Leave Your Failures Behind

You want to move forward, but you can’t seem to get over your past failures. But God says that it is time to leave your failures behind and move forward with Him. No matter what those failures are, it’s time to trust God and fulfill your destiny in Him.

Let’s talk about some common failures that people make, and hold them up to the light of the Word, and see if we can move past the pain of them and into something better.

Your business has failed and it has caused a real financial mess, and great stress upon you, your marriage, and upon your family. Do you give up on your dream? Let’s look at Edison and all the times he failed before he had success. Edison and his team of researchers designed and tested more than 3,000 models of bulbs between 1878 and 1880. In November 1879, Edison filed a patent for an electric lamp with a carbon filament. It took him 3,000 tries at a dream before it came to pass. Do we remember him as a man that failed 2,999 times or for the the 3,000th time he succeeded?

God says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope”.

How many times a day does a toddler fall and get back up? Because he or she falls do we call this child a failure? No, it’s the normal process to learn how to stand up and walk.

The word of the Lord tells us in Psalm 37:23-24 that “the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand”.

You’re discouraged because you have tried over and over again to break a terrible habit, and when you fail you feel guilt ridden. But even though it hurts to fail, should you allow the enemy, the devil and his demons, yourself, or misunderstanding people to beat you up for your past or present failures?

“He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth— praise to our God; many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord”, Ps. 40:2-3.

I thank the Lord many times that He pulled me up and out of the pit of the world. Foolishly, I got caught up in the ways of the world, not because I wanted to, but because I was naive and did not understand the dangers this world had to offer. I was 18 years old and my brother’s Christian seminary friends told him to stop praying for his baby sister because she was too far into the world and would never turn to the Lord. Praise the Lord, he did not heed their ungodly counsel. I actually came into the divine presence of the Lord and my life was forever changed just months after my brother was told to give up all hope for me.

A woman is newly married for the second or third time, should we join ranks with the enemy and beat on her with our judgmental words and negative actions? Where is the compassion of the Lord in our lives? Do we really know all the facts behind the situation? Or should we be supportive of the positive changes she has made in life and let her move forward with God?

Your teenage son has wrecked havoc on your family with his rebellion. Does this mean you give up on him? Or should you seek the Lord more on his behalf? If you were him what would you desire for your parents to do for you? Is it time to seek outside help for him?

Your wayward daughter has brought disgrace upon your name. What do you do? Do you verbally beat her up daily? Is this going to woo her back into the loving arms of the Father? Or do you need to seek the Lord and find the spiritual key to open up her heart towards you again to lead her back to God?

A pastor or elder of the Church falls into sin, sins that many of you are secretly caught up in. It’s not right, and yes, there are consequences to pay, but when is the person released from our unforgiveness and vengeance? When do we allow them to leave their failures behind and begin their walk with the Lord again?

God doesn’t desire for us to do wrong. Sin separates us from Him–this is truth, but the greatest truth of all is that God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”, Rom. 5:8.

Who is the author of the Book of Romans? The Apostle Paul is. He wrote at least 13 books of the New Testament. And how rich in godly wisdom are these 13 letters penned by the Holy Spirit through a man that has a past filled with great failures against God and the Church. But did he allow his wicked past to prevent him from moving forward with the power of the Spirit? No. Do you think he had to overcome his thoughts and the judgemental opinions of others to move forward? Yes, he did. Do you think the enemy left this ex-terrorist alone? No, he had a thorn in the flesh, a demon that was sent to buffet, beat him up, (see 2 Corinthians 12:7).

In all of life’s failures, you are not to give up on life, or on yourself, or your loved ones, but Philippians 3:13-14 does tell us what we are to do,Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,  I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

What Does it Mean to be Born-Again?

Q: What does it mean to be born-again?

Perhaps you’ve heard others speak of being born-again, and you don’t understand what they mean by this term.

“There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?” (For the full account of Nicodemus read John 3: 1-21).

