Consistency with your confession of faith is the key when it comes to bringing your miraculous transformation to fruition.

If you are constantly whining and complaining you will not have a miraculous intervention. This is what the Israelites did. And because of it they ended up wandering around in the desert for 40 years when it was only an 11 day journey. They complained about everything and were thankful for nothing. Think about all that the Lord had done for them, supernaturally rescued them from their enemy, and provided for their every need. He provided supernaturally protection from plagues, and the spirit of death, and again by supernatural means gave them direction by a cloud in the daylight, and protection by a pillar of fire in the night, a made a way of escape for them from their enemy by parting the Red Sea, satisfied their thirst by pouring water from a rock, rained down fresh bread, and quail (meat) from heaven. Their clothing and their shoes did not even wear out. And all they could do was complain and accuse God and their leaders of evil intentions.

We read this and think to ourselves how spiritually blind they were, but we can act just like they did. God gives us everything we have need of and yet we allow our confession of faith to be filled with doubt and unbelief. How do we change this?

It is needful for us to repent for our willful and negative confessions of faith.
We need to ask forgiveness for the reason behind these negative words against our God and His readiness to meet our every need.
The next step is to ask Holy Spirit for His help to teach us to hear how negatively we speak against the promises of God.
And along with Holy Spirit’s help to hear how we speak, we need to ask Him to teach us how to speak with faith for our needs to be met.
We need to focus on the promise of God to meet our need, and not on the problem.
We need to make a quality decision to use the power of our words and speak God’s promises no matter what is going on in our bodies or the situations around us.
And we have to speak faith on a consistent basis, and not just once in a while.

If we will put these 7 principles into practice our confessions of faith will produce what they are meant to.

Grow Our Faith by the Study of God’s Word

In a recent devotional we discussed how we learn about faith from others, and today we will learn to grow our faith by the study of God’s Word.

Jesus shares with us a parable in Luke 8:14-15 about how faith grows in different types of spiritual soil. Let’s look to these Scriptures to learn how to grow our faith. “The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.”

Obviously, when we read this portion of Scripture we sense a pricking in our spirit and we do not want to be found among those with thorny spiritual soil. But how do we prevent this from happening in our faith walk with Jesus? What measures can we take to prevent thorns from producing in our spiritual soil? Firstly, we need to examine our own hearts, judge our thoughts, words, and actions against the Word of God. Ask ourselves, “Have I allowed life’s worries to overrun my mind and emotions?” “Are the riches and pleasures of this world controlling me?” “Am I in the same condition, spiritually speaking as I was last year in this area of life?” If when we judge our hearts and find that our faith seeds have been chocked out by the weeds of this world we need to pull the weed seeds out of our spiritual gardens and change out the soil, and replant our gardens. How do we do this?

Admit to God that we are not where we should be in our faith walk.
Ask Him to forgive us for allowing the things of this world to choke out our faith.
Ask the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you into all truth.
Open up your Bible and read it, study it, speak it, and this time live it.

Or after reading this portion of Scripture from Luke 8: 14-15 you can honestly say to yourself that you have overcome these weaknesses and temptations in your life, and are stronger in the faith then you were last year? You will know that you are growing in the faith as you can look at the fruit being produced in your life. Healthy vegetation produces from good soil, that that is filled with the necessary nutrients to produce good fruit. But even still, just because you have a strong crop now in your life, you still must maintain a lifestyle in the Word of God. For even strong and healthy soil if not tended to properly will get depleted and only be able to produce thorns, those spiritual weed seeds that are not healthy for us and hurt us in our physical lives.

In Joshua 1:8 God shares the secret to growing our faith and living it out successfully, “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.“

Let’s pray this simple, but heartfelt prayer together.

Father God,

In the name of Jesus’ as I examine my faith walk I see things that I know are displeasing to you, and are preventing me from being where I should be with You, spiritually speaking. Forgive me for allowing the cares of this world to surpress my faith and prevent it from growing strong. Holy Spirit, I ask You to lead me and guide me into all truths in Your ways as I make a quality decision and open up my Bible and read, study, speak and live out Your Word today. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.

