Activate God’s Peace in Your Life

woman crying Many people are suffering from daily stress and strife, and this too effects the physical body and can make one sick. Let’s fill our minds with the peace of God, and allow His healing words to transform the condition of our physical bodies. Be at peace today.

Read and ponder upon these 31 Scriptures about God’s peace for us.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Galatians 5:22.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Colossians 3:15.
I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8.
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:1-3.
Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; for the future of that man is peace. Psalm 37:37.
But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace. 1 Corinthians 7:15.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

Great peace have those who love Your law, and nothing causes them to stumble. Psalm 119:165.
“For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12.
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27.
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah 52:7.
For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 5:1.
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6.
elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: grace to you and peace be multiplied. 1 Peter 1:2.
Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.” Mark 9:50.

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. For he who serves Christ in these things is acceptable to God and approved by men. Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. Romans 14: 17-19.
Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Corinthians 13:11.

Seizures Stop by Speaking the Word

I have been teaching you the power of the spoken word and encouraging you to write up a confession of faith for healing and to speak it out over you and your loved ones daily.

Well, I love the healing power of the Holy Spirit. Not only does it heal the physical body, but the life of the person is forever changed. As is the case with one of my regular readers of the daily devotional sent via email.

Karen and her husband have been believing for the healing of their son, Jon for many reasons. One desired healing was to be healed from daily seizures. Let’s look at some of the steps of faith they have put into practice.

They are Christians.
They believe in the healing power of the Holy Spirit.
They have been praying and fasting as a family.
Members in the Church they attend have been praying for Jon.
They have asked the elders to anoint him with oil and pray for him.

They still were not seeing the desired changes. I suggested to Karen that she write up a confession of faith for healing and start declaring this over her son. They started doing this last Sunday and do know what has happened? The daily seizures have stopped for the glory of our Lord!

I am so blessed by this family and that they choose to put their faith in action for their son. That they are teachable and willing to work the Word of God.

Read Karen’s praise report. “I finally got this written up this past weekend, and my husband and I pray it over Jonathan every night before he goes to bed, and I pray it every morning with Jon (he loves to cuddle up with me while I have my morning time with God, so I just read the Scriptures out loud to him). I gave a copy to our prayer minister and also a copy to Jon’s children’s church director, who is a great woman of faith. She prayed it over Jon in children’s church on Sunday. The first part of the healing confession is Scriptures of healing and authority, that we claim, and the second part is detailed commands for specific spirits that need to leave and areas of his body that need healing. Since we began praying and claiming this confession on Sunday night, Jon has not had ANY seizures, and we also are seeing the depression lifting. Praise God!”

And read another report a couple days later, “Jon is continuing to prosper in all areas – he has his energy back, he is achieving tasks at school that they’ve been trying to teach him all year, he is giggling and smiling again, and he is starting to say words again, he has his appetite back. (and I will add updates as healing continues to manifest).“

Here is the confession of faith that they are speaking over their son daily:

“Heavenly Father, You have promised that Your Word will not return void, but it will accomplish what You desire, and it will succeed in the matter for which You sent it. (Is. 55)

So today, we stand on Your Word! Your Word says,

Jesus took our diseases, and He carried our affliction…the chastening for our health fell on Him, and by His stripes, we are healed. (Is. 53)

The prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. (James 5)

Those who believe will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover! (Mk 16)

Jesus has been placed far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, Everything is in subjection under His feet. (Eph. 1)

The Son of God was manifested to destroy the works of the Devil. (I Jn 3)

If God is for us, who can be against us? He will graciously give us all things! We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us! (Rom. 8)

Through God we will do valiantly, and He will trample under our feet our affliction. (Ps. 108)

So today, we declare an insurrection against the powers of darkness that have been keeping Jon down!

