Conquering the Spirit of Death in the NICU Ward

One of the victims of the spirit of death is the vulnerable, those that can’t fight the good fight of faith on their own, and such is the case in the NICU ward. But Terri, a woman of faith, my friend, and one of my intercessors stood in the gap for one of these precious and vulnerable babies the other week with great results. Let’s read and see just how she conquered this spirit of death on behalf of this little baby.

Terri writes, “God has called me to minister in our local hospital, by cuddling the babies in the NICU ward. Recently, I had 2 consecutive nights scheduled. The following day an email was sent out to the volunteers for that night. I was taking my granddaughter to an event that day and hesitated to respond. I kept checking to see if anyone had responded, but no one had. It was late afternoon when I took my granddaughter home and there was still no response, so I responded that I would go in that night.

The previous night I was given a 3 day old baby who was fitfully crying. I prayed, “Oh Lord, please help me. “ We are not told the history of these babies, but the nurse shared she was 3 days old, unable to keep formula down, and they were thinking of transporting her to another hospital. This baby girl had an IV running and was mad! The nurse placed her in my arms with a pacifier, and asked if I was okay and left, and said to call if I needed help.

This precious, sweet baby screamed while arching her back. As I always do, I called on Jesus, “Please Lord, let this baby feel Your hands and Your heart. Let me get out of the way. And I prayed in my natural and in my spiritual language. Very soon the cries subsided and she relaxed with a cry coming just once in a while. I said, “Thank You, Jesus for the peace for this baby.” I held her for 2 and a half to three hours until it was time for me to leave. Again I prayed, “Oh Lord, let her continue to feel You.” I went in the next night and was assigned to hold that same baby. I was expecting the same situation as the previous night, but when I got to the room this precious little girl was quiet, and she had no IV. The nurse gave me a brief report and said she was even keeping her formula down. I began to cry as I was telling her God had answered my prayers, and she agreed! And I held a very content little baby that night as I continued to pray into her spirit.”

While listening to Terri share this testimony with me, I asked her the following question, “Terri, how would you say that the teachings from my books about our words and standing in faith helped you to conquer the spirit of death over this child?”

She responds, “Standing in faith is believing God at His word. Seeing His work is such a faith builder. To experience the power of our words which are so important– it’s testimony in itself. Our words do make a difference and we should choose life-giving words. Renounce every morbid, and negative word spoken over these children, even your own negative thoughts.”

I ask, “Terri, how do you speak to these babies when they are suffering with pain?”

She answers, “All I am allowed to do is hold the babies. I’m not told much about the babies for reasons of confidentiality. When I am holding an “angry” baby that’s arching their back, my voice doesn’t change per say, as I want the babies to hear a soft, but confident voice. But I put emphasis on the words that declare life. [Gotta tell you the tears fall!] I pray positively into their spirit, taking authority in Jesus’ name is what we are to do and then we are to expect Him to manifest. God is faithful.

As I continue to listen to Terri share with me her story, she says, “The nurses have been very open to me walking the unit praying before I go to my assignment. God prepares the hearts.” So I ask her, “Did you ask the nurses for permission to pray? Or did you just tell them that’s what you are doing?” And she responds, “Actually, I just told them and they didn’t say no.”

She adds, “I am so humbled and overwhelmed with the goodness of God. I have never had prayers answered so quickly. Talk about a faith builder. Becky, you said to anoint the babies with prayer, and as I was coming home the other night Holy Spirit said before I get to my assignment, that I am to touch and pray over each doorway while I walk the unit, as I cannot go into these other rooms. He has led me every step of the way. I have never felt so blessed!”

Make Ready You and Your Family

During intercession the Lord continues to give warning for the chaotic times that we are about to enter into. He says to make ourselves ready for the pressing times ahead. And interestingly, He is not speaking about physical preparations, but the way He speaks through me to His people is to be ready spiritually for what is coming. Because it is happening, whether we want to heed His warnings or not.

How does He admonish His people to make ready for His return? He tells us to look inward and judge ourselves, and in doing so we will not be chastised by Him. Ephesians 5: 26-27 says, “So that He might sanctify the church, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word [of God], so that [in turn] He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy [set apart for God] and blameless.” AMP. Just as a bride makes herself ready for her groom on the day of her wedding, so we prepare ourselves for this great and glorious reunion with our most precious groom–Jesus Christ.