How to Respond to Negative Medical Reports

What do we do when even though our faith is overriding the physical situation and the doctors can see that what they are predicting is not happening, but they continue to prophesy the worst over us and our loved ones? Let’s read this prayer request from a woman today and talk about it together.

“Hi Mrs. Becky, God has blessed my husband and I with a baby boy. From 4 months in the womb they had claimed my baby had a singular ventricle and would not live without surgery. They tried to have me terminate my baby. My husband and I said no. He was born through a c section. They claimed a surgery would happen 1-2 days after birth, then another one 2-3 months then 6 months. He is 4 months old and not one surgery has happened. Still now they are saying a surgery will happen 6months to a year.”

How should we respond to medical reports, such as the one listed above? I address this in my latest work, “The Prophetic and Healing Power of Your Words”, chapter 3, “Negative and Poisonous Word Curses”, pages 46-47, under the subtitle, “Unintentional Word Curses”.

A man is not feeling well and goes to the doctor for a check-up. He hears a report that his blood pressure is very high. Instead of just telling the man the results and that they are going to work with him to bring it down, the doctor speaks words of death and demonstrates with actions that this man will have a heart attack or a stroke. The conversation goes beyond reporting results and the doctor unintentionally prophesies death.

How should this man respond to the doctor’s colorful report? After all, he did seek the doctor out for medical advice. How about, “That’s not going to happen to me. I will do what it takes to bring this blood pressure down to normal levels. Will you help me do this?”

Another man was told he was going to die of kidney disease. This man firmly said, “No, I am not going to die.” And he’s alive and well.

Another person is told they will never walk again. This one said, “I do not receive that. I will walk again.” And he did.

As you can read from this little excerpt from the book that we do not have to settle for the negative medical report. We have a say so in our health situation. We can make a quality decision of faith and prophesy life, strength, healing and health into our bodies. And along with prophesying health into our bodies in the name of Jesus, we also need to remember that faith demands action and we need to put action behind our bold words of faith too. If you receive a death report, not only speak the opposite of this negative report and speak life, strength and healing, but act like you are going to live.

And so that you understand how we should prophesy health and healing over our bodies I have included my response to the woman’s prayer request in the beginning of this post.

“In the name of Jesus’ every negative report they are speaking over your baby will not come to pass. You have made the right choice to believe the report of the Lord, and by the healing whips of Jesus his heart is recreated, strong and healthy and functions 100%. There is no heart defect, only recreation, healing, and a strong heart for the glory of the Lord, amen.”

Faith Scriptures for Healing:

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit, Proverbs 18:21.

(As it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; Romans 4:17.

Take the Kingdom of God by Force

We desire to walk in the manifested blessings of God, and God desires this as well. This is His plan for each and everyone of us. But we also have an enemy, satan that fights against us to prevent us from moving into and living in the kingdom of God. And yet, we are given everything necessary to get there. Let’s see what the Scriptures have to say about taking the kingdom of God by force, and talk a bit about it.

“Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.” (Matthew 11:11-13), NKJV.

“The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing their way into it.” (Luke 16:16), NIV.

What is being said here to us in these two Scripture passages is that we have a decision to make, entering into the Kingdom of God is not easy. There is an evil force that works against us and tries to prevent us from entering into the promises of God. But God’s people need to be equally forceful in this battle and activate our faith, and even fight the enemy with our supernatural weapons of faith.
With our son’s amazing healing testimony–that I share with you in detail in DARE to Believe, chapter 11, pages 175-193–we had to take Marcos’ healing by force. The spirit of death was not willing to let go of him. But we activated every weapon of faith given to us, and we raised him from the dead and recreated all his vital organs by prophetic healing power and because we did not back down, we won. And he is alive and well.

Word of the Lord

THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD WOULD SAY TO YOU AGAIN, “I have heard your longing to move in this gift of healing, and it is for you too. You take this message that I bring before you, devour it, and let your words produce for My glory in these last days.”

Boldly Declare Your Healing

I will boldly declare my healing, even when the attack of the enemy bears down hard and the reports shout death, I will not fear. I put my trust in my God:

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21).