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we cast out the evil spirit of Epilepsy and it may never come back. Neurons must function normally without hyperexcitability. Neuronal networks must function with the proper level of inhibition.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we permanently cast out the evil spirit of Autism. Aggressive actions must leave. Stimming behaviors must leave. Sleep disorders must leave. Sensory processing disorder must leave now.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we permanently cast out the evil mute spirit. The Broca’s area of Jonathan’s brain and other areas responsible for memory, word recall, and production of clear, articulate, and fluent speech are regenerated and made whole.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we permanently cast out the evil spirit of depression that inhibits smiles, laughter, dancing, and an interest in the world.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Jonathan’s brain is being recreated to a normal size, and healed from the stigmata of Down Syndrome, and from damage caused by seizures and seizure meds, and from all damage caused by lack of oxygen at birth. The lesion on his right temporal lobe, and the cluster of bright spots on his left frontal lobe are both healed. Cognitive disability is healed. Attention deficit is healed. Impulsivity is healed.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, all stigmata of Down Syndrome on Jonathan’s body is removed. Hypothyroid disease is healed. Muscle tone and flexibility are made normal. Nasal passages are made normal, and breathing is regular. Macrocytosis and any other bone marrow or blood cell disorder are healed now. Tongue and upper palate size are recreated to normal size. Jon will grow until he attains normal height.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, kidneys, liver, and any other organs and blood cells in Jonathan’s body damaged by seizures and seizure meds are healed.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Jon’s digestive system is completely healed, and inflammatory bowel disease and chronic diarrhea is gone.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Jon has bladder and bowel control and is no longer incontinent.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, every cell and every strand of DNA and every part of Jonathan’s body from the top of his head to the soles of his feet are healed and completely normal.

Hallelujah! Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!”

A Reason to Believe

On the news, whether the source is secular or Christian you read or hear about how sickness, disease, plagues, pain and suffering are on the rise. Have you ever wondered why these devilish things are increasing?

When we preach from human reasoning, instead of the truth found in Scripture, people suffer. When we put all our faith in what the doctor says, in place of the Bible, miracles cease. When we trust secular physcology, rather than heed biblical counsel, healing is hindered.

We suffer from unanswered prayers when we give into the world’s system of doubt and unbelief, but we can change the situation around and learn to believe again. In order to do so, we need a reason to believe. Let’s look to the Word, find our reason, and believe.

6 Reasons Why We Can Believe in God to Keep His Promises:

He is truthful. “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Num. 23:19.
He is just. “He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are justice, a God of truth and without injustice; righteous and upright is” Deut. 32:4.
He is able. “And being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” Rom. 4:21.
He is willing. “Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.” Mt. 8:3.
He is faithful. “He who calls you is faithful, who also will do ” 1 Thess. 5:24.
His faithfulness is unconditional. “If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” 2 Tim. 2:13.

Why You Can Trust God’s Word:

It’s alive and powerful. “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Heb. 4:12.
It is inspired of God. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Tim. 3:16-17.

Benefits of Trusting God’s Word:

God’s blessing. “More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” Lk. 11:28.
Freedom. “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Jn. 8: 31-32.
Protection. “As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” Ps. 18:30.
Knowledge and Understanding. “For the Lord gives wisdom; for the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding;” Prov. 2:6.
Life and Healing. “My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.” Prov. 4: 20-22.

If you will spend time and meditate upon these Scriptures you will find your reason to believe in God and His Word again.

A Prayer for the Assistance of Ministering Angels

Luke 1: 26-27 says, “Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.”

The Father sent His angel Gabriel to this earth to deliver a message to Mary that would change her life. Did you know that He still sends angels to this earth to minister to His people? The Bible says concerning these angels in Hebrews 1:14, “Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants) sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of those who are to inherit salvation?” AMP

Do you feel like your situation needs extra help? Have you considered praying to the Father for the assistance of His ministering angels?

We need to learn to take the limits off of God, and allow Him to minister to us as He wills. Many believers are receiving angelic visitations from the Lord. I know I have had angelic activity in my life, and I expect even more ministry in this way. How about you? Where are you at in your spiritual walk with the Lord? Will you allow Him to send His ministering angels to minister to you?

Here is my petition to the Lord for you this day.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I ask You to send forth your angels to minister to the needs of my dear friends this day. That many will see, hear and receive a special angelic touch from You that will heal them in spirit, soul and body.

For those that are fighting against a spirit of death that they receive a divine healing touch and they will rise from their deathbeds completely healed.

And for all that are suffering from physical pain, sickness and disease I ask that Your ministering angels will encompass them and release their physical healing this very moment.

I pray for others that are fighting against a spirit of deception that they will receive a message of truth that will set them free, and lead them down the path of repentance, and back into the arms of the Heavenly Father.

Holy Spirit, send forth Your angels that will minister love, and acceptance to those that are contemplating suicide today. Give them the message of hope that is needed to choose life and to carry on to the victory that comes only from the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

For those that are in the place of major decisions today, that will affect the lives of them and their families, release Your ministering angels and strengthen them to do what is right according to Your Word.

Whatever the need may be, I ask that You will release Your angels to minister to them by the power of Your grace.

In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

A Time of Grace

This Word from the Lord was given to me on October 5, 2010 for the body of Christ and is included in my recent book, “Greater Than Magic” on pages 165 – 167.

“You are entering into a time of grace that you have not known before. My grace will be very strong upon you.