Perhaps, you are like Nicodemus, and you do not know what it means to be born-again. There was a time in my life I did not understand this either, but I wanted to understand. And that is when someone shared the Good News of Jesus with me, like I am with you.

Someone that has been born-again first believes in their heart and then confesses with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”, Jn. 3:16. And Romans 10:8-10 explains this to us, “But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

And they pray to Him, and Him only, and repent or ask Him to forgive them of their sins, (wrong thoughts and actions). When we pray for salvation or for any other reason we pray to Jesus only. “Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them”, Heb. 7:25.

We are to be honest to God and confess our sins to Him, and then He does what only He can do, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”, 1 Jn. 1:9.

You say to yourself, “But I’m not a sinful person. I’m good, honest, kind and considerate of others.” You may be a good natured person, but the Bible says the following about all people in this matter. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”, Rom. 3:23.  Because of the original sin with Adam and Eve, we live in a fallen world and are all born into sin, “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—“, Rom. 5:12.

But we have a High Priest in Jesus who understands all of our shortcomings. “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin”, Heb. 4:15. And He loves us so much, “that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us”, Rom. 5:8.”

The beauty of Salvation is this, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new”, 2 Cor. 5:17. And nothing or no one can separate us from His love, “neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”, Rom. 8:38-39.

When we truly repent from a sincere heart He does not hold our sins against us, “For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us”, Ps. 103: 11-12.

By the redemptive blood of Jesus your sins have been washed away and your spirit has become clean, “Come now, and let us reason together,” says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool”, Is. 1:18.

And let’s end with this final verse from Revelation 3:5, “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.” Is your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life?

Ask yourself the following questions now.

  1. Do I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the one and only way to salvation?
  2. Have I invited Jesus Christ to be my Lord and Savior?
  3. Have I prayed and asked Him to forgive me of my sins?
  4. Am I sure that my name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life?

If you can answer yes to these questions above you are born-again. You are a member of God’s eternal family. You will inherit eternal life. And yes, your name is written down in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

A PRAYER OF SALVATION

Father God,

I come humbly before You, not with fancy words, but with a believing heart and I confess that I do believe that Jesus is the One and only way to Salvation. Apart from Him, there is no other way to the Father.

I ask You, Jesus, to be my Savior, forgive me for all my sinful thoughts and actions. I thank You for this forgiveness, and that You do not hold these sins against me.

And I am truly grateful that I am now a member of Your eternal family, my name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, and nothing or no one can separate me from Your unconditional love for me.

Holy Spirit, teach me, guide me in the ways of God. Help me to understand all that He has for me.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Know the Basic Signs of the Last Days

Anyone with a discerning eye can see that we are in the beginning of the end. But even so, the enemy is working hard to add confusion and fear to the times that are upon us. Do you know the basic signs of the times for these last days? In Matthew 24 Jesus teaches His disciples and us how to recognize the signs of His coming and the end of the age.

Jesus first cautions us not to be deceived. He says that many false Christs will arise and lead many astray. And Paul also warns us in 2 Tim. 3:13, “But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” If someone declares they are the Christ on this earth, be secure in the truth that they are not. Even if they perform great signs and wonders, they are not. Why? According to the Word in Titus 2:13, He will not appear to us on the earth, but He will appear to us in the clouds, and be caught up with Him, along with our fellow believers. “Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,” Titus 2:13. Again Rev. 1:7 confirms the way He will come to us on that great and glorious day, Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. And we, who are alive will shed this earth suit and be supernaturally changed. 1 Cor. 15: 50-53 explains it like this, “Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed—  in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Next, our Lord encourages us not to be afraid because there will be wars and rumors of wars, and explains that these things must take place, but the end is not yet. Wars and rumors of wars are frightful events, but God promises us in Isa. 41:10, Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”

He continues to speak to us about the political arena and says that nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. He reveals to us that there will be disasters in various places such as famines and earthquakes. And makes it plain that these are not the final signs, but the beginning of birth pangs.