How do we present ourselves to our Lord without spot or wrinkle? By washing the spots, the sin issues in our own lives with the Word of God. Where the message of redemption is based upon the all powerful blood of Jesus. We need to look to ourselves and in all honesty repent of any and all wickedness. And what is this wickedness? It is anything going against the ways of our Lord found throughout the Scriptures. And we need to rid ourselves of the wrinkle. The wrinkle is the old man, the sinful nature that died when we believed in our hearts and confessed with our mouths that Jesus is Lord. But the flesh wants to resurrect the old man, so that it continues on in the same old nature. But even though we need to work out our salvation on a daily basis our God always has a better plan. We die to the sinful nature, and rise up with a recreated spirit in Christ. Where the past sins are forgiven and forgotten and we are given a brand new beginning, a fresh start in life. (See 2 Cor. 5:17.)

We are to stay planted in the Word of God, day and night. Joshua 1:8 shows us how to do this. “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful.” AMP.

We pray daily, and often throughout the day. Our prayers, like our time spent in the Word of God becomes a lifestyle. And our prayers are not to be vain repetitions, (mindless words), but meaningful, even relational with the one true God, Himself. We openly communicate with Him because we remember He promises to never leave us nor forsake us. (See Deut. 31:6.) So being mindful of His ever presence we make conversation with Him. We consult Him first in all matters, big or small. We thank Him for all our blessings, and acknowledge Him in all of our ways. (See Prov. 3:5-6.)

And we live our lives as if we truly believe in Him. Not compromising our beliefs to satisfy a lost and dying world that cannot begin to understand the ways of the Lord. But allowing our light to shine in such a way that our good works glorify our heavenly Father. (See Matt. 5:16.) And they draw on the hearts of the people around us to seek until they find what we have–right standing with the Living God through the one and only way to Salvation–Jesus Christ. (See Acts 4:12.)

Let’s pray.

“Father God,

Help me to make ready myself and my family for Your soon return. Holy Spirit, reveal to me the areas that I need to repent of. Help me not to be afraid of these times, but to embrace them with all of my heart. Knowing that we are soon to step into the realm of Eternal Life with You. Help me to develop my relationship with You even deeper. May my love for You grow stronger and stronger each and every day. May I truly step into relationship with You and converse with You as I should. May my understanding of the Word cause me to make the necessary changes needed in my daily walk with you. And I am very thankful that You promise never to leave me, nor to forsake me, and especially not during these chaotic times. In the name of Your precious Son, my Savior–Jesus Christ, amen.”

Is God Able and Willing to Heal Skin Cancer?

Skin cancer, is God able and willing to heal skin cancer? Is skin cancer greater than God? Most of my readers immediately respond with the correct answer, “No!”. While others do not know Him as Healer, so in all honesty they are not sure which is greater. And then there are many who say He is able to do anything, but perhaps, He is not willing to heal skin cancer, or any disease for that matter. But I am here to testify to you that our God, is both able and willing to heal all who come to Him.

Let’s look to Luke 5:12-13 from the Amplified Version of the Bible today. It says, “While Jesus was in one of the cities, there came a man covered with [an advanced case of] leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean and well.” And Jesus reached out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately the leprosy left him.” From this Scripture we can see not only His willingness to heal, but His ability to heal the incurable disease. And this portion of Scripture isn’t just so we rejoice at this amazing healing from long ago, but that our faith would be stirred today, in the time of our need for His healing touch. Let’s look at a modern day healing and be encouraged that we serve a living God who is both able and willing to heal us today.

On October 10, 2019, Liberty submits a prayer request on behalf of her father. She writes, “My dad had prostate cancer years ago had a botched operation and lots of radiation therapy. Last week his doctor told him he had skin cancer. I need people to believe with me that his body is completely restored in the name of Jesus. We are not believing the lie of the enemy. Thank you.”

I respond to her request on October 17, 2019. “Liberty, in the name of Jesus’ I renounce this cancer lingering in his body. I curse it at its root and seed and command it to die off at the seed and dry up at the roots and be completely gone from his body, never to return again. I command every cancerous cell and tumor to be gone in Jesus’ name. I say, body be healed, be strengthened, and be made whole for the glory of God, amen.”