“The earth is shaking, it is quaking, it has been deeply moaning the evil that fills this place, but My children will increase in the power of My grace. My grace is all-sufficient for the challenges My children face. The end is near. It is nearer than you realize. Embrace the strength of My grace.

“Things will not be like before; they will be different in every form. But My victories will be greater than you’ve experienced before.

“The political arena is very unstable and soon to collapse. Many will fear, but know that I am drawing near.

“The economy as the world knows is crumbling from beneath them. Many will take their lives for fear of failure. That is a life controlled by the spirit of mammon.

“Wickedness is becoming wickeder than you have seen before. Right will become wrong and wrong will become right in the eyes of the unregenerated soul. It will be worse than in the days of Noah. Perversion will be worse than it has ever been. What was once inconceivable to the average person will become acceptable and normal. My word prophesies these things; they cannot be stopped.

“But in the midst of great filth is a safe haven for My beloved Bride. In My presence she will find refreshing for her weary soul. Deep in My presence she will hide and ride in safety in the midst of a terrible and frightful storm. Even though the waves of this storm will crush and destroy, My Bride will outride the storm,

“Understanding of My Word will continue to increase; things will become clearer and clearer as the time draws nearer.

“My Bride needs to press into My Holy presence. She needs to be cloaked in My grace. She will need to pick up her pace in order to complete her race as she will soon look upon My face and she will be dressed in a bride’s fine, white lace.

“The tables are set. Everything is in its place. The white linens are laid and the banquet feast has been prepared. Invite everyone who will come to join us for the finest banquet that has ever been served. The bread and the wine have already been given. There are still yet invitations that have no reply; many have not been sent yet. Invite the people to come and feast with Me.

“Time as you know it will change. The clock is winding down on this phase of time. And the new millennium is being ushered in. Eternity as you speak of is at hand.

“Grace is the word for this hour, and its power you will receive as you gaze upon My face. An occasional glance will not receive; it’s the fixed position that sets its release.

“Bitter is the wine of religion, but sweet to the taste is the wine of My fellowship. I came to restore the sweet flavor of My wine. Now it’s time to take and taste My wine and dine with Me and My Father. My Spirit is calling; the invitation is in the wind. And this wind is blowing to all corners of the earth, refreshing those who will take My cup and sip of the eternal sweetness of My wine.”

3 Reasons Why Christians Have Authority over Sickness and Disease

I receive many questions from people concerning healing. One frequent question is, “Do Christians really have authority over sickness and disease?” According to the Bible the answer is yes. But I want to teach you why we have authority over all sickness and disease.

To begin with, sickness and disease are made up of tiny living organisms called bacterias and viruses. Let’s take a closer look at these.

The American Lung Association says that “Bacteria and viruses are living organisms that cause diseases”. ¹

What is the definition of an organism? “An individual form of life, such as a plant, animal, bacterium, protist, or fungus; a body made up of organs, organelles, or other parts that work together to carry on the various processes of life.”²

Once, I asked the Lord for a simple explanation as to why we have authority over all sickness and disease. And He answered me with the following vision and Scripture.

I saw myself looking into a microscope, and on the plate of glass being examined were sickness and disease. The Lord asked me to tell Him what I saw. I told Him that I saw them moving. He explained to me that is because sickness and disease are made up of microscopic living organisms that move, and get inside the body and make people sick.

He then gave me the following verse from Genesis 1:28, ““Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

According to this verse we have been given dominion over everything that lives and moves on this earth, including sickness and disease. To dominate means to control, govern, or rule by superior authority or power. ³He has given us dominion over these tiny microscopic organisms.

What about bacteria? “Bacteria are organisms made up of just one cell. They are capable of multiplying by themselves, as they have the power to divide. Their shapes vary, and doctors use these characteristics to separate them into groups.

Bacteria exist everywhere, inside and on our bodies. Most of them are completely harmless and some of them are very useful. But some can cause disease, either because they end up in the wrong place in the body or simply because they are ‘designed’ to invade us.”⁴

Ponder upon this phrase concerning harmful bacteria for a while, “designed to invade us”. Spiritually speaking this sounds like a weapon of warfare. What does God’s Word say about weapons that are formed to harm us? It says, “No weapon formed against us shall prosper.” (See Isaiah 54:17.) Our Lord promises us that these weapon formed against us, including harmful bacteria shall not prosper.

What about a virus?