The world will be in chaos, and its inhabitants will be insecure not knowing how to meet their daily needs, but we have security in God’s Word that promises us that if we seek first His kingdom and all of His righteousness then all these things that we have need of will be met. Matt. 6:31-33 says, Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Did he not provide for the Israelites when they wandered in the desert for 40 years? According to the Scriptures God graciously provided for their daily needs. He supplied His people with water from the rock, see Ex. 17:5-7, it rained down manna daily, see Ex. 16:4, they had fresh meat, see Ex. 16:13, and their shoes and clothes did not wear out, see Deut. 29:5.

He then discusses with them about the individual who calls him or herself  a follower of Jesus Christ.  “Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.”

Let’s face it, this is a very serious matter that will take every ounce of faith to overcome the temptation to recant our faith. Jesus understands this temptation all too well. In the Garden of Gethsemane He is so afraid of the torture that He is to endure for you and for me that He starts to sweat great drops of blood. He  cries out to His Heavenly Father to come up with another plan, to remove Him from this situation. Heb. 4:15 confirms this point, it says “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”. He overcomes the power of the human will to run away from His destiny, to be selfish and to turn away from our need, to allow fear, doubt, and unbelief to control His actions, and finally surrenders to His Father’s will and lays down His life for us. Matt. 26:39 in the New King James Version of the Bible reads, “He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”

He tells us that many false prophets will rise and lead many people away from God. And Peter also warns us in 2 Pet. 2:1-3, But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.”

Women especially tend to be led astray by their emotions. The Bible warns us not to be gullible in 2 Tim. 3:5-7, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” Women, we are not to be naïve, but wise. No matter how godly, how charismatic, how charming or how appealing the one with the message may seem, we are responsible to try the spirits and judge the message against the Word of God.

Not everyone will have to confront the possibility of being martyred for their faith, but we will all face some sort of tribulation and be hated because of our faith in Jesus. He says that during this stage of the Last Days that many will fall away, and they will betray and hate one another. And because of the increase in lawlessness that most people’s love will grow cold. But He makes it clear, “But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.” See Matt. 24:13.

And this portion of Scripture closes with Jesus declaring “This gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.” See Matt. 24:14.

And just to clear up a matter of confusion, can the date of Jesus’ return be predicted? According to the Scriptures the answer is no. It states in Matt. 24:36, “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” So the next time you hear someone has figured out the exact date of Jesus’ return you know not to listen to them. Only the Father knows the exact date and time, but as we read in Matt. 24:3-15 God does want us to be aware of the season and clearly gives us the signs to look for.

I encourage you to open up the Word of God, start with Matthew 24 and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand the basic teachings concerning the End-Times. He is faithful and true and wants you to know and recognize the basic signs of the Last Days.

3 Steps to Pick Up the Pieces

God’s Word tells us that in this world we will have tribulation, see John 16:33. We will pass through difficult times, not because this is God’s will and plan for us, but because we live in a fallen world. But even during these very troubling times in life He promises to be with us. He says in Isaiah 43: 1-2, Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.

Some of you are thinking, “What about those that passed through literal floods and flames and even lost their lives because of it?” Where was God in all of this? Psalm 23:4 reveals to us just where He was, Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.Even though these are very painful things for us to consider, God was with them. He did not abandon them, He remained faithful to them.

But for those of us that remain, how do we move forward after the storms of life hit us? Here are 3 basic steps to help pick up the pieces again.

  1. Choose life. Deuteronomy 30:19 says, “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” God didn’t tell us this would be easy, that’s why this is a choice. It is a decision to move forward and the first step that one must take is to live again, not just for yourself, but for the well being of your children and your children’s children. We need to choose life for the sake of others. You may be the very one that God uses to bring life and healing to another.
  2. Choose joy. This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it,” Psalm 118:24. Joy is a choice, and according to  Nehemiah 8:10 it is a supernatural strength. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.Sometimes people feel guilty to smile and laugh again, some believe that to happy again would dishonor the memory of their loved one, but if truth be told, your loved one that has passed on would want you to be happy again.
  3. Choose to trust. I believe this is one of the most difficult challenges for people that have suffered great loss. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us to Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.Feelings, human reasonings, and even demons try to convince us to remain in the present sorrow, and give up on life. But God desires to carry you through that dark valley and into His promised land.