Liberty writes back on November 11, 2019 with this wonderful praise report. “Becky I want to thank you and give all the Glory to God for my dad’s healing.
The doctor had taken a biopsy from his face, he was told it was skin cancer. The following tests showed NOTHING, I think they were surprised because they even took an x-ray of it to make sure. He is all clear and will remain that way in Jesus’ name. Thank you Lord for your mercy.”

Our God is able and willing to heal skin cancer, or whatever deadly disease that is attacking you and your loved ones.

God Heals Lung Cancer

God still heals, and yesterday morning I receive this wonderful testimony from Paul and Jane in Europe that shows God still heals. And in this case–God heals lung cancer.

“Dear Becky, I’m Paul from Europe. I wrote to you this year 11.02. and 04.03. about my wife, Jane’s illness. She had lung cancer. Your prayers, Becky, have been answered! Jane is healed. Doctors gave her a biological treatment. During the treatment she had special examinations of the whole body in June and again in October. The cancer is gone! Doctors will investigate it again in February 2020. My wife Jane and I thank Jesus Christ every day for healing. Your prayers for my wife and reading the prayers on your website gave my wife strength. Thank you very much. Thank you very much for your prayers and your ministry. Paul and Jane from Europe.”

Perhaps you have received a hopeless report from your doctor. What should you do?

1. First of all, choose life. God’s Word tells us in Deuteronomy 30:19-20, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, you shall choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, by loving the Lord your God, by obeying His voice, and by holding closely to Him; for He is your life [your good life, your abundant life, your fulfillment] and the length of your days, that you may live in the land which the Lord promised (swore) to give to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”

2. Trust God. Proverbs 3:5-6 explains to us how we are to trust, and what God will do for us when we put our trust in Him. “Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].” And again in Mark 23, Jesus says, “[You say to Me,] ‘If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts [in Me]!”

3. Renounce the spirit of death, and the disease. We discover that we have power in our words in proverbs 18:21. It says it like this, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.“

4. Speak Life. Even if the report is filled with death and gloom, speak life! Romans 4:17 instructs us this way, “(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.”

5. And finally act out your faith-filled words. James 2:18, explains the importance of putting action behind your words, “But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.“

Telltale Signs That a Spirit of Death Is Attacking You

Before I share the telltale signs that a spirit of death is attacking you, let’s discuss how it gains access into our lives.

The spirit of death is sly and cunning, and it works in the realm of spiritual darkness. It first enters into the mind and the emotions when we least expect it. Especially, when we lack time in the Word, our faith level dwindles, and our spiritual defenses are easy for the enemy to breach. Or when we fall ill, we tend to let our spiritual guard down, and the enemy takes advantage of this spiritual weakness. The spirit of death also has a vicious appetite for the vulnerable and unsuspecting people of this world. These are some common inroads where it gains access to do its evil.

Telltale Signs That a Spirit of Death Is Attacking You

The following is a list to help you discern whether or not you are being attacked by a spirit of death.

You are diagnosed with a rare and/or incurable disease.
There is an onslaught of sickness and disease reoccurring in your body.
You are battling with discouraging thoughts to give up the fight and die.
You are dealing with a barrage of accidents and strange events that can lead to death.
You are struggling with suicidal thoughts.
You are fighting with murderous and terroristic thoughts against others.
You desire to abort your baby.
You continuously engage in behaviors and activities that invite death, such as reckless driving, life-threatening sports, drug and alcohol abuse, and other negative habits that display a death wish.

As you read through this list of telltale signs are you under attack from a spirit of death? Are you or a loved one struggling with any of these telltale signs from this list above? Did you know that you are created to overcome this attack? God created you to be more than a conqueror over every attack from the enemy–including an attack from a spirit of death.

There is a Spirit of Death Over our Nation and People

There is a spirit of death over our nation and people. And the alarming thing is that many do not see it, but nevertheless it is here. And it is working hard against us in these last days. Perhaps, when we do not realize the connection between the physical realm and the spirit realm we don’t understand the root of the problem, therefore, we try to fight our battles in the flesh, but they are won in the spirit.