A virus is “an ultramicroscopic (20 to 300 nm in diameter), metabolically inert, infectious agent that replicates only within the cells of living hosts, mainly bacteria, plants, and animals: composed of an RNA or DNA core, a protein coat, and, in more complex types, a surrounding envelope.”⁵

Did you notice in the definition that a virus is called an infectious agent? Again, this is something to cause us harm. And according to James 1:17 God does not give us things that will harm us. It says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” Jesus makes it clear in John 10:10 just who these things come from. “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” The thief is satan and he uses his weapons of sickness and disease to harm us. God does not give us infectious agents.

Science teaches us that there are different types of infectious agents. Infectious agents come in many shapes and sizes. Bacteria and protozoa are microscopic one-celled organisms, while viruses are even smaller. Fungi grow like plants and helminths resemble worms.⁶

What hope does the Lord give us concerning these infectious agents? He says in Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

3 Biblical reasons why Christians have authority over all sickness and disease:

He gives us dominion over all living things on this earth, including microscopic organisms that can make us sick.
God promises us that weapons formed against us, including harmful bacteria designed to invade us shall not prosper.
Jesus Christ gives to us all authority over satan and his wicked works, including infectious agents called viruses.

Choose Forgiveness

Everyday we have opportunities to choose forgiveness. Spouses, children, friends, neighbors, colleagues, even complete strangers can hurt us. Therefore, we are faced with daily decisions to forgive, or to ask for forgiveness, or to be bitter and full of vengeance.

Unforgiveness is a weapon of satan to destroy the offended person from the inside to the outside. And if it is not dealt with it will turn into bitterness. The Bible says that “bitterness dries up the bones”. (See Proverbs 17:22.) It dehydrates the flow of life from deep within the spirit, soul, and body.

The only way to be free from this is to choose the path of forgiveness. God’s Word is very clear concerning forgiveness. It says in Matthew 6:14-15, “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” You must choose forgiveness.

3 Steps to Forgiveness:

1. Ask the Father to forgive you for the offense you have done, or for not being willing to forgive another person for what they have done to you.

2. Forgive yourself.

3. Ask the offended to forgive you.

The following is a beautiful testimony of forgiveness.

A divorced man with 7 daughters was given a chance to help his daughters start to heal emotionally from years of pain that he caused them. But he struggled within himself to make the right choice. Convinced they would never believe him, he was afraid that his daughters would not accept his apology.

He also struggled to forgive himself. We shared with him the power of Jesus Christ to forgive and to release us from all unrighteousness. We gave him the opportunity to make his life right with Jesus. He accepted the offer and prayed and asked the Father to forgive him, and asked Jesus to be his Savior.

We began to explain to the man that his girls need to hear him apologize too so that they can start to heal. And without his sincere words of sorrow for the pain he has caused they would have a very difficult life. We asked him if that is what he wants for them.

With tears he asks each one of his daughters to come to him and he looks each one in the eye and asks them to forgive him. Each one falls into his arms and cries from the depths of their hearts.

This man makes the right choice and asks for forgiveness, and you can too.

Tendinitis Healed

Margie from Hendersonville, TN writes to testify of her physical healing. She says, “I had been to the ER that day, they said tendinitis. I couldn’t lift my arm (using my shoulder) as much as 3 inches in any direction. The doc gave me a strong anti-inflammatory, and muscle relaxers. I had both in me when I saw you.

You prayed, and I put my faith into action. If you remember, I worked and worked that arm for the rest of the service…and with the help of my other (good) hand, I was able to get the injured arm over my head.but I wasn’t able to do it without the assistance of the other arm. It just wouldn’t go on its own.

That was day 1. Day 2, Thursday, I took 1 of each pill, and noticed some improvement but the pills, at the recommended dosages of 3 muscles relaxers and 3 anti-inflammatories daily were too much for me so I moved to 1 of each daily, before bed, and that was it.

Each day thereafter I noticed steady improvements… and they were big improvements…not minor. It took from last Wednesday night to this Tuesday morning to be fully pain free and have my complete range of motion back. I even have all the strength back and am able to carry whatever I want on that side.

Prayer for the Assistance of Ministering Angels

Here is my petition to the Lord for you this day.

Dear Heavenly Father,

For those that are fighting against a spirit of death that they receive a divine healing touch and they will rise from their deathbeds completely healed.

And for all that are suffering from physical pain, sickness and disease I ask that Your ministering angels will encompass them and release their physical healing this very moment.

Holy Spirit, send forth Your angels that will minister love and acceptance to those that are contemplating suicide today. Give them the message of hope that is needed to choose life and to carry on to the victory that comes only from the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

Whatever the need may be, I ask that You will release Your angels to minister to them by the power of Your grace.

In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