A friend of mine who went through many challenges in life once said to me, “I will not could have, should have, or would have on myself today.” What was my friend declaring? That she had made the choice not to remain in the past sorrows, but to move forward, to choose life, not just for herself, but for the sake of her children and her children’s children, and to learn to trust again. Jesus will help you do the same.

Boldly Declare

When the attack of the enemy bears down hard and the reports shout death, I will not fear. I will put my trust in my God:

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Like Abraham, I too believe “in the presence of Him whom he believed–God, who gives life to the dead and calls those tings which do not exist as though they did”  (Rom. 4:17). I boldly declare His abundant life, healing power, and supernatural strength to overtake my body.

I bind myself to the power of the blood of Jesus to take down this illness, to heal me, to recreate this physical body of mine, to renew my strength. According to the healing words of Isiah 40:29-31, because I wait upon the Lord, I will mount up with wings like eagles, I will run and not be weary, I will walk and not faint, in Jesus’ name I declare, amen.

Entering Into the Final Hour

This is the word of the Lord given to me at 1:11 AM in Guatemala, February 27, 2017.

Know that the battle will be great, the hour is getting late. There is an increase of hate, this is totally the enemy’s bait.

But just you wait, for My children the end will be great. You do not need to fear a dreadful fate, but keep in mind the hour is late.

All My children will endure much hate for My name, but at the same time you will witness the lost coming to Me in droves. Numbers, great numbers like you have not seen before.

Run, run with all your might, together, we will fight off the enemy. The door is wide open now, but it will soon close, that is how close we are to the final hour.

I will send My servants to the 4 corners of the earth, anyone that is willing and obedient to go. For some it won’t make any sense, others will just know that it is the right place to go.

The earth is groaning the evil taking place, and unfortunately, it will get worse. And as My Word foretold the world will say evil is good, and good is evil.

Great division is taking place, friends, families, acquaintances, businesses, denominations, and governments are dividing against themselves.

And even greater hatred is rising against My set apart ones, death threats and treason without reason will become all too common.

A common core will latch onto satanism, and the greatest treason that can ever take place, they will turn their backs on their creator.

Man-made images will arise in places one would never have imagined before. And untold scores of people will deny Me, and bow before them.

This is why I tell you to run your race, pick up your pace, because soon you will look upon My face with amazing grace.

Tell My people I am giving them a time, a limited space to finish their race.

But the final part of the race is all about willingness of heart, obedience to the call, and endurance to the end.

But the good news is I do not expect them to run this last part of the race on their own. In fact, it can’t be accomplished in the flesh, but by My Spirit. Together, with My power we are entering into this final hour, and this final hour will be the Churches’ finest hour.

The power for this hour is being declared around My throne. The cry is, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, Who was, Who is, and Who is to come.” And the spiritual volume is breaking through the physical barriers between Heaven and Earth. Get ready, the trumpet will soon sound!

Holy Bible

What the Bible Says about Satan and Demons

I receive so many prayer requests about people suffering from demon oppression and possession, so we are going to study and find out what the Bible has to say about satan and his demons. Who are they? Where did they come from? And more importantly, where is their final destination?

Scripture talks about the fall of lucifer. He was a beautiful angel whom God created. But he deceived himself and became full of pride because of his beauty, and he thought he was greater than God, his creator. He even deceived a third of the angels to believe his deceitful lie and convinced them to rebel against God with him. Scripture says he fell from Heaven, “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! Isaiah 14:12.

But before he fell, it says that he was the anointed cherub who covered and that he was in Eden, the Garden of God, as well as on God’s holy mountain. “Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord God:“You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering: the sardius, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. “You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you.” Ezekiel 28:12-15.