Like Abraham, I make a quality decision to believe “in the presence of Him whom he believed–God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did” (Rom. 4:17). I boldly declare His abundant life, healing, power, and supernatural strength to overtake my body.

I bind myself to the power of the blood of Jesus to take down this illness, to heal me, to recreate this physical body of mine, to renew my strength. According to the healing words of Isaiah 40:29-31, because I wait upon the Lord, I will mount up with wings like eagles, I will run and not be weary, I will walk and not faint, in Jesus’ name I declare, amen.

And this day I boldly declare God’s promise about my healing that “I will not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord”, Psalm 118:17.

Be Ready for My Coming Is at Hand

The Spirit of the Lord would say to you in this hour;

“Wake up. It’s not time to sleep or to slumber, for the greatest hour of power is upon you.

Light is crashing into darkness, and the light will not blend with this darkness, but will cause a great separation.

You are either for Me or you are against Me, and the motives of your heart will be clear for all to see.

If you love the ways of this world, the love of My Father is not in you.

You make your decision this day about who you will follow.

My sheep hear My voice, and the voice of another they will not follow.

No longer will I allow you to hide behind titles and positions–your sins will find you out.

Now is the time to get down on your knees and repent of the darkness that you have been harboring within your heart.

Those that repent of their sins are forgiven and set free from them, and those that do not are bound to the chains of their chosen sins.

I am not taking you out of this world, but calling you to let your light so shine within it that they may see your good works and glorify My Father in heaven.

I have been sending you My prophets and yet many of you refuse to head the message upon their tongue.

The time is ever so short and I need my people to prepare for My great coming.

Prepare your hearts for all that is about to take place. Do not allow even a bit of leaven to remain. Release yourself from the sin of unbelief.

I am coming for My bride who is without sport or wrinkle.

Get rid of the leprous spots of sin by the power of My blood, and iron out all the wrinkles of the old man and his ways.

Be ready in season and out of season to share with others your reason to believe.

Be prepared to demonstrate with the power of Holy Spirit My love for them with signs and wonders that truly make a difference in their lives.

I tell you that all lives matter, young and old and in between, and the color of skin does not matter, for I have created all equally with the same power–My love.

What counts is what’s on the inside. Do you love Me? And if you do, you will feed my sheep and tend to my lambs.

I say to you, “Love Me with all your heart, soul, and might, and fight the good fight of faith, remain faithful to the very end. And those who will remain faithful to Me to the very end will hear, “Well done, though good and faithful servant.” And to hear the sound of these words will make all things worth it in the very end.

The end of this earth is near, and it is nearer than you think. The hour is upon you.

You will witness great darkness, and this darkness will quickly overtake the earth. But be not dismayed, for even in the midst of great filth, rebellion, and grave sin the light within you will shine even brighter.

Snuff out your light they will try, and they will if you let them. But for those of you that will take a stand for Me, I will uphold with My righteous right hand. And if I am for you, who can stand up against you? You need to ask yourself, “Am I willing to take this stand?” And if so, “How do I strengthen myself now for what is at hand?”

Prepare yourselves in My Word, read it, study it, speak it, and live it. And be ready to share it with your life to all those around you. Take time now and hide away with Me in the presence of My Father. Learn to sit still and listen for that still small voice of the Spirit. And be very aware of a very powerful spirit of deception that has risen from the depths of hell against you. This spirit of deception will come to you as an angel of light, it will be beautiful to behold, and for the unsuspecting it will snuff your light for me out, and you will walk hand in hand with it, but know that you have been foretold of it’s assignment against you–to steal, to kill, and to destroy you. And for the undiscerning it’s attack will be subtle and seemingly harmless, and for those not in right standing with Me their light will be snuffed out.

You are not a lone ranger in this battle, but you are part of a body–My body, and even though you may be part of a remnant–together you are stronger than ever. It will appear that you are outnumbered, but open up your spiritual eyes in this hour and know that there is a heavenly host around about you, and I am making intercession on your behalf and they obey My command as you release the protection of My righteous right hand with your prayers of faith.

Oh, eye has not seen, and ear has not heard all of what is about to take place. For soon, and very soon, you are about to gaze upon My face. The completion of your spiritual race is about to take place. I say to you–pick up your pace, for soon you will be dressed with a fine white lace, and you will leave this earth without a trace of the wickedness of this place.

