace when our boss is unrealistic with his or her demands? Or our neighbor is so over-the-top emotionally speaking? Or our spouse or child is sick and suffering? How do we hold our peace when life around us is out of control? Let’s look to the Scriptures for realistic daily steps to put into practice in our everyday lives to maintain our peace.

1. One way to maintain our peace is to guard our hearts and minds. And Philippians 4:6-7 tells us how to guard them. It says, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” We guard our hearts and minds by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving. While we  remember to pray and supplicate, we often forget to do so with thanksgiving on our tongues. And forgetting to be thankful can lead us into whining and complaining, or even into the realm of fear, a stressful mode. While on the other hand being thankful is a positive attribute and it does add to our level of peace by focusing on the right things. Let’s look to step #2 to find out why it is important to have our hearts and minds filled with positive things.

2. “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things and the God of peace will be with you”, Philippians 4:8. Allowing our minds to wander into ungodly thoughts, and conversations zap our peace. Our souls, minds and emotions get bent-out-of shape. These ungodly thoughts and conversations create an atmosphere that is uninviting for the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, to inhabit. Knowing this we all ought to guard our thoughts and conversations with all sincerity and focus on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praiseworthy. If we will do this the God of peace will be with us.

Peace is important to our everyday lives. And God desires us to have His peace, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically too. And since He provides us with these keys to maintaining our peace, then He obviously holds us responsible to guard our hearts and minds by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving on our minds and tongues. And even tells us what to think about so we can maintain our level of peace.

And let’s end today’s message of peace with these Words of Jesus from John 14:27, Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Help to Overcome Chronic Anxiety and Depression

Chronic anxiety and depression are running rampant among people today, even throughout the Church. One of my readers wrote me with the following request, “Becky, I need help for healing from chronic anxiety and depression.” I ask you now, you who hold this book in your hand, “Is this request too difficult for God?” You answer in your heart, “No.” Then let me ask you another question, “Is chronic anxiety and depression too difficult for the Christian to overcome?” Many struggle with this type of inner healing, but I remind you again, “With God…” not in your own strength, but with Him, all things are possible, even this situation is possible to triumph over.

And just how do you win over this type of attack of destruction? You win with God and with the power of the spoken word.

In Jesus’ name, that’s correct, with our God, Jesus Christ, with the power of His name, you use the authority of your words and verbally renounce the spirit of fear and depression. Again, with your vocal chords you command these evil spirits out and off of you. You decree with your voice a radical turn around in the way you see and hear things, the way you respond to others and even to the past. Use this Scripture, “For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord” (Jeremiah 30:17).

The Stamina of Your Faith

These past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind of activity—all good, but physically demanding. Let me explain, and share. Two weekends ago I was ministering in Langley, British Columbia, Canada. I poured my heart out with the healing word and witnessed wonderful healings and miracles. I arrived home on Monday afternoon a little bit tired physically.

Thursday morning I find myself back on the plane, but this time to Guatemala to go and pick up our 20 year old son, Jorge and bring him back the States to live with us here. That evening our arrival had been delayed due to weather. We were unable to land in Guatemala because of an electrical storm. They flew around the City waiting for approval to land, but we were not able to because of the lighting. So needing to fuel the plane they announced we would be flying next door to Belize, but the airport there was also closed down due to the same weather issues. They wanted to land in El Salvador but because of the surrounding weather they already had 9 planes waiting for the okay to take off to these other countries. And so we were not able to land there either. So we ended up in Honduras, the airport had already closed for the evening, but we were able to land there to fuel the jet. The process probably took about 2 hours because it was after hours. Afterwards we were able to fly into Guatemala City at about midnight. And despite the delays, I had a wonderful time visiting our other two adopted sons and their families who are managing out children’s home in Guatemala, and spend a little time with the children in the home, along with ministering to a group of students in a discipleship program and a healing service at a local Church. Then Monday morning Jorge and I make the journey back to the USA, again landing about midnight and arriving home at 1:00 in the morning.

I was thinking I had that day to sleep in and rest, but to my surprise the house that we were moving into was ready for us to move in that day. And so for the past few days I have been unpacking our belongings and trying to put our new home in order. Physically I am tired, and with good reason, but even in the midst of this whirlwind of activity I find that there is great stamina in having faith in God.

And this is what I want to focus on now with you. Be encouraged that when life is moving faster than you expect, and is physically demanding, and it takes everything within you to finish the task put before you, know that when you feel physically weak, He is not. And you can rely on His strength to carry you through.

Perhaps, you are fighting a battle with sickness and disease and you feel like you can’t continue on, I am here to tell you that you can. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. (See Philippians 4:13.)

And maybe you are struggling to find the physical strength to carry-on I can’t encourage you enough to call out to God and thank Him by faith that when you feel weak, He is strong. (See 2 Corinthians 12:10)

And when the unexpected events of life happen hold your peace, rest in Him because He truly is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (See Hebrews 13:8.) He is faithful. (See 1 Corinthians 1:9.) He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. (See John 14:6.) When He promises to uphold you with His righteous right hand—He will. (See Isaiah 41:10.)

Regardless of all the demands placed upon your faith-walk you will find that there is great stamina, relentless staying power in your faith in Christ.