But lucifer was evicted from these places and more importantly, from God’s presence, and his name was changed to satan (the devil). The angels who fell with him are now called demonic spirits, or demons. And God has a place prepared for them called Hell. The worst part of this eviction process is the separation from God, Himself. Lucifer’s foolish pride cost him everything; he lost it all.

“How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!  For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit. “Those who see you will gaze at you,  and consider you, saying: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, Who shook kingdoms, who made the world as a wilderness and destroyed its cities, who did not open the house of his prisoners?’ “All the kings of the nations, All of them, sleep in glory, Everyone in his own house; But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, like the garment of those who are slain, thrust through with a sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a corpse trodden underfoot. You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land and slain your people. The brood of evildoers shall never be named. Prepare slaughter for his children because of the iniquity of their fathers, lest they rise up and possess the land, and fill the face of the world with cities.” Isaiah 14:12-21.

Why was he cast out? “By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned; therefore I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; and I destroyed you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the fiery stones. “Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, that they might gaze at you. “You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your trading; therefore I brought fire from your midst; it devoured you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you. All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; you have become a horror, and shall be no more forever.” Ezekiel 28: 16-19.

“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:9.

And this is his final destination found in Revelation 20:10, The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” This is a good scripture to use when he tries to torment you. He fears his destination, and does not like to be reminded of it.

Tomorrow, we will discuss why satan went after Adam and Eve and why he goes after us today.

Shaken By the Report

Dear Becky,

I have read and enjoyed all your books and receive the message of faith. I had a brain tumor removed and am having treatment to keep it away and I had to see my consultant today and was told that something was showing up on a scan. However, they are not sure what it is; could be scarring, radiation damage, they don’t know. I believe that I receive healing from our Lord but am shaken up by this report and have to wait till Thursday for them to telephone me. Becky, I don’t know why I am feeling this way as my faith is so strong and I just want to live.

Thank you for taking the time to read this email if you have the time as I know that you are very busy.

Things have been going so well so far and I don’t think our Lord would abandon me now.

Bless you Becky,

G.

Dear G.

Stand strong, and don’t allow the spirit of fear to take over. It is always a precursor to the spirit of death. Fight it off of you.

1. Pray in the Spirit. In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;  and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God Romans 8:26-27.

2. Laugh. “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22.

3. Confess the healing Scriptures, and The Healing Creed over yourself. “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21.

The enemy will always put up a fight against us. But you have total authority over all of his wicked works including sickness and disease.

  2. How to Love God: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Mark 12:30.
  3. The Reason We Can Love God: “We love Him, because He first loved us.” 1 John 4: 19.
  4. God is Love: “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8.
  5. God’s Type of Love: “The LORD passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The LORD! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.” Exodus 34:6.
  6. How to Love Others: And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. Mark 12:31.
  7. What Love Does Not Do to Others: Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:10.
  8. How Husbands Are to Love their Wives: “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” Ephesians 5:25.
  9. How Wives Are to Love their Husbands: Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. Ephesians 5:33.
  10. How to Love Your Enemies: But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Luke 6:35.
  11. Love Forgives: “In accordance with your great love, forgive the sin of these people, just as you have pardoned them from the time they left Egypt until now.” Numbers 14:19.

  13. Love Bears One Another: With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.” Ephesians 4:2.
  14. Love is Fearless: There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.  1 John 4: 18.

  17. You Love With Your Actions: By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him? My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. 1 John 3:16-18.
  18. The Attributes of Love:Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;  does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7.
  19. What Love Cannot Do: Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away.” 1 Corinthians 13:8.

  21. The Worth of Spiritual Gifts Without Love: And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:2.
  22. What I Gain by Acts of Charity Without Love: And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:3.
  23. How We Should Do Things:Let all that you do be done with love. 1 Corinthians 16:14.
  24. What You Should Always Keep With You: “Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.” Proverbs 3:3-4.