For those that have made the right choice, it’s time to lift up your voice and rejoice.

For My coming is at hand, just as it was planned. And for those of you that will take a stand, and your station you faithfully man, you will not be like sinking sand, but I will pluck you from the enemy’s hand, and around My throne you shall surely stand. Again I say, “Be ready, for My coming is at hand.”

Fight the Good Fight of Faith

Even when the situation cries death and hopelessness–fight the good fight of faith.

Never give up, and never give in to the enemy’s fear tactics.

No matter what the situation looks like–with Jesus there is always hope.

Hope for healing and miracles, and hope for a future.

Remember, Jesus suffered and died in your place, and it was a horrible place,

but then joy returned in the morning when He rose from the dead, and this is reason to stand fast for your miracle.

The enemy whispers wicked lies to implant seeds of doubt within your mind,

because he knows it’s the pathway to your heart.

His vision is to steer you into the realm of unbelief,

and his mission to get you to enter there is to steal your hope, kill your trust in Jesus, and ultimately destroy your life.

This is why more than ever before, you must hold up your shield of faith to ward off the fiery darts of the enemy,

and every time he manifests with lies, symptoms, and complications thrust your sword of the Spirit at him and declare God’s promises to you instead.

The devil is a liar, there is no truth in him. He is the father of all lies.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the God of all truth.

In Jesus you will always find your hope, your reason to believe and to have faith.

It’s your decision to pick up your spiritual armor and fight or neglect the use of your armor and not to fight.

But the Spirit of the Lord wants to encourage you to “Fight the good fight of faith”.

With Jesus you always win.

Jesus Understands Fear and Loneliness

Do you feel like no one understands what you are going through? Trials make us feel this way. Do you sometimes feel like God doesn’t understand? The enemy wants us to feel like this, but this is when we need to encourage ourselves in the faith that God does care–He understands what we are going through. Hebrews 4;15-16 tells us, “For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize and understand our weaknesses and temptations, but One who has been tempted [knowing exactly how it feels to be human] in every respect as we are, yet without [committing any] sin. Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]”.

Sickness oftentimes causes great fear, and fear is very real, it is an actual spirit. 1 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.“ I have found during years of healing ministry that a spirit of fear travels with sickness and disease. It is often the forerunner of a spirit of premature death. It takes a decision on the part of the one that is gravely ill to not give into this spirit, and force themselves into the arena of faith where power, love, and a sound mind exist. And Jesus more than anyone else understands this battle. In the Garden of Gethsemane He knew He was about to be slaughtered for all people and that the suffering would be so torturous that He battled fear and sweat great drops of blood. (See Luke 22:41-44.) He was tempted to give up, but He overcame this fear by faith and prayer. And this is how you will too.

Illness often makes people feel like they are all alone. Jesus experienced loneliness the night He was arrested and during the suffering of Calvary when those closest to Him deserted Him because they feared being seen with Him would cause them harm, even possible death. And when He transformed into the Curse to redeem us from it He felt the ultimate loneliness–separation from His Heavenly Father so we would never have to know this loneliness. “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Matthew 27:46. If you feel lonely now, call upon the name of Jesus. He understands the pain of what you are suffering. Jesus is a friend who sticks closer than a brother, see Proverbs 18:24. He promises to never leave us or forsake us, see Hebrews 13:5.

Jesus is our Lord and High Priest, and He understands the fear and loneliness that we can pass through at times. And if you are facing these types of difficulties in your life now take comfort in knowing that He loves and cares about you, He has not left you alone. He’s right by your side. Call out to Him by faith, and let Him hold you tight until the fear and loneliness passes.

Has the Devil Hacked Your Spiritual Bank Account? Part 1

Has the devil hacked into your spiritual bank account? Has he stolen your heavenly benefits given to you by Jesus? I guess before we can rightly answer these questions we need to remind ourselves just what are our spiritual benefits. Let’s look to Psalm 103: 2-5 to find out. “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases,Who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. This is quite the list, let’s examine the first 3 today.