In my latest work, “Conquering the Spirit of Death” I deal with the many ways it is attacking us and our loved ones today. But more importantly, I teach you through the Word how to conquer this spirit of death. But before I share with you the “how to” I feel it is important that we consider some of the ways it is attacking us today. *Note: The following is from “Conquering the Spirit of Death”, Chapter 1, The Spirit of Death, pages 8-9.

It is very evident to me that today many are in need of this teaching as well. This week alone, the prayer requests from my readers are filled with distress calls for deliverance and healing from the spirit of death that is rising against them in many forms.

God’s people are crying out for deliverance from a spirit of suicide, for encouragement and a reason not to abort their children, for divine intervention and protection from near deadly attacks from abusive family members and demon-possessed strangers.

Many others are seeking help to heal from the last stages of breast cancer, prostate cancer, kidney failure, and rare and incurable diseases.

The news is filled with disasters that are sweeping the lives of hundreds and thousands off this earth and into an eternity in hell with no hope of escape. And not so popular in the news, whether it be Christian or secular sources, is the onslaught of persecution of our Christian brothers and sisters around the world who are being martyred for their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

As followers of Jesus, how do we respond? How do we go beyond just mere survival in these last days, and step into the promise that we are more than conquerors, and actually defeat and conquer the spirit of death?

God wants us to know how to conquer this spirit of death. He wants us to have His full revelation concerning our victory in Christ. His Word so beautifully tells us in Second Corinthians 2:14, “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”

Let’s pray.

Dearest Holy Spirit,

You are our Teacher, and we ask You to diffuse the fragrance of Your knowledge in every place so that we might triumph in Christ. Glory be to God in the manifestation of this revelation in our lives that we are more than conquerors, including victory over the spirit of death. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, amen.

It’s Time to Rise and Shine–Prophetic Word

The Spirit of the Lord would say to you this day;

“It’s time to rise and shine with the resurrection power of Holy Spirit.

It’s time to rise and shine with all boldness, not withholding in this late hour.

It’s time to rise and shine and declare the goodness of God to a lost and dying world.

Yes, the antichrist spirit is rising up quickly, and it’s strong—but even still, greater am I, Jesus in you then he, satan who is in this world.

I created you to be a light in the darkness, now rise and shine, and yes, give God the glory.

I created you to be victorious, now fight the good fight of faith.

I created you to be a conqueror–more than a conqueror.

But you cannot win, if you will not fight the battle before you.

Pick up your spiritual weapons and fight the way My Word instructs you.

In Me you are undefeated.

With Me you win.

And I created you to win always, not just once in a while.

But you choose this day to win or to give up.

Remember, I never gave up on you and I never will.

I overcame the human will so you can overcome it too.

This is the first step to win any and every battle that you face.

Now remember to rise and shine with My resurrection power today.

And again I say, “My Beloved, it’s time to rise and shine.””

Depending upon your affiliation of worship you were either expected to endure with the misconception that the evil attack was a blessing in disguise sent to you from God. Remember, God is Not the Mountain

It’s important to know and remember that God is not the mountain standing in your way, satan is. Therefore, while speaking to this mountain, and not about the mountain, you do not beg God for your answer. He completed His work at Calvary, and now it is your turn to work His work. If you will prophesy accurately to this mountain, it will move and be cast into the sea. Learn to prophesy healing with accuracy, hit the mark, and cause that mountain to crumble from the inside to the outside–and watch it fall down.

This is not a correct healing confession: “Even though I have symptoms in my body, they can do no permanent damage to my body because I was healed at the Cross”? As long as we confess with our mouths that we have symptoms, by the power of these words we will continue to have them. And if we say that these symptoms can have no permanent damage, we constrain them from producing permanent damage, but still allow them to do some level of damage with these types of confessions. And obviously we want to rid ourselves from symptoms all together so it would be better to select faith statements full of authority and bring all forms of symptoms under submission to the Word of God.

In other words, do not give the symptom room to remain in your body and cause suffering. It’s better to speak out, “I take the authority given me by the atoning blood of Christ and I declare that I am free and healed from all symptoms, sickness, and disease that try to attack my body. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.”