1. He forgives our iniquities. Iniquities means perversity, depravity or sin. How could the enemy steal your forgiveness? Number one, he can’t steal your forgiveness, but he will twist God’s promise to forgive to get you to believe you are not forgiven or cannot be forgiven. How does he do this? By whispering falsehoods to your mind until you accept his lies that God holds confessed sins against you. But according to 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” How do we take back what satan has hacked from our account concerning forgiveness? We have to make a quality decision to rightly judge God’s character– He does not lie and correctly divide the Word of God and call satan what he truly is–a liar, and then make the all important choice to believe–God is truth.

You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it, John 8:44.

“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19.

2. He heals all our diseases. To heal means to cure, repair or to make whole. And Jesus healed us from all disease when He shed His blood for us at the whipping post. “Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken,smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed,” Isaiah 53:4-5.

How does satan steal our healing from us? There are many ways he does this but it is always through the way of doubt and unbelief. And what does it say in James 1:6-8 regarding doubt? “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.“

And do as Sarah does in Hebrews 11:11, “By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.”

There comes a point in each of our lives when we have to face the fact, we either believe or we don’t. Some people have hearts that are very soft and pliable to the ways of the Lord and therefore, they readily believe the promise of God for healing and immediately receive. While others have issues that need to be worked through in order for them to believe and receive their miracle from God. But either way, God is patient and longsuffering with us and is willing to work with us wherever we are at spiritually. So I encourage you to work on your faith level–study God’s healing promises until His promise to heal is more real to you than the disease attacking your being.

3. He redeems our life from destruction. Destruction means corruption, the grave, and the pit of Hell. And redeem means to avenge and to pay ransom. To avenge is to inflict harm on behalf of (oneself or someone else previously wronged or harmed). And Jesus definitely did so for us at Calvary. And He paid ransom with His blood to redeem us from the clutches of the enemy.

How can the enemy steal this redemption from people? By causing them not to believe and receive this plan of redemption that He so richly gave to us.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3.

The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9, AMP.

The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9-10 that, “If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.1 John 5:13-14.

Ultimately, it is your decision to receive or to reject His plan of redemption. I pray you will make the right choice and believe and receive Jesus as your Savior this day.

In closing, in order to prevent satan from stealing our benefits, or to take back what he has stolen from us we have to make a decision with each of the benefits to believe God’s Word and live according to the faith we have in His ways. It’s our decision to believe or not, but wisdom tells us that God’s ways are best for us and for those around us. We will continue on in activating our spiritual benefits in the next post. For now, make sure you do your part in these first 3 benefits–believe and receive them.

Where Will You Spend Your Eternity?

Regardless of what Society tries to tell us, both Heaven and Hell are real physical places. And when we die, our spirit being will pass into Eternity to either one of these places depending upon the decision we make–to believe in Jesus as our Savior, or to reject Him.

If You Believe

God does not will for anyone to perish, to go to Hell, so He sent His Son, Jesus (Yeshua) to suffer and die for us on the Cross to pay for our sins, our disobedience against God and His ways. And He came to this earth, and paid for our sins and the consequences of our sins with His most precious blood.

^“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”, John 3:16.

You Decide Your Eternal Destination

And now you decide where you will spend your eternity, either Heaven or Hell. In Heaven you will have the reward of blessing to live with Jesus for eternity. Or you will spend your eternity suffering with your enemy, satan. The decision is up to you.

“Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord”, Acts 3:19.

HOW DO I RECEIVE JESUS AS SAVIOR?

First, believe in your heart that Jesus is who the Bible says He is. Then when you believe this confess, say with your mouth that you believe in Him.

When you take these two all important steps in life–you are instantly a member of God’s eternal family. God calls you, Born-Again.

LET’S PRAY

You know you have a decision to make, you believe in your heart that Jesus is who the Bible says He is, and you are ready to make a decision to follow Him. Let’s pray.

Dear Father God,

Yes, I do believe. Jesus, You are the one and only way to Salvation. I ask You to forgive me of my sins, come into my life and be my Savior and Lord. I thank You that I am forgiven, and I am born-again this day. I am blessed to be a part of Your eternal family. I love You, amen.
